yo...hello I guess
I a new to the anime community, as a kid I watched The first part of Naruto and the original Pokémon but I never really counted those as anime because they were mainstream. I held on to the status quo that "anime was cringe". Eventually I was convinced to watch demon slayer and Immediately fell in love. It eventually led me to watch more anime of the Shonen variety. Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsawman were the highlights for sure. I then tried some other anime, but they weren't quite doing it for me. I tried a non-action focused anime in spy x family, but I could barley withstand it, this combined boring shonen made me stop watching anime for a while, and I read the manga's for Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsawman, I was glad that they both kept up the same momentum as their great respective animes, but that led me into a dry spell of stuff to watch. Eventually, just because the Opening's music was so good, I watched Oshi No Ko. It was definitely not the cringe Idol anime I was expecting it to be. To date it is the best I've seen a work of fiction deal with the human mind and how others think. Each and every character has so much personality with background stories you care about, and Its really changed how I see anime as a whole. But yeah, thats where im at right now in regards of anime.
