Alright, let's quickly talk about Yugioh Chronicles. This show in a very short span of time has already garnered quite about of negativity in the single episode it has released. So this review is purely in place to suade you to the other side.
Have we got a story? No, not really. In the single 4 minute clip we essentially received nothing. Just a nicely animated fight scene with some voice acting, no lore, no explanation for anything. I'm certainly no expert, however I have played the game and I do enjoy the show from time to time so take this from a very casual yugioh
...
fan. The PV (which mind you, is longer than a single episode??) was very well done and set us up for something extraordinary which so far has been failed to be delivered on. This review may very well fall into obscurity however, I think based solely on the animation and voice acting, such a short clip isn't going to damage you at all. It's nice to look at if nothing else and since it's not super long, you're not locking yourself into something. Am I hoping for better down the line? Absolutely. But, I think it'd be fair to allow the show a bit more time before we slander it to oblivion.

This show is so ass I don't even know what to say. Generic MC who's a sweetheart innocent kid who for some reason gets chicks coming at him every five goddamn seonds.
Story: 3/10, just this Dark Elf settling into life with the MC after returning to his normal world. Super boring, not a lot happens, essentially nothing is comedic about this show. Funnily enough, if you came here looking for an "erotica", try elsewhere, there is so little that happens this might as well be an ecchi. (Note, this is 3 episodes in, so technically there may be some down the line, however, if you're
...
coming to watch an erotica, you expect it to be an erotica from early on).
Characters: 3/10, generic MC, strange Yandere Dark Elf is alright I suppose? Not much to say other than she's literally just the Yandere trope down to a T, and it wouldn't be complete without a random side chick who is overly flustered and clearly will act as all childhood friends in these types of shows do and get flat out backpedalled for the main girl.
Animation: 5/10, it's fine, it's not amazing. It's not bad (although the very first scene against the demon lord in ep. 1 is pretty ass). In the third episode after the 10 minute mark it has a really random crappily animated chibi section for god knows what reason.
Sound: 5/10, literally nothing to say about this, it didn't stick out for me, it didn't scream amazing or terrible, just whatever.
To end off, should you watch this? No. No, there are way better shows to watch if you want anything like this: "erotica" - any other erotica will do, "comedy" - you want a ecchi/comedy? watch DxD, Testament of Sister New Devil or So, I can't play H!. Do yourself a favour and ignore this slop pile that'll end up ignored completely in the seasonals.

Killing Stalking, a "Boy's Love" - well yes, but really no. This is an erotica, is does have depictions of gay sex, however, do not expect a lovely romance, in fact this is quite the opposite. This is very much about as twisted and grim as you can get. The author does an excellent job at creating an atmosphere of danger/fear throughout the manwha and portrays the characters very, very well.
Characters: 9/10, easily the strongest point of this series. Without spoiling too much, the main pair - Yoon/Sungwoo - are both incredibly messed up with incredibly rough childhoods/pasts. The author uses their backstories spectacularly, making
...
sure that everything that happens throughout the story is relevant and the growth/change of the characters is evident and clear throughout. Easily my favourite characters was Seungbae, a police officer who gets wrapped up in the case which affects him in more ways than one.
Story: 7/10, a lot like Death Note in aspects regarding the Cat & Mouse-esque dance between the police and Sungwoo, but with some of the most disgusting/disturbing ingredients thrown into the mix. Trapped by a man who he was stalking, Yoon Bum now has to navigate this strange and oddly disturbing relationship with his kidnapper. The story will constantly keep you on edge and definitely have you frantically turning every page.
Art: 7/10, the art is really good. There are a lot of details/key points hidden in all the panels and it's just brilliant.
Overall: 8/10, however as much as I'd love to be able to tell you to check out the story immediately, there are certainly some key trigger warnings such as r*pe, murder and torture which have very heavy impacts on the story and certainly cannot be overlooked. For that reason this is a "Mixed Feelings" review even though I'd otherwise put this in "Recommended" for all.

