The story goes about Pinocchio; a little guy born with a flesh hearth but cursed and trapped into a wood body made by his wood-artisan father Geppetto.

He has to go in a journey figthing his inner demons to earn his so loved human flesh body. Among the journey he travels with a little cricket called Dororo (or Jiminy for closer friends).

Gradually our little wood boy will learn and taste what is like to be a flesh human being and what It is like to be so.

He never thought the real curse will come with being a human so he obviously get depression, as ... all humans, and wants to go back to those easy days where he used to be a little wood toy.

Pinocchio but with demons and Japan.

I give a 9 because of the nexts:

-It really has a good art animation + very good music.
-The story has his highs and lows.
-It really gives what a love sentimental anime must give.

While I was seeing it I was pretty sure I will give it a 6-7, but thats because the start is really a little waste of time like in her first jobs etc... Of course I know it's important but for me it was really slow, till chapter 10 when it really start to "happening" main story things. Also the strange atmosphere of the world makes me go crazy... It's like they have ... a relly good technology like in Fallout but they live like they are in 1950... So this twisted my mind.

Anyway once I saw it all I can get to this anime being very good since it gives what it is (Love, feelings...) but to slow for me, thats all.

ENGLISH:
Evangelion is a EPIC story, that's for sure; the reason I gave it a 9 is because the end of the TV series. You have to see the movies to understand and to get a real final to Neon Genesis Evagelion and to understand the 25 and 26 episodes (that's why I gave a 10 to the movie).

It really is a hard to understand story if you don't see the films so that is the only fail I see on the TV series.

It's that kind of anime that will let you a bitter taste with his final; you will think about it for days (in ... my case 5 days). You will love and hate the caracters, you will feel sad and happy for what is happening, you will desesperate for everything is happening. So at the end you will hate and love it (after seeing the movies).

It really is more ennjoyable the more age you have, is not like every other shounen, is more deep and psychological than any other. The characters are simply amazing, the music, the story, the background... Don't rate it only for the TV series; after seing the films you will change completely your mind about almost every character; in my case I hated some of them and at the end I don't know what to think about then. That's why I'm still thinking about this anime... I'm driving crazy xD

Evangelion es una historia EPICA, eso es seguro; la razón por la que le di un 9 es por el final de la serie de televisión. Tienes que ver las películas para entender y conseguir un final real para Neon Genesis Evagelion y para entender los episodios 25 y 26 (es por eso que le di un 10 a la película).

Realmente es una historia difícil de entender si no ves las películas, así que es el único fallo que veo en la serie de televisión.

Es el tipo de anime que te dejará un sabor amargo con su final; lo pensarás durante días (en mi caso, 5 días). Amarás y odiarás a los personajes, te sentirás triste y feliz por lo que está pasando, te desesperarás por todo lo que está sucediendo. Así que al final lo odiarás y amarás (después de ver las películas).

Realmente lo disfrutas más cuanta más edad tienes, no es como cualquier otro shounen, es más profundo y psicológico que cualquier otro. Los personajes son simplemente increíbles, la música, la historia, el fondo ... No lo califiquen solo por la serie de televisión; después de ver las películas, cambiarás completamente tu opinión sobre casi todos los personajes; en mi caso odiaba algunos de ellos y al final no sé qué pensar de ellos. Es por eso que todavía estoy pensando en este anime ... Me estoy volviendo loco xD
