Studying Japanese and French - Fairly fluent in Japanese (Conan helped a lot); my French is awful atm
Off and on learning guitar, piano, and shamisen as well, I suck at all of them!!

I love tokusatsu my favorite of all time is Godzilla, but also Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and Giant Robo.
With that, I just generally like anything with supernatural/monsters/ghosts/aliens/espers.
I've also watched a lot of French animated films; my favorite's A Cat in Paris
I didn't know it until just recently that my first anime was even anime, it was an old DVD or tape my mom had which I can consciously remember watching at 2. I too understand those perspectives and they aren't something revolutionary for me. While reading your review it seems that the main idea of the anime flew over your head. Have you questioned yourself what new can you learn from this anime. Does it inspire you? Does it make you change something?
For me, it reminded me that I need to start preparing myself for the next semester and to actually be more passionate about the things I study. Lately I've been slacking off too much and ignored every kind of work. But after finishing Orb it actually motivated me. I bet some people understood this anime way way differently than me, finding other ideas and motives. But this is what I got from it. I think that this anime covers a lot of topics and lets people think about aa lot. There are not that many anime shows that do that. You are the same age as me I see. Why be so close-minded then?
I think I dropped it because it ultimately wasn't a genre that I was really interested in.
btw, I'm glad to see kaguya-hime in your favorites... it's surprisingly less popular than I thought it would be, so I'm glad to see you've watched and enjoyed it :D
funnily enough, I don't think I actually minded any of the more graphic scenes
and omg they traumatized me when I was younger
but I have a sibling who's still obsessed, so thought that was kind of funny lol 😆
yeah, it's a special show
I do have a question though.. how much do you enjoy Erin Hunter books??
