Really? What are you studying? I honestly enjoyed my job; it was a bit tiresome, like all jobs hahaha, it lasted until some weeks ago, and at the end of the day I loved it. I had fun, I loved having a job to complain hahaha, and the pay was also good.
I know what you mean, 2024 has been quite a hectic year; just today I scrapped my knee on the ground after a dog tried to attack me. 2024 is really trying to end me hahaha.
Which anime have you been watching? I've been enjoying Fall 2024 quite a lot; Orb, Dandadan, Natsume's Book of Friends S2, Bleach TSBW Part 3, and How I Attended an All-Guy's Mixer have been my favorites, and even though I didn´t like Kamonohashi Ron S1, S2 was quite of a pleasant surprise.

I enjoyed the opening song quite a lot, I think the ending was decent as well, but it was hard to connect with some characters; the real Minato was an asshole, as well as the teammates who allowed him to be like that such as Momo, whom I dislike a bit for how he was towards his brother, but I honestly disliked Eitarou and how annoying he was at times. Although I didn´t like it that much and found it unmemorable as well like you say, I wish it took a bit longer to develop most of the characters as well as their rivals.

Really? That's so cool! Which games do you have? I bought during the year a copy from Pokemon Rangers and one of Shadows of Almia; I haven´t had that much time to play though hahaha.
I know, it was truly a scam; the fact he even offered to pay for the Uber to bring me the games was basically advertising my house to get robbed. In a few days, I am planning to buy a copy from Majora's Mask 3DS to add to my collection, but I am a bit concerned about where it is since he was reluctant it was there and his place of work was also there, so I will possibly ask someone to go with me. What types of scams have your friends faced?
It is weird how long it has taken for MAPPA to release season 2, we don´t even have a release date. Someone on a MAL forum said it was supposed to be released during this year but production issues halted it. I hope it is in 2025 though.
Indeed, it is a bat habit for everyone, including me, to compare two anime that had similar premises; I unwantedly did it when watching 2.43 after Haikyuu finished airing. It took me some episodes to fully love Frieren, but long before episode 10 I already had the 10/10 prepared. I need to start reading Witch Hat Atelier because I have read some plots and it sounds quite promising.

I feel Shigure has to be one polarizing character; he solely focuses on Akito, to have her for him and himself only, and hurting her where he knows it will kill her. I think it was said that, despite being a Zodiac, he had a nice childhood; where did he become such, let´s say, character?
I wish Ritsu appeared a bit more; he was funny and interesting as well. I think I read the author regretted not adding more of Ritsu.
Oh, yeah, the first adaptation of Fullmetal Alchemist had a sequel movie, that just like the anime, differed completely from the manga as far as I know. I think it had a bittersweet ending. At some point, the first anime stopped following the manga, and just like the rest of the first anime the movie was completely original; Brotherhood is the faithful adaptation.
I am sure I saw that Dandadan Part 2 will come almost immediately after the first season ends. I am reading the manga, and there is no way there won't be a second part with the arc that is about to start. All I can say, all that is coming is fire.
I think Ranma 1/2 will have at least 24 episodes; there is a lot of material to use, and I feel they are adapting everything the original anime wasn´t able to cover.

Uf, Uzumaki, I have not watched it yet, but the clips I have seen speak loudly; I know episode 1 was a masterpiece, in episode 2 quality dropped drastically, and the final episode had a falling scene that was admirably bad. I am shocked that anime that had so much time between its announcement date and release date could have been like that. I will try to hear its OST though since those never disappoint in almost every anime. I love that Dandadan has been using classic or old songs in its soundtrack! The William Tell Overture, or William Hell Overture, was fantastic.
I remembered Gintama having an episode that explained what happened when anime surpassed the manga; it was funny how true it was, and it immediately made me remember several anime names that continued on using fillers, that inserted a filler out of nowhere, that tried to be original but ended after diverting way too much, and more. I feel there is a good chance for OHS to receive a remake someday, especially since I have heard it is quite a safe story, and some more controversial ones have received adaptations; I mean, Urusei Yatsura (the manga) had some scenes that didn´t age well and were removed, and it also had a questionable cast of characters, so for Ouran High School there may some chances, especially since Urusei Yatsura was quite old itself and not well known by people these days. Fruits Basket was pretty old as well, the author hated the first anime adaptation, and everyone including me was shocked by its remake announcement.
The first anime of Fruits Basket removed quite some points that were needed for the future, and changing Akito's gender was a game-changing decision. The remake was able to introduce Akito's mother who was revealed as an overarching antagonist and a turning point for her daughter's behavior as well as the reason other Zodiacs suffered.

