Hi! I think you were my Santa this year right? I unfortunately didn’t have time to finish it yet but I started A Place Further Than the Universe.
It is soooo good I really like it so far, the story, the drama, the characters, everything is just so likeable and easy to watch!
I hope I’ll soon get more time to binge watch Idolish7 and Katanagatari!!
Thanks a lot for the recommendations, I had never heard of it and I don’t think I would’ve had the opportunity to watch it otherwise.

I am super excited for S3. I've already read past this point in the novels, but since I wait for them to be released in paperback I'm sure I'm behind you. It's good to hear that you now have some more time to relax. I spent the last year teaching, and am happy that the school year is close to over. I definitely learned that teaching at the high school level isn't for me, and I hope I can find a replacing job soon! It's good to hear that you think life is on the upswing for you!!!

That's a good point. I sort of think he may have originally intended Alloy of Law to be a stand alone but then he decided he wanted to do more with the characters. I'm pretty sure Mistborn was always a trilogy, but who knows?

They are long, but they're totally worth it! What did you think of the latter two books of Mistborn Era 2? I liked both of them considerably more than the first book in that series.

I've been doing quite well. In fact, I just got the second COVID shot, which is exciting! Yay for life moving slowly back to normal.

Spring season does indeed have a lot going on in the anime world. I quite enjoyed the first episode of 86, but I need to get the sequels and start reading them, otherwise the anime will outpace me. I also am enjoying Fruits Basket, To Your Eternity, and Mashiro no Oto.

Brandon Sanderson is great at pulling together different plot threads in a believable way. That's one of the things that I really like about his writing. The second series does have a very different pacing, particularly in the first book. The second and third books are a little less frantic, but that just makes room for the characters to really grow on you.

Also, I am starting to enjoy So I'm a Spider, so What? a lot more. The start was a little hard to get through, but it is definitely improving. I guess I'll have to pick up the light novels at some point, since I've heard they're even better than the anime (something that's generally true.)

Good feelings or bad feeling? It is a pretty wild ride, especially the final book. I personally really like the third book in the series, but several of my family members thought that the first book was the best.

The second series is pretty different, but fun. Don't stop after the first novel, which I think is the weakest by far.

I watched the first episode of Wonder Egg today and it was amazing. Thanks for the recommendation!

Jobless Reincarnation is definitely more forward with sexual elements, so if that's not your taste then avoid it.

I'm watching a lot at the moment, but I will probably end up dropping a few. I've never heard of Wonder Egg Priority; what type of show is it? I agree that the last episode of Re:Zero was great. I highly enjoyed it. I'm also loving Horimiya, which is probably my favorite show of the season at this point. Jobless Reincarnation is surprisingly good. I'd read the novels and enjoyed them, but I'm always surprised when an isekai gets a good adaptation instead of a trashy money grab. So What I'm a Spider has been fun, but not great from my perspective (though it's good enough I'll probably stick with it throughout the season.) I'm also really enjoying Urasekai Picnic, since I love that style of horror (I like horror that feels creepy, not gore horror.)