Wow. Seriously wow. I personally find it amusing how this show received a far more positive reception than that of Hand Shakers. As someone who enjoyed the aforementioned "slop pile" (as it has been so cruelly dubbed by 90% of people blessed to have seen such a masterpiece) I really, really expected to enjoy this. I really tried. I just couldn't.
Story 5/10, This story is fairly "mysterious", at first all you really know if there are "Wild Hunts" which are machine-like monsters that have been going around erasing humans and causing the apocalypse. Now you know that, we have this group of 5 girls surviving
...
in this derelict land who fight said monsters using "Andvari". What is an "Andvari" you ask? ...literally just a weapon. Weapons which remind one greatly of the very weapons wielded in the legendary Hand Shakers. Anyway, the group meet "Renge" an amnesiac who is also trying to survive in the wasteland and join forces. The story is a lot darker than you'd expect, but nothing that makes me say - oh, 100% worth a watch for being a tad bit surprising. Also, something that bugged me quite a bit, is the lack of male characters. This isn't bad necessarily... but of all the survivors they meet... none are male? I mean, I don't understand, surely some guy survived the erasure if all these other humans did? It just felt odd to be honest and it's a very minor complaint. NOW onto something far more important, the ending, this shows ending is such a bollocks arse-pull load of shit. If you've watched "Goodnight World", then yeah, you've seen the ending already.
Characters 5/10, they're fine to be real, I don't have much to say. All of them fit a trope, "gamer" chick, "airhead" big sis chick, "edgy" chick, "extrovert" chick, "fa- cooking" chick, "100% a blonde, but not actually blonde" chick. Now what's definitely going to make you want to put a centipede inside your ear and make you start counting back from 1000 by jumps of 7 is... the goddamn "battle cries", it's impossible to take this show seriously, they run into battle yelling ***KAPPOU*** and ***DON DON DON***, WTF! To further this point, in any "heartfelt" scene or whatever, they completely ruin it within seconds with the characters moods being way too joyous for the situation.
Music 5/10, it's fine, I really don't care for the music in this show this time around. W'z/ Hand Shakers had far better OSTs IMO.
Animation: 6/10, this is the only thing I consider above average about this show. But, what brings it down - the jiggle physics, I don't care what you say, this is not an "ecchi" (I'm jk, I know it doesn't go nearly far enough, but if people get to complain about the chain physics in Hand Shakers, I'm not going to let ts slide) why does the generic idiot big sis girl have a large rack that bounces all the damn time? How the hell am I going to be serious in a fight when that's happening?
Overall, 6/10, I'm being generous with the 6 - purely out of love for GoHands to be honest. This anime nearly put me to sleep several times and I had to work to finish it. If you want some generic action that'll put you to sleep, go for it, or... if you're just in need to see chicks fighting. Then it might be it for you.

Season 2 of Solo Leveling! This show is certainly something that can be summed up in three words, "Rule of Cool". In other words, there is no depth to this show whatsoever *unless that depth is trying to figure out what the actual hell can beat/hurt Sung Jin Woo. This is in no means a bad thing, backed heavily by strong animation, great fight scenes and an "aura farming" main character it's quite literally the perfect show to bench off of the "Rule of Cool".
Story, 5/10: To be frank, the story is super average with nothing to talk about in the slightest. That is NOT
...
why this show is definitely worth a watch. Mind you, a "5" can sound off-putting to some, however keep strongly in mind that a "5" is average. Not much to note here, for the first half, he's still trying to complete his S1 goal of curing his mother and the second "half" is the Jeju island raid (which to sum up without going into much detail is just another moment to show how badass Jin Woo is).
Animation, 10/10: The animation is what sells this show so well, the fights look crisp and clean and the scenery is great, if season 1 looked great, this looks just as good, or even better.
Characters, N/A: Look, I'm going to be completely real with you. The side characters in this show are practically non-existent, they're solely here to either be fodder to show "oh no! *insert monster* is a HUGE threat!" and then have Jin Woo save/beat said monster. OR, they're solely there to progress something in the plot in some way. That being said, they do tend to have pretty cool designs and whilst they may lack any meaningful presence in the show this is to be expected. It's called "SOLO" Leveling for a reason.
MC, 8/10: I normally don't like OP MCs very much unless they're done in a comedic way, otherwise they're usually kind of boring. SO, this is high praise coming from me, Jin Woo's growth throughout s1/2 is certainly enjoyable to watch and honestly has you intrigued with the powers he's obtained so far and throughout. So what if he's an edgelord using ***SHADOWS*** as his minions, it's freaking sick and so I don't care. Also Jin Woo is not some emotionless killing machine which helps as he does show a lot of humanity and remains fairly likeable throughout.
Music! 10/10, the music in this is really good, the OP is nice, the BGM in fights? Absolute blessing to me ears, almost had me tear up like when I heard Cruel Angel Thesis (I'm jk, Cruel Angel Thesis is godly compared to anything tbh).
Conclusion: Should you watch this? Did you like season 1? Yes, there is far more fun to be had in season two with more summons and power increases with more sick battles with incredible animation/ fight choreography. No? Then why the hell are you asking, no you won't like season 2.