I don´t remember much of what happened in Season 5, but I think it had the Join Training arc where Shinzo joined to see if he was joining the hero class or not. I didn´t dislike it as far as I remember, but it made me curious about what was going to be the faith of Class C since they are a reserve group, are they supposed to stay in the school until they graduate without receiving a chance of being heroes? The latest season was good, but I still stand still that My Hero Academia had a big decline and it never recovered.
I haven't read the epilogue, but I did notice it was well received and the fandom enjoyed it, it also had some minor changes, but nothing enough to please readers/viewers. I am from the small group of people who didn´t have any issue with the ending of AoT, though just like you I do understand why the fandom wasn't fond of it, but unlike AoT I just cannot like the ending of MHA, and it made me think sometimes that Horikoshi didn´t like Deku.
I feel there was a point in introducing them, but dammit they are annoying and I wish they never appeared.
I recently finished watching Bucchigiri, an original anime made by MAPPA, and I swear the anime was good every time the MC was not on the scene.

I don´t understand why the anime changed the original name of the characters; I preferred Yoru over Baam, and while the name Yiwha wasn´t good, changing her family name didn't make any sense to me. Regarding the anime, Season 2 Part 2 had a better soundtrack, and I love that the original group appeared more, but it still omitted way too much information and scenes, Rak and Baam's reunion didn´t feel strong, and everything felt lackluster. I personally don´t like Team Sweet and Sour that much, but I just dislike Wangnan; he is so annoying.

Kotaro Lives Alone deserves another season; it felt so real and crude. I still remember a woman who said she allowed her nephews to watch it since it looked like a kid's show, and it was a huge mistake she admitted later hahaha. Tell me your thoughts after you rewatch.
Alas Ramus was so annoying, I am sorry but she was. At some point, the plot didn´t make any sense, and it didn´t live up to season 1. I didn´t like the second season, but I stubbornly stayed hoping things would improve; sadly, it didn't happen. I think there were plans for another season since the opening song had some spoilers, but for how bad of a reception it received I don´t think there's going to be another one.
Hahaha, same here, I binge-watched Vinland Saga on Netflix and it was good, I hope the rest of the manga gets adapted later on. I need to go back to Banana Fish sooner than later, maybe next year.
As of now, I am in my own Ninja Kamuy experience hahaha; I am watching the adaptation of one of my favorite manga, A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School, but it is so bad! I cannot understand how such a good manga with great material could be so destroyed; they omitted and chopped things way too much.
Are you for real? Hahaha, I can picture that in my head since it was one psychedelic scene. The scene was good, that OST was marvelous, and the scene itself was so trippy. Still, Sonny Boy is one of the anime I feel was too hard to understand.

Did you like Durarara? I enjoyed the first anime a lot, especially the second part since the opening was a masterpiece. I loved how everyone's story was connected. I didn´t like the second anime that much, and I haven´t watched the rest of the series.
How is Bakuman? I know it is quite a long anime that is beloved by its fandom.

Exactly, and it is completely unreasonable and shouldn´t have to happen; nobody forces you to watch another season of an anime you didn´t like, or to read another chapter of the story. Thus, harassing the author to make them apologize is completely stupid; viewers and readers are not entitled to an apology.
I feel there are chances for the story to end in a movie, maybe the anime will end at a certain point of the manga, and then it will end as a movie since I think in that way they can win more money.

Lots of people say the story improves during ep 60 or something, but things are great way before that. The Inugami arc that happens in episode 30 something is a masterpiece. I hope you can give it a try someday, you will not regret it.

I feel it is mostly a perception from the fans that the story went downhill; I mean, most people who criticized how the story ended were also fuming when Ruby didn´t become a love interest for Aqua. I don´t read the manga but I am aware of everything that happens in the manga, including that there will be an extra chapter, I am honestly not that invested in the story, but I have no objection to the way things ended and I will gladly watch the third season. I think there is quite a lot left to be adapted, so I am inferring there will be a fourth season as well.
Hahaha, ok, I will tell you everything I know that came to my knowledge; so far I know Hotaru and Hananoi broke up, Hananoi was in some kind of accident, his parents arrived, and he confronted them for leaving him, and now he is apparently set to go to live with them to another country. I just saw the anime had quite a low score, below 7, and it made me think we weren´t the only ones with issues about it hahaha.

I just saw it, The Summer Hikaru Died is set to air in the Summer season hahaha; that was a nice move. I did see the trailer and I enjoyed it quite a lot, the art and animation seem on point, and according to one of the manga; I am a bit on the fence with Yoshiki's design, like, he didn´t look like him, but maybe that was just the angle. I am more than eager for it to air.
Oh, indeed, Ganbare Nakamura-kun's first manga had only 11 chapters, and I saw the sequel and it has only 9 and is currently on hiatus. I feel it will be a good adaptation and the anime will stretch scenes a bit more to make them last. Regardless of what happens, I am so fucking hyped for the anime! The promotional art looks so beautiful, and I hope it keeps that art style for the anime as well.

There wasn´t any promotion or advertisement for it, I really wanted to watch it when I heard the news of an adaptation, but I didn´t even know when it was supposed to air until I saw that there were already eight episodes released. I will try to give it a chance since it has a great premise.
Indeed, that fight between Abiko and Yoriko was so great and depicted amazingly well how different authors were, from one who does her best to a monthly release, to another who details every single aspect of a weekly release. I didn´t expect to like Taiki so much, but whether he has a big role or a small one I will be happy no matter what.

