Shishunki no Obenkyou is an expansion of the concept of episodes 2 and 3 in Shishunki Sex. Both series are generally about sexual discovery with the exception of the 4th episode of Shishunki Sex, which is just a student-teacher sexual relationship. The charm from both series is the idea of a couple maintaining their sexual bond all throughout their youth and the implication they will stay together forever.

Tokyo Revengers
|
Both have an incredibly similar premise of the main character reverting back to their childhood and swapping back and forth between the young and the old to solve a mystery surrounding the murder of a girl. Tokyo Revengers has a setting surrounding a character who is a delinquent. So, his major hurdle is being able to solve a mystery while in a gang. Erased is the simple fact that the guy went way too far back and is little kid. As it currently stands, the main difference aside from the obvious difference in setting between the two stories is that Erased is actually finished whereas Tokyo Revengers' plot is ongoing. The idea of trying to resolve a mystery through the barrier of time by itself is the main reason to watch either as it forces the main characters to work with extremely limited resources and capabilities to achieve this.

Dr. Stone

Dr. Stone has Doctor in it. Cells at Work are about cells at work. In other words, both have science in it. Yet unlike Magic Schoolbus, they educate you in ANIME STYLE. There are plot lines, people dying, and most importantly SCIENCE. Seriously though, it's kind of amazing how accurate the concepts can be in both of these shows. Yet the way they portray it doesn't just serve as a means to explain these concepts, rather the concepts drive the plot forward. Dr. Stone isn't actually about a doctor, more about a mad kid scientist who is plunged into a world of petrification. It's a survival anime, with its protagonist being a nerd. Not only a nerd, but a nerd with spiky hair. With the world plunged into the stone age after thousands of years of petrification, our anime science protagonist seeks to bring the world back to the Science Age as soon as possible. Cells at Work is just as chaotic, but now you are placed inside the human body. Follow the UPS red blood cell deliverywoman as she faces the chaos within the human body: Viruses, allergies, heat stroke, and even cancer will be shanked by the CIA White Blood Cells in the most brutal ways imaginable. All while giving lessons about how the body works by your friendly neighborhood Tour Guide Narrator. If you are curious as to how science could possibly be made interesting, these anime give you that answer.

You have stumbled upon the UNO Reverse card of anime. Watch as these conniving villain protagonists, tilt their noses upward, eat chips, and wear supervillain masks to scoff at their opposition. These shows take two very different approaches in two very different worlds, but the fact that they follow a protagonist who takes on the role of a villain makes them the star of the show. Death Note, in spite of the supernatural power of the Journal of Doom, takes a more realistic approach being grounded in the real world. Taking on the role of the vigilante removing the scum of the earth made detectives take notice. So, much of his struggles involve him outsmarting these detectives in brilliant schemes to eliminate his threats. He finds himself squaring off against a brilliant detective and thus the struggle between these two makes them the stars of the show, bringing all sorts of mind games and logical manipulation into play. Code Geass is placed in a corrupt imperial world where Brittan has conquered all. Now Japan makes it's futile struggle to combat the Britannia Empire. In the middle of this struggle, a discontent imperial prince finds himself thrown into this struggle as he finds the green haired asylum chick who gives him the power to change this corrupt empire. So now, Japan has a brilliant villain of Britannia to support them, winning impossible battles with superb strategic prowess. The hopeless rebellion that Britain scoffed at soon becomes a world-wide threat under the mask of the Black Prince. Both demonstrate the inner turmoil of schoolgirls as otherworldy combat. Both take their approach quite differently, but that twisted world is the one significant thing they share, and likely what you are looking for. Modoka Magica takes the route of magical girls who work toward squaring off against the inner evil of humanity. Only to be subject to the inner evil amongst themselves. As they come to learn of the twisted reality of the fate they have chosen, infighting occurs just before they face their greatest foe. Black Rock Shooter divides the world in two: the real world and the otherworld. A jarring contrast until you find that the characters within each world looks like each other.

While there are tremendous differences between the two, both emphasize the yandere mindset in a very detailed manner. Mirai Nikki presents the absolute dedication and obsession of a yandere. Happy Sugar Life shows the motivation and purpose that could drive someone to become a yandere. In a way this makes the differences a good thing, because if you feel like exploring a different side to a yandere, then the other series is a good one to find it.

