I've always been a lover of all things anime, from the colorful and whimsical to the dark and brooding. My love for anime began at a young age, with series like Pokémon and Dragon Ball Z, but as I grew older, I delved deeper into the medium, exploring the complex plots and nuanced characters of series like Death Note and Evangelion.

Dark fantasy is one of my favorite genres of anime, with titles like Berserk and Claymore taking up permanent residence in my mind and my heart. The psychological aspect of these stories, the way they delve into the deepest aspects of the human condition, and the way they leave me thinking and feeling long after I've seen the final credits, is what really draws me to the medium.

Re:Zero is one of my favorite series in this category - the way it deals with the concept of being trapped in a time loop and the way it delves into the trauma of the main character, Subaru, is truly mesmerizing. The way the show explores the effects of trauma and how it can change a person is truly incredible, and I am always left feeling deeply impacted by each episode.

But I'm not just a fan of the dark and brooding side of anime - I have a real soft spot for romance and comedy as well! While I'm not a huge fan of the more generic rom-coms, as well as more unconventional romance series like Katanagatari and Spice and Wolf. Light novels and manga are also a big part of my life - I'm currently reading through the light novel series Classroom of the Elite, SAOP, Chuunibyo and I'm enjoying it immensely.

Outside of anime and manga, I'm a huge fan of JRPGs - they're some of the most immersive gaming experiences out there, and offer a rich story and engaging characters. Danganronpa is a series that I love dearly, and the mix of mystery, social elements, and gameplay, is nothing short of brilliant. The story and the characters are so well developed, and I find myself getting really invested in solving the murders and unravelling the mysteries. It's a game that has really stuck with me, and I'm always excited to see what the series will do next.