It sucks to see how unpopular Delico's Nursery was, and I agree it deserved to be at least above 7. I was glued to the screen every episode thinking about what was going to happen, and for a second I thought we were going to lose one or two dads in the process.
That episode where the dads finally reunited with their kids and hugged them was so emotional, especially how sweetly awkward it was between Dino and Theodore.
I must say, Angelico was my favorite among the group; he was so sweet, a crybaby, and I love how round he looked hahaha. The twins were fun to see, but I must say I wasn´t a fan of Raphael that much, though I do understand why he was in such a rebellious phase.
I heard there were some production issues during the airing of the anime, which explained why it aired so later in the season, and I think the hiatus was to find a new time slot. Though I agree, it wasn´t as massive as with Zom 100.
The final episode was great, I enjoyed every minute of it; the mindsets of the main villains, the flashforward of future events, how all the nursery kids were still close to each other, and I feel the addition of that newer character was meant for another season. Maybe it wasn´t a masterpiece, but it joins the anime that I enjoyed this year and that I would recommend if I have to hahaha.

In September I started a new job, and it has been keeping me quite busy; I think it will be like that until the end of October, which I am happy about because I am enjoying it. Thanks for understanding :)
Thanks a lot!

Hahaha, I almost forgot about the turtle; I don´t like them that much, but that turtle was very cute. I know I complained a lot about it in the past, but I didn´t hate it, it just wasn´t what I expected it was going to be; maybe if it lasted some more episodes my opinion would have been different because I would have like to see more about Shugo, Ejiri, Yutaka, and Yoshiharu. I have some mixed feelings regarding Eitaro, and I have quite a big dislike for Momosaki, Shugo's older brother; he gave some very bad vibes, especially how it seemed they all let the former Minato bully other students without a problem.

I have an old Nintendo DS which I tend to play with from time to time; it is a little loose where you insert the game cartridge, so I need to save every 5 seconds hahaha. The same happens now that I am playing Breath of the Wild.
Speaking of video games, I tend to buy secondhand games on Facebook Marketplace, and I think I almost fall for a scam. There was a guy selling only the cartridge of Nintendo Switch games, I was going to buy two of them since, again, the offer was good. He was from the same city I lived in and didn´t know where the point I asked him to meet was, which was a very recognizable place, and then he offered to send them through Uber, which I found weird, told him again were we could meet, and then blocked me. The fact he sold so many cartridges at $16, even Zelda games,
Anime adapted from video games doesn´t tend to end in a video game route, so maybe the final episode will be an original episode.
You know, I swear I was so convinced Hell's Paradise was set to air next month, I am sure I read it somewhere and just now I learned it doesn´t even have a release date hahaha.
Yeah, now that you mention it, with BUG FILMS the art and animation will be good guaranteed, but the production can be a bit scary. I haven´t read Witch Hat Atelier yet, and don´t get this wrong, but it is the story one that starts strong immediately or the type that convinces everyone after a certain arc?

I know! Like, what the hell is wrong with him? I felt so uncomfortable with a scene regarding Rin and Shigure because somehow I felt he was going to accept; the fact he slept with Ren as revenge for Akito sleeping with Kureno was messed up, even his reasoning was nasty. Also, their age gap seems for me a bit creepy as well. He is just chaotic, and that´s it; I honestly don´t like him as a character.
I am almost certainly sure the first anime doesn´t have a movie, especially considering how much the author hated it; I know there is a movie of the remake anime, which revolves around Tohru's parents, and which some people find a bit hard since her parents where student and teacher.
I am currently on chapter 11 of Dandadan, and I find it quite interesting; I like both main characters a lot, and I'm always reading comments about how it just keeps getting better and better. Also, I listened to the opening song, and it is an absolute banger; I am eager for the anime to start.
I have also read some good comments regarding Ranma, like production as you mentioned, and also that it will be nostalgic for older viewers. I am eager to see it.

Good OSTs can be game-changing; I always remember the ones that felt deep, I have some from Gintama, Attack on Titan, and many others, though it is hard to find them sometimes hahaha. Fruits Basket had some splendid ones back in both versions.
How many manga chapters did Ouran High School Host Club adapt? Sometimes I see resurfacing from that anime on different social media, and how many remakes are appearing these days so maybe it is a matter of time for Ouran High School. I like it when funny stories tackle dramatic issues, so maybe I will watch it someday.
To be honest, the first adaptation made everyone a bit nicer and likable; in the remake I found Yuki to be a bit more aggressive and mean towards Kyo, and Kyo more obsessed and annoying towards Yuki. Still, I love to see them being more real, maturing, and finally finding some peace; the manga sequel made it seem like the two of them wanted nothing more than for their kids to be close friends. At the end of the day, I love that all the Zodiacs found happiness.

