Synopsis

In sixth grade, childhood friends Yukiya Asagi and Miku Sakura created a game with the objective to embarrass the other person by taking turns saying "I love you." Four years later, even as they are entering high school, the two are still trying to one-up the other and claim victory. However, as tender feelings begin to bloom in their hearts, the simple phrase has taken on new meaning beyond the rules of their game.

With the passing of each day, the urge to become more than childhood friends grows—but both Yukiya and Miku resist making the first move, hesitant about what is in store once the game finally ends.

This manga is really heartwarming, well-written, well-drawn, and is indeed entertaining. Using the never-ending "I LOVE YOU" game as the main reason they can act kind of 'flirty' is unexpectedly great. As the story progress, it actually got more entertaining. Supported by the well-drawn characters, it is really interesting. The mangaka gives you the mixed feeling of 'SWEETNESS' (because the MC and the Female Lead are both shy but also try to be agressive with each other and can't be honest about their feelings. That's why you will see them flirt a lot) and 'UNCERTAINTY' (because of the uncertainty about their relationship, as they didn't ...

overall, pretty cute; 8/10 for me. The latest sport festival arc is definitely the weakest arc since most of the story beforehand seemed sorta realistic and cute between 2 highschoolers who like each other but the festival just takes it to a level of unrealism with the actions of the male mc taking a complete 180 for the sake of making this more 'romantic' and kinda in the realm of cringe heroism.

However, with the rest of the series, while you may think that the story will get boring and repetitive fast with the reliance of the "i love you" game, there is enough development ...

I can't believe I am writing a 'Not Recommended" review for a manga that I initially found to be quite enjoyable. While I don't like the teasing thingy when it comes to my romance mangas, this surprisingly didn't ick me. It's just that it kind of fizzled out.

Life was good when it was just the two of them. There, I said it. It was good when it was just them playing the love game, getting all flustered. I mean, I couldn't stop smiling while reading. But still, I liked it somewhere around 20-25 chapters. But as the story went on, those moments got less and ...
