Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!

Aside from having relatively lengthy titles, these two series each take place in a parallel world and are centered around the wacky adventures of a motley crew of four (one guy and three girls) aspiring to defeat a certain demon lord.

One Punch Man
add

One Punch Man is essentially what you would get if you took Izayoi of Mondaiji-tachi and separated him from the rest of the no-names. You get an overpowered and bored protagonist destroying every obstacle in his path in order to relieve himself of his boredom while searching for a worthy opponent. Both series are entertaining and action-packed, although One Punch Man is more straightforward.

Wake Up, Girl Zoo!
add

Sure, Wake Up Girls and Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei are completely different in genre, but these two ONAs have their share of similarities. For example, they both have a strikingly similar animation style; all characters involved are chibi versions of their original counterparts. Additionally, the ONAs serve a different purpose than their series of origin (WUG Zoo is comedy-based rather than music-based; Yoku Wakaru Mahouka focuses on educating the viewers on the lore of Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei rather than narrating the characters' experiences in their world). So, these ONAs are recommended as a way to bring levity to their otherwise serious anime series of origin through the use of chibi art and an extra dose of comedic effect.

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei
add

These anime series focus mostly on thought processes and the inner workings of their seemingly magical worlds, but they also contain action-packed fights and bits of humor. Additionally, the protagonists are similar—they work to keep their chaotic environments in check, they show prowess in strategy and in combat, and they have the affection of women but are too dense to realize it.

Robot Girls Z

Both are frivolous anime series with mostly female characters set in a sci-fi environment. Neither is devoid of fanservice. Contrast: CGN is longer and has more interesting characters.