The anime started to go downhill a bit earlier than the manga in my opinion, but I cannot deny it had some great songs and fights; my dislike towards the story is how it never seems that Deku gets any recognition, which is something I hope can change or improve before the anime ends. I will not spoil anything for you, but I am sure you will instantly get how things will end in a few more episodes.
I swear I am fed up with Boku no Hero, but I cannot stop feeling sad; like I think I said, I am happy it is over, but I am sad to see it go.
After the time skip of Mission Yozakura Family, I completely get the feeling of hating Timeskip; the introduction of two newer characters ruined the story for me. There were way too many chapters revolving around them, and some upsetting ones as well.
I agree, I completely agree; I am enjoying the second season of Tower of God to some degree, but I just want to see Baam and Khun getting back together; I want them to hug, they are so wholesome hahaha. I consider the Workshop Battle arc to be the best arc of the series, that and the Name Hunt Station arc, but even if the series gets picked for more seasons I don´t have any expectations for Part 3.
It does need a sequel; it was one of the darkest anime I have seen. I still feel so bad for Kotaro, and the final episode was just another gut-wrenching one, especially with Karino hiding the fate of Kotaro's mother. I still feel bad for Akitomo, I wish she didn´t leave, but I get why she did it; her situation escalated for the worse too much.
I don´t want to add Tower of God there yet hahaha, not until the next arc airs. An example I consider accurate is the second season of The Devil is a Part-Timer, which was a huge letdown; I swear I didn´t understand the conflict at all, it happened so out of nowhere.
Yeah, you made a great decision hahaha; I keep saying I need to finish it, but I hate Arajinn so much, yet I don´t want to drop it hahaha.
That happened to me with Banana Fish and Vinland Saga when they first aired; I was busy with college those days and missing one episode then turned into two, then three, and now I don´t remember which was the last episode I watched. I finished Vinland Saga thanks to Netflix, but I cannot recall the last episode of Banana Fish. Still, there is no way I will drop it. With that being said, it sucks to hear it was good until its second half, and I am honestly a bit shocked; I mean, it looked promising, and its score is kind of low while the second half was heavily criticized.
Tsundere and Maid, for some reason, can't ever be apart from a harem anime; I am happy I didn´t give it a chance. It is so weird when you cannot tell the plot of an anime after watching many episodes, I still don´t understand what Sonny Boy was about,

I want to watch it, I am sure it will be amazing and for some reason videos from the anime always appear on Facebook and Instagram; I know I will give it a 10/10, but the hiatus is keeping me away from it.

I am so curious about the family dynamic afterward; how will they explain to that little girl why mom's sister is dad's wife? I heard the author released a statement to defend herself and the manga ending.
Believe me, don´t watch it; it is basically hentai. Also, don´t check the Wiki, it will be kind of nasty. The full version of Testament is splendid as well, and the lyrics are so deep for an anime like that, and yeah, the visuals for the first seconds were impossible to take seriously.
Hahaha, same here, I am aware of some spoilers, but I don´t think I will pick on the manga, so I will remain an anime only. Considering there are another one or two movies, maybe the third season will arrive in 2026.

Yeah, but the darkness of these cartoons can be hidden so naturally; it can be a bit disturbing when you notice how much they resent each other.

Indeed, Gintama is an anime that uses a lot of play words in their jokes, I am not a Japanese speaker by any means but I understood some of them.
If you ever had a lot of free time, I recommend you give it a chance; you will not regret it.

Oshi no Ko characters are the ones I feel need therapy the most; a huge portion of the characters are so traumatized.
I have read some mixed feelings regarding the newer manga chapters of A Condition Called Love; like, some people praise that Hananoi issues are being talked about, while others feel the pacing of some arcs is the best. I read his parents are finally on the scene, so maybe he will finally receive the help he needs.
I know, it is great to see it being so popular; I am eager for season 2 to start.

It feels a bit off for me when anime episodes last less than 20 minutes, but maybe adapting chapters into shorter-length episodes will be a bit more scarier and suitable for the plot not to feel rushed; I need to resume my reading of The Summer Hikaru Died one of these days.

I have read several times how great the plot is, to the point that it focuses a lot on the relationship and mindsets while living in a situation like that; which I find kind of refreshing since in most stories it would be an all-out war between humans and aliens.
Hahaha, that was a great way to describe Melt's character development, I must say it was a bit funny the way Yoriko has so much resentment towards him, especially since he was so all over himself in his first appearance. I noticed anime viewers and manga readers were mad that the scene wasn´t explored a bit more, especially since it was very clear it was something he didn´t want and he noticed was it truly was. I read several opinions from the fandom who claimed scenes like that happened quite a lot; scenes that were disturbing or way too real and were almost forgotten in later arcs and chapters.
I honestly want to see more of Taiki with the twins, it seemed like their interactions can potentially be gold hahaha.

I have also noticed the score is very low, and I am shocked as well about it since I agree with you that the anime has a great premise and its first episode was very strong. The main characters are interesting and their dynamics are also so varied and unpredictable, while their kids are also very funny they also have their own struggles.
There is nothing wrong with animation or art by any means, hence I find those claims a bit reluctant and only made to criticize. Nevertheless, it seems there are quite some production issues before and after its release, so maybe we are watching another Zom 100. Hopefully, the score will improve by the end.