Both series carry an air of normalcy in a mystical situation. They present day to day life in the dealings of the supernatural. They both have vastly different premises: Mushishi being about taking care of the spirits that haunt certain places, MahoYome being about an eldritch creature taking on a human as an apprentice and wife. However, despite their differences, the way both anime present themselves is relaxed and calm. What you are looking for here is essentially a fascinating way to explore the various creatures they interact with based on Wicca and Mushi for MahoYome and Mushishi respectfully. So while there are quite a bit of contrast between the two, exploration of these topics out of curiosity is the most compelling reason to be drawn toward these anime. If you are looking for an experience like that, both are identical in that regard.

If you liked the beyond over the top, bizarre action and pacing of either, you'll find yourself right at home with the other. They both go all in on the wild side of the story that escalates at an outrageously high rate. Yet despite the ridiculousness, they find a way to draw in morals in a relatable way. Morals such as: * Don't let anyone tell you what you can't do. * Believe in yourself, and if you can't believe in yourself, believe in those who believe in you. * Don't let the status quo tie you down, especially if the status quo is flat out unacceptable. * Don't let your friends fall into a downward spiral of their stupid mistakes. Even if it means throwing hands. * Be determined, but don't be alone. They demonstrate the essence of manning up to the situation. So if you want to see how characters grow a pair and square up against all odds, both of these anime have that much in common.

When you watch either, then you are likely drawn in by the very concept of the main character's drive. To right the wrong done to their family as they explore an intriguing world with concepts you will come to understand. Both series ends up challenging these stalwart characters on their quest to find the solution to a seemingly hopeless situation. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood takes a more loose approach, giving these characters time to explore this world and try to understand exactly what it is they are trying to find: the philosopher stone. Demon Slayer takes a more methodical approach giving the solution very clearly, but a most difficult task. Having the main antagonist, the final boss, reverse the issue. Thus, the main character trains to face off his underlings to eventually reach the final boss. While the concepts do differ, their approach to the concept has many similarities due to these main characters. * There is a goon squad under the main enemy. * Their quest is a seemingly hopeless one. * There are various superpower concepts to learn as the story progresses. * They face hardship due to the issue that caused the characters to go on a quest. * Silly things happen sometimes to humanize the main characters, i.e. they aren't aloof robotic edgelords. So, with these in mind, you'll be able to find yourself drawn into each for the same reasons.

Both are whimsical animes which follows girls who find themselves in a wild world. While they both have their differences the same kind of wacky energy is present in both with the cast finding themselves thrust into bizarre situations while also suffering personal tension that they eventually find a way to pull through. Little Witch Academia has its main character take a route much like Asta from Black Clover. A nobody who purposely thrust herself into a world of magic to better herself. Though she does so to become as dazzling as the witch who inspired her from the very start. Flip Flappers follows a girl who is seemingly thrust into a bizarre situation after a wild encounter with a wacky magical girl. Yet she finds herself drawn in as she eventually finds herself having a personal stake in the matters she though irrelevant to her. So she faces her own struggles on a bizarre adventure to obtain the crystal shards. Both series have an identical style of combat animation and a similar overall moral compass. While it takes dreadfully long to see the hyperspeed combat of Black Clover, due to Fate/Apocrypha's fewer episodes, they become the highlights of the show. While both are made from differing studios and producers, they both have the same impressions. Where staying true to corny ideals clashes against disingenuous enemy motives. Yet, the hyperspeed combat is truly the highlights of both of these shows. They trade artistic detail for animation intensity. Some may argue it's a deterioration for quality, but if you liked that style in one series, you will surely like it in the other.

This may seem like a bizarre recommendation, but both of these anime are examples of how CG can be done right. Houseki no Kuni, aka. Land of the Lustrous uses its 3D CG as a way of highlighting the crystalline aspect of the characters. Thus the CG becomes a piece of the character itself. Chikan Shita is a hentai that uses its CG alongside 2D elements to present more fluid sex-dynamics in Doujinshi based adaptation without going so far as losing the entirety of a comic style. This allows the animation to far transcend the wiggling still frames that Queen Bee hentai is known for.
