These shows are literally the exact same and they both came out at similar times: - main character is extremely smart and is bored at school - he finds or receives a power that allows them to make plans to change the world - they make an alter ego and gather a following - the character that gives the main character the power stays with them and makes comments on their actions - the authorities send someone to find out the identity of the main characters - both shows become bad in the second half both of these shows are really interesting and intense but they do unfortunately drop in quality towards the end (for Code Geass in season 2), They are still worth watching though.

obviously they are both Shonen anime and they are both great although gintama is probably a bit better and Gintama is a lot more popular but Beelzebub is also great they and both have quite similar comedy and references. Beelzebub is about a high schooler who finds a baby inside of a person and as it turns out it is the son of satan and now he has to take care of him. But not everything is so bad as now he has extreme strength and fighting capabilities and he literally just beats up everyone in the school, while also trying to find someone else to dump the baby on but accidentally beats them up before he can.

Although there stories might not be too similar but they both are spaghetti western and I mean a bounty hunter (Spike Spiegel) and an outlaw (Vash the Stampede) so that's great. they are both amazing anime *cough cough* cowboy bebop has better music *cough cough* and both came out in 1998 they both have existential and moral conflicts and ideas and both are interesting.