I am sorry for the late reply; August was a hectic month filled with work and bronchitis.

Yeah, it was on the 29th of July; thank you so much for your message, I really appreciate it. And yes, I had one amazing birthday celebration.

Someone once said Art is the eye of the beholder, so maybe you will find something in Re-Main that I just couldn´t; I hope you enjoy it.

I am currently playing Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon 3DS, and I hate that I cannot save the game until I finish the level; otherwise, I lose the progress and whatever I win. I saw a video of Nier's game, and it looks stunning, but I am not that interested as of now. The anime is another story though, and maybe after Dungeon Meshi, I will give it a chance.
Yeah, technology is very tricky these days, and a trailer may not be trustworthy; I remember watching the trailer for the Shibuya Incident arc in JJK, and some scenes were very different. It is necessary to watch the first few episodes to confirm how things will be; still, I hope the adaptation of Witch Hat Atelier goes well and smoothly.

Indeed, Shigure was very sinister in the remake of Fruits Basket; I honestly dislike him a lot, even more than Akito since Akito at least regretted her actions and worked to recover everyone's trust.
I don´t much about either anime adaptation, but I am aware that the first adaptation changed way too many aspects of the manga. I just checked and the first anime aired when the manga was not even close to end, so I guess that explains quite several things. Regarding the first anime, I am quite interested in watching the sequel movie. If you watch it before me, please tell me what you think about it. I mean, it has to be good considering it has quite a high score.
I am not planning to ever watch Rosario, but yeah, it doesn´t look that great.
I rewatched Inuyasha some months ago, and I honestly found so many characters to be similar to Ranma's, so I Googled it and found they were all made by the same author; I mean, one of the Inuyasha's villains, Bankotsu, looks like an evil Ranma hahaha. I read the whole remake of Ranma got leaked among other anime streaming on Netflix that haven't aired yet.
After I first watched some reruns of Ranma I got curious about its ending, so I read the manga and I came to the conclusion that suited that story quite a lot hahaha. I mean, in a way, Urusei Yatsura's ending, while not conclusive, felt like it almost ended in a way that suited the atmosphere of the story.
I am honestly still sad that Urusei Yatsura ended, I spent a lot of time watching it and grew very attached to it; it may not have been perfect, but it was nice.
I am still not entirely sold on the new art for Ranma 1/2, but maybe I will grow to like it. So far MAPPA is either a complete hit or a complete miss, and I want to see what they do to a story so beloved by so many people.

I remember the first adaptation had such a sad ost that sounded from time to time, but it hit so hard; like, in the scene where Tohru leaves the cemetery to go after Kyo, her friends fought over how to help her, and then the song began. It was such an emotional scene, the song was called Serenade, Episode 25; I needed to see it again and watch it hahaha.
Some people called it melodramatic, but I found it quite endearing and powerful.
I never watched Ouran High School Club, but I am aware it was and still is very popular, and quite a big part of the fandom wants it back, which scenes were dark?
I am not going to lie, Kyo wasn´t my favorite character by any means, but if she makes Tohru happy then that is all that matters, and what you say is completely true, Yuki felt so abandoned by his mother that finally meeting Tohru showed him what it felt like to have someone who cared for you, and that felt more important than romantic love. Tohru deserved all the love she received throughout the story and even more.

Yeah, accepting it is better, especially because if we are wrong then maybe we will either get a good surprise, or a bigger disappointment hahaha.

