This show is frail in comparison to the time travel in steins;gate. In stiens;gate the main character has a personality while retaining the basic urge to save his friends and loved ones. Yeah, you can do that with a personality. Also the time travel itself is the premise and the plot. In Erased time travel is just a tool the main character uses to attempt to capture the killer. In stiens;gate the killer is not obvious and it's very hard to tell when the plot twist will be. Meanwhile in Erased it was so obvious who was the killer. In fact I didn't think the person could be the killer because it was too obvious. Anyway basically Steins;Gate>ERASED because Erased just wasn't written as cleverly.
