Where do I start, Kaijuu No. 8 was amazing all through, No boring fillers or unnecessary plot lines. Got to the point and built meaningful relationships between characters. You always want to see the main character succeed, Saw alot of similarities in different aspects of this anime with other ones I've seen. I've been in a bit of a dry state with anime and this has got me right back into it. Also, Showed this to my friend who is an "anime hater" and it made him change his mind from the first two episodes so I'd definitely give it a go if you haven't

Enjoyed all throughout, Finished in one sitting. Would've actually ben a 9/10 purely went down two points due to a flat ending because of the cancelled Season 2, Left the ending to be a bit unfulfilling. To put Horimiya into a couple sentences, It's your average story of teenage high school quiet boy falls in love with popular girl and they end up in an unlikely relationship. It explores both characters vulnerability and how they push through problems together. Wasn't expecting the ending at all, Especially considering how early the relationship was but it was definitely a good setup for them anticipating a second season.

Shows the overall experience of a teenage boy living with social anxiety and suicidal thoughts, Provides general relatability throughout the duration of the film, Kept me on my toes and didn't think to stop or check my phone once while watching. Shows the impact love can have on ones mental state especially during tough times. Great recommendation to friends who don't watch anime or want to start watching anime due to it's shorter form compared to a series and the fast-paced story. Only anime so far I have rated a 10