I am not honestly done with Boku no Hero, I am just watching it because I invested so much time that leaving by now would feel like a waste. Still, the current season is good so far, nothing out of the ordinary but I would not drop it.
I must that I was a big fan of seasons 2 and 3, I feel that was the peak of the anime, while the manga peak was the Paranormal Liberation War arc, but I was so tired of the story that I am just glad it is finally over. One of the things I always hated was the lack of recognition Midoriya received, the huge bias I feel Horikoshi has for Bakugou, and how weird it felt that some of the villains with the strongest powers were defeated by high school freshmen. Above all, I feel cheated with the outcome of Midoriya after the fight with Shigaraki, especially regarding his power. Still, while I have mixed feelings towards the story, it's hard not to get emotional with a series you followed for years; in the end, it is something like "I am glad you are leaving, but I am sad to see you go".
The manga has great art, one of the best the Shonen Jump has. I honestly loved Mission Yozakura Family when I first read it, but the time skip ruined things for me; I deeply dislike the two newer additions. I honestly like the MC in the manga, but in the anime, I consider him unbearably annoying and whiny.
I feel there is something off with Tower of God in both Manhwa and anime; still, I will stick with them until the end.
An anime that changed my mindset midway, is something I am not that sure about; in the good sense of the idea, maybe Ga-Rei-Zero, I enjoyed the two latest seasons of Kimetsu no Yaiba way more than in the manga, and Kotaro Lives Alone became something I didn´t expect (in a good way). Kaiju no 8 is the newer example of something I wasn´t fond of at first, but that grew on me with each new episode. On the bad sense of the word, which I think started good but went downhill progressively, I have Kuroko no Basket, Munou no Nana, Love All Play, and The Yuzuki Family's Four Sons.
Yeah, the first two seasons feel a bit slow in retrospect, but I feel the seasons were good anyway. I love that the classroom went from being afraid of her to idolizing her, but I still hated the way they ostracized her for so much time; the episode where nobody wanted to sit next to her broke my heart.
I watched the first episode of season 3 some weeks ago, and I actually enjoyed it quite a lot; I am planning to watch it after finishing some other anime on Netflix. I am glad to read good reviews, and that there is quite a lot of character development, which some people said was not visible in season 2. I am eager for what is coming ahead. I know some details about the manga, but not so many details, I don´t why but I am getting really hyped! hahaha.
I know! Like, thinking back, several characters never showed their strength until way late in the series, including Kanao, Sanemi, and Gyomei. I know what you mean, I will probably pack some tissues just in case hahaha. I feel the battle against Kokushibo will hurt a lot.
Yeah, I have been stuck in episode 5 for months now and just remembering that MC doesn´t make me want to go further. I don´t want to increase my dropped list, so I will make up my mind one of these days to just suck it up and watch it.
You are lucky, I wish I had that power, I honestly get stuck with something I don´t particularly enjoy and watch it. Really? Ninja Kamuy caught my attention for a while, but I was already watching too much anime during that season so I didn´t watch it. What was Liar Liar about? It gave me some Harem vibes, so I didn´t watch it.

Nana is on Netflix, but I am still on the fence with it knowing there are high chances it may never return. That hiatus has been quite prolonged, and while it calls my attention a lot, but like you say, I don´t want to get upset if it ends in a hiatus.

I know some info about the anime, mainly how the MC's love interests are his stepsisters, with one of them being an adult and his teacher; also, I am aware of how the manga finale received quite some backlash.
Sometimes I feel that studios know their anime is trash and decide to add powerful and catchy songs to attract viewers hahaha; I mean, have you heard of Shinmai Maou no Testament? The opening song is superb and mesmerizing, and the full version is way better, but I swear that anime was disgusting, the wiki showed details that made the story way more disgusting, and just recommend it feels disrespectful. But damn, that first opening is beautiful.
Ousama Game is the combination of two manga into 12 episodes; the manga was a bit better, but the anime had a great soundtrack.
Did you hear that JJK is about to end? I am honestly curious about what will happen; I am already seeing comments from people claiming they rushed the battle against Sukuna, but I have some expectations that JJK will end decently.

I promise I will tell you what I think of Mushishi after I watch it.

I mean, Family Guy is actually a very dark cartoon once you read into the details; I mean, Peter and Lois have a bad loveless marriage with the two of them considering divorce from time to time while also having different extramarital affairs. Meg, despite being told to be ugly, seems to have a very wild sexual life with a high amount of abortions. Chris seems to have some undiagnosed mental health issues. And just like that, there are quite some other examples that keep appearing from time to time.
The Simpsons tackled some issues inside the family a lot. For instance, the fact that Lisa knows how smart she is and constantly wants to be the center of attention even in situations she isn´t supposed to be and is ostracized several times by her classmates. Homer and Marge's marriage is also filled with some dark moments where the two of them hurt each other.
Sorry, I needed to vent some ideas I had after watching those shows hahaha.

Honestly, the FMAB English dub is amazing, and HxH 2011 and Digimon Adventure have great Latin-Spanish dubs. I also prefer to mostly stick with subs though.
I love Gintama, but maybe if it didn´t have some inside Japanese jokes and wordplays then maybe it would have been a hit dubbed, especially considering it is one of the shonen where the character doesn´t name their attacks.

I know, sometimes reality surpasses fiction. Johan is one of the biggest anime/manga mastermind manipulators.

You know what? It is disappointing that characters, in your normal and average school-life anime, don´t go to therapy; I mean, Hananoi is the best example of someone who needs it. The male MC from Skip to Loafer, the entire cast of Anohana, the entire cast of 3D Kanojo, nearly the entire cast of Oshi no Ko, and though I haven't watched it, the entire cast of Scum's Wish, would benefit highly from a therapy session or two. It would be nice to see characters going to therapy, the closest case I saw it happen was in the bully arc of Marc Comes in Like a Lion.
Back to the idea, I saw a spoiler regarding A Condition Called Love, and apparently, Hananoi will tackle one of his problems in the manga: his parent's absence.
I think the anime enjoyed quite a dose of popularity, so maybe we will have Go! Go! Loser Ranger for quite some years. I honestly want to see Soldier D win. What does he win? I don't know and I don´t care, I just want to see him win.