The third season of Re:Zero... what a rollercoaster this is.
Season 3 is split into two halves essentially, the first 8 episodes are the attack arc followed by the final 8 making up the counterattack arc. Much like prior seasons, the villains are members of the Witch Cult.
Plot: 10/10, it's Re:Zero, if you liked the prior seasons then naturally you'll love this one. If you didn't, then you're lying and yes, you did love ReZero (jk). More deaths await our noble (sometimes not so) protagonist Subaru.
Characters: 10/10, the new archbishops of this season (new as in the ones starring here) are each unique and entertaining in
...
some way. The designs are great and the dialogue between characters this season are just as strong as the older seasons. Everyone plays a big role in some fights and the show does a great job of successfully shining the spotlight on them all without damaging or taking away from other fights in the series.
Animation: 10/10, season three looks breathtaking, the fights are clean, the background is clean, it all looks really good and there isn't much to complain about.
OST: 7/10, it's good. Like that's all there is to say.
Overall: 10/10. Go watch it.

What if S.A.O was peak? I'm joking (I'm really not, but whatever). Anyway, this show is brilliant, the cast are well written and you can easily understand and potentially align with a lot of their behaviours.
The Premise: 7/10, the premise is a dysfunctional family in real life struggles and uses escapism through a VR MMO RPG, established quickly is the fact that this family has reunited in the game without any knowledge and get along really well in this world. However... this world is one full of twists and the notorious Black Bird that is to be caught for a grand prize of 300
...
million yen is not quite what you imagine... the plot is a bit out there and uses concepts of AI and VR gaming to be incredibly intriguing.
Characters: 8/10, the main character - Ichi (for his gamertag anyway) - is a shut-in neet who looks down on himself and everyone, he's incredibly cynical and despises his father. Whilst this is all the case, he's incredibly relatable at moments and feels like an actual person rather than an OP MC who has everything go to plan. The other characters aren't as relevant, however all are fleshed out well enough, there's not much to talk about Ichi's father without potentially spoiling some of the more important sections.
OST: 9/10, honestly I love the music and the opening is fire.
Animation: 9/10, it looks really good, no complaints in this department.
The Ending: 7/10, honestly not much to say, it wraps up well enough for the viewer to be satisfied and hey, that's great.
To end of, this is a great netflix anime and I highly recommend to fans of the "Video Game" theme or those who merely have some free time to watch a short drama.

Solo Leveling, you've most likely seen the hype. There's just something great about seeing an underdog surpass his "limitations". This show does what many fail to do in an amazing way, have a powerful main character successfully.
Story: 8/10, honestly, the main plot is just the MC has a burning desire to get stronger so he can heal his mother's "Eternal Sleep Disease". Whilst incredibly simplistic and not being overly unique, it's executed well and rather than being a detriment actually benefits the show hugely. It's sometimes difficult enough on it's own to keep up with Sung's constant levelling up and new skills, so by having
...
a well-executed and simple plot the show isn't sacrificing anything.
Characters: 7/10, for the most part the characters are pretty good. Obviously the main character gets the most screentime and so we see his changes the most. No complaints regarding the side cast, the only thing is that no-one overly stood out (besides Sung maybe).
Worldbuilding: 9/10, honestly with the whole dungeon system and the entirety of the world being under the new "Dungeon" life this show does a remarkable job at introducing new landmarks/characters without damaging previously established characters or compromising Sung's goal of eventually helping his mother.
Animation: 10/10, the animation is brilliant in this series. Fights are fluid and look good and you can tell a lot of work went into them.
Soundtrack/BGM: 8/10, the OP/ED are pretty good, not my favourites by any means, but definitely fit the vibe of the series well. No complaints about the BGM and it really fits the scenes.
Overall, this show has earned its hype for a reason. It's good and due to its simplistic nature is easy to dive into the story and get stuck in without any hassle. Highly recommended for fans of action shows, but honestly it wouldn't hurt to check it out as the show does a grand job of hooking viewers fairly quickly.

