If you take a serious look at both of them, you might discover that they are really alike. I first watched Mirai Nikki (when it was released) and two days ago I have also watched Guilty Crown; my first impression was: this is very similar to Mirai Nikki. They are both Thriller /Action /Superpower animes with the necessary drop of romance, drama and fine graphics. They are similar in graphics, in action and interest. Also, the characters are at some point alike (if we are talking about the main characters : Shuu is similar to Yuki quite a lot, even though Inori is not completely alike with Yuno, you can clearly understand the similarities between them. Not only that they both have pink hair (which is in itself a cute detail), but their personalities are both distorted and they are dependent (at some point on another) on the main character, a guy who can easily freak around, but whom -in the end, or at the times that matter -fights bravely (both male main characters have nice personalities and outbreak scenes).