I think next year sounds highly achievable and not too rushed for a premiere; I would love to see it between Spring and Summer season, though in October it would also be a nice time for The Summer Hikaru Died to air.
I swear my jaw dropped to the floor the moment I saw the announcement of Ganbare! Nakamura-kun!!; I never expected to see it getting an anime adaptation, but I am extremely happy. There are 20 chapters between the first manga and the sequel, so I think it is possible to have a nice adaptation. I know what you mean, the art of that manga is beautiful, so I hope the anime does some justice.

I am so pissed off, I really wanted to watch the premiere and follow it; the fact that it came so out of nowhere baffles me, I mean, there was quite some hype for it since it was a very wanted anime adaptation, especially by the manga readers. The fact it received little to no advertisement is weird.
I may add it to my PTW at some point, maybe when it ends.
Honestly, the play was awesome, it lived up to my expectations; I particularly enjoyed the episode focusing on Melt. You know, Melt past is quite heavy, it shocked me a bit to know he was assaulted, especially by how shocked and lost he looked.
Abiko became one of my favorite characters from the story, to be honest; she was such a complex character that I loved and hated her at the same time hahaha.
Aqua is not my favorite character by any means, but the part in which he saw that Ai somehow survived getting stabbed was very impactful, and for a second I thought he had bitten a bit of flesh out of Himekawa. I honestly love how Aqua and Taiki actually resemble each other to some degree, I want to see more interactions between them.

I am glad to hear you had a great celebration C:

I personally would not recommend it; I mean, it wasn´t a horrible anime or regrettable, but rather lackluster. If you choose to watch it, I hope you find in it something I couldn´t.

Nier caught my attention for a while, so maybe I will end up watching it someday. I heard the two opening songs and they were quite interesting. I usually like playing video games, but mostly games like Mario Bros and Pokemon; I have seen some playthroughs of Nier game, and it looks quite difficult. An hour to find a save point is quite annoying; I would probably find that point but just out of stubbornness hahaha.
I knew about the Witch Hat Atelier anime adaptation, but I am shocked to hear it is at the hands of the same studio as Zom 100. I mean, Zom 100 animation was awesome, especially the first and last one, but the constant delay is making me a bit worried about Witch Hat Atelier since I have heard splendid things about it, so I understand why the fans are concerned.

When I was younger I honestly thought they still were going to pair Shigure and Akito hahaha. Something I just cannot get over my mind is how in 2001 Shigure was such a nice and caring character, while the real him was manipulative, selfish, and shady. I honestly liked his first portrayal more.
I haven´t watched either Full Metal Alchemist anime, but I am aware the first adaptation differs quite a lot from the manga; such as removing some of the Homunculus and adding other characters in their place, making Envy a sibling of the Elrich brothers, and having a completely different main villain. I think there was a sequel movie that also changed the entire ending of the series. I don´t like Harem, but I heard that the anime adaptation of Rosario+Vampire also changed things quite a lot; like, the manga was actually pretty shounen and had some fights, but the anime's only focus was the ecchi.
Hopefully, there will be one; I heard Rumiko Takahashi never gives a proper ending to their stories, aside from Inuyasha (Although in the manga Kagome and Inuyasha never kissed once), so it would be nice to see a real closure to some of her stories.
I wonder why MAPPA decided to be the one in charge of this remake; to be fair, after the studio announcement I didn´t have any expectations. Aside from popular names such as Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man, MAPPA never gives much love to other projects. I agree, if not seeing the nipples of a character ruins the story for you, then you should have never watched in the first place. I think the issue with Urusei Yatsura was that there were some scenes that weren´t that "nice" or innocent.

Indeed, the original anime adaptation was more friendly and funny, and the remake portrayed the characters as how they were from the very beginning. I feel the best way to describe 2001 Tohru would be between "Real" and "Expressive"; she showed a more varied range of emotions when Kyo's real form was revealed, instead of going there with a hug like nothing ever happened. It's been a long time since I watched the 2001 adaptation, so I cannot be that sure about anything. The Remake was a 10/10 from beginning to end, no complaints about that; I especially love the Disney-like clouds when the cursed Zodiacs transformed into their animal forms.
I agree with that, Tohru was a very selfless and hurtful character who was willing to sacrifice her own happiness just for others to avoid causing problems to others, or to prevent others from feeling bad. The Christmas episode is a perfect example of how she saw herself as a burden and preferred to sacrifice her joy rather than cause issues for Yuki and Kyo. I am not going to lie, I feel I didn´t notice the instances where she chose herself over everyone else, maybe someday I will need to rewatch the anime again.

Yeah, a movie release each year until 2027 is more realistic than anything, and even that is like being way too optimistic. I wouldn´t mind two long movies to be honest, but I don't think Ufotable will reverse their decision.