ONE Minor spoiler ahead, the 4th part of JJBA, Diamond is Unbreakable. Unlike the previous parts, this takes a much more slice of life (with Stands) approach for certain sections. It's only until the "second-half" of part 4 that there's a concrete villain and constant threat. However, do not let that fool you. Part 4 is a masterpiece in its own right and fully worthy of praise.
Story 10/10 - The story as I mentioned is pretty much split into 2 halves, prior Kira (the villain) and post Kira appearing. In the first half, the stakes are much lower and for the most part there are
...
many relaxing episodes or comedic "foes". As the story progresses into the second half... Josuke and co. are under a much more dangerous threat and the suspense rises heavily. Honestly at a stretch, the story is rather sefl-contained with the only real prior knowledge you may need being a basic understanding of stands, and unfortunately if you jumped right into P4 you wouldn't fully appreciate Jotaro/Joseph returning.
Characters 10/10 - With the main Jojo this time round being Josuke, the cast is already solid as a rock. The whole main cast are very loveable in certain ways and the unique Stand powers are each more amazing and unique than the last. Even the main villain can be relatable (in motive only, I hope) and since the show does a good job of shining the spotlight on everyone it's easy to grow attached. Plus the return of Joseph should clearly scream, goated.
Music/BGM 10/10 - This is a Jojo series, do I need to explain? With three openings in this show that all slap harder than the last and a solid ending there's no complaints in the OP/ED. The BGM during fights/intense moments is amazing and really captures the mood well.
Animation 10/10 - Really, the animation looks amazing, the one "complaint" could be that Jotaro was redesigned, but this new design looks sleek and fits his character. Aside from that one note, the animation is amazing and the fights look clean.
Overall 10/10 - At least out of the first four parts, I must say that this season has managed to captivate me the most, the vibe and just the general uniqueness of this show fully warrant perfect marks in my eyes. Do not be fooled by the lack of DIO, (naturally the man is still affecting the plot without even being in the part) this section is a must watch.

Why? That was the question I asked myself when I finished the story. It didn't last long, in fact I fairly quickly forgot that I'd even read the manga. This is a very boring, pitiful book based off of an edgy VN with a "controversial" anime adaptation with an infamous scene. The only reason I even read the manga was down to the fact that I had fallen asleep when I tried watching the anime and resorted to the option that wouldn't be as slow paced and take as long.
Story 5/10 - What? There's nothing to say really, it's just a terrible "romance" type story
...
that means nothing and really has no lasting impact - but then again, the "plot" isn't the reason anyone cares about this series anyway right?
Characters 3/10 - They all suck, flat out have no redeeming qualities and are all assholes/trash. But, as I said earlier, this "edgy" series is supposed to be this way. The characters aren't meant to be likeable at all... even so I can't bring myself to say that this means it's okay for them to be be boring.
Ending! 1/10 - Again, the only reason I read the manga was because the anime was too boring for me to consume... therefore I had to settle for the manga's ending (yes, it's different). The ending drives off of a sense of shock value, if you expect it, it sucks. Luckily at the time I was not, in fact, expecting it- so I did have a shock. But, like the rest of the manga, it lasted a short time and was soon forgotten.
Overall! 4/10 - This manga is bad. There's no sugar-coating it, however, "School Days" as a piece of media has never been called "good", it's just well known for it's "boat scene" in the show and the countless endings of the original VN that are... "odd". Should you watch it? You'd assume I'll say no, however I actually don't see why not. IF it's done to save yourself from watching the **entirety** of the anime then yes, read the manga instead. Otherwise, just google the endings and be done with it, there's not reason in hell to waste your time with it, it's far too boring and the small shock of the ending is really not making up for it at all.
