-Both feature protagonists thrust into a world in which they must use their specialized skills from Earth (survival tactics vs book/craft knowledge) to survive -Both feature somewhat younger child characters as the protagonist -Both are a little slower paced but give a lot of detail and attention to their respective fantasy worlds -Both are a little hampered by lower production values, but make up for it in their writing -Both protagonists have blue hair (almost entirely inconsequential but a little funny nontheless)

Both feature a slower pace in their storytelling while focusing on character relationships and growth. Both have awkward romantic situations that are more implied than actually done. If you like slow dramas with not too high of stakes you'll like both of these.

Both are gut busting comedy series with heart and a large cast of unique characters that bounce off each other wonderfully. Both also have small romantic sub-plots (although Shojo Nozaki-kun relies more heavily on jokes involving romance) and surprisingly both are light hearted with next to no fanservice.