So far I have regretted scoring anime and manga before finishing them, Boku no Hero went downhill, Mission Yozakura Family introduced some unlikeable characters, and Tower of God deviated way too much from the way it was; although the latest one is still one of my favorites. Still, as of now, my rule is to never score until it ends.
Kaijuu no 8 was a huge rollercoaster for me, and it wasn´t until the final episodes that I actually came to enjoy it more than anything. Hahaha, for me it also grew from a 7 to an 8. We have the same thoughts regarding this anime; I am honestly eager for the second season, especially because I saw some spoilers, and one character in particular will be hilarious.
I know, from tender moments with Tengen and Muichirou to an all-out battle against Muzan and every Demon Slayer falling into the Infinity Castle. I just hate how much I loved seeing serious Zenitsu falling so calmly and ready, and Inosuke being excited and ready was also great; I am eager for their respective battles, especially because this will be the first time we see Kanao fighting. I think I will need a box of tissues for what is happening in the movies; I am not ready for at least three of those matches.
If there were good episodes I would have considered giving it a 5 or 6, and while there were some good moments, it wasn´t enough for more than 3, and I am being generous. If only the MC hadn´t been so unlikeable, unfunny, and annoying, maybe things would have been better; I get it; he lost his memories, but WTF? Yes, I almost forgot that little aspect, I think this is MAPPA's second sports anime, and you are right, they aren´t my thing. I will stick with MAPPA's Jujutsu Kaisen and that´s it hahaha.

Oh, Gangsta, that is such a must; I loved the anime, the characters, and that glorious opening song. I think I will also read it when it is finished, I don't want to read a manga that may not return too soon. I saw that Nana, the manga, turned 15 years on hiatus.
I hope you enjoy Undead Unluck; the manga is splendid, funny, and wholesome. I feel the anime did a great job with the VA, as well as with the animations and soundtrack.

Yes! I don´t plan on watching Domestic Girlfriend, but the opening song is majestic; I don't know much about Minami, but she gave everything and more to that song. You know, I just cannot stop thinking that there is something so wrong about the title, maybe about calling a girl domestic; in my country being called that word will be fuel enough for a fight. Back to the topic, have you heard about Ousama Game? The anime adaptation was deplorable, but the opening song was strong, and the ending song was perfect.
That was a weird complaint, and since the show became a hit from the beginning then I understand why the criticism died. Oh, that ending for the second season would have been dark, quite jarring indeed; imagining Nanami dying just for Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, and Gojo dancing happily. If Jumpei was already a low blow, in season 2 there would have been some heavy comments.

I haven´t watched Mushishi, but I have always seen it in "Must Watch" lists, and I will give it a chance at some point. I consider Fairy Tail to be also a good example of a story where every character receives their time to shine. One Piece is also a good example, as well as Haikyuu and Record of Ragnarok. Solo Leveling has its charm, and it is quite interesting to see just one main character and his development, but I don´t see it being one of my favorite series.

I love them, especially the early seasons of The Simpsons. Family Guy is a rollercoaster, a rollercoaster that I deeply enjoy riding; this cartoon is quite interesting, you can watch it just to have background noise, or to analyze how dark it actually is. I am about to finish it on Disney+, and then I will watch Bob´s Burgers.
I watched some FMAB English dub clips, and it's frankly good. I am still on the fence with dubbed anime, but I still want to think they have improved over the years. I think a reason why I am on the fence is because, in Shounen, for instance, translating attack names doesn't sound striking, and using the real names in other languages is also weird. Maybe it's just my thing.

You know, while watching Family Guy they made some jokes regarding Charles Manson; I decided to read a bit about him and came to the notion that he actually didn't kill anyone, all the murders were at the hands of his crazy followers. Honestly, it made me think of Johan and how his followers did everything. Johan is a true man-made psychopath.

It started strong in my opinion; there was something about the first episode that was captivating, but ever since Hananoi rant towards his classmate I noticed something weird. Then, in later episodes, he began displaying more weird tendencies, and when he said he wanted to keep Hotaru to himself alone I confirmed what I was thinking. It would have been interesting to see him going to therapy and realizing the loneliness and abandonment at the hands of his parents affected him way deeper than he thought.
Go! Go! Loser Ranger is one of the few stories I don´t anything about, and I am planning to keep it that way because I am really curious to see what is coming ahead. There are quite some interesting characters I wouldn´t mind learning about, such as the Green and Yellow Dragon Keeper.

I can watch and love something that doesn´t have a good opening or ending song, though that adds a certain extra something for me; while A dark opening song with catchy lyrics and an eerie atmosphere would suit it perfectly, not having one would not ruin the experience. That first Higurashi opening song was quite creepy and didn´t tell anything about the anime; it would also suit it greatly.
It'd be a dream if the adaptation of The Summer Hikaru Died came at the hands of a famous studio. I am not going to lie, I don´t much about studios, but after watching some of the works from the ones you mentioned, and while OLM has produced some great anime, I think I prefer Deens.

Indeed, there are quite a lot of sequels this season, some great ones to be fair. Interestingly, so far there aren´t any new seasonslas that I regret not watching. The only anime that I am pissed off about has to be Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction; I heard about an anime adaptation, but there wasn´t any release announcement, now it is already airing, and I think I will wait until it is finished to watch it.
That sounds quite cute and sweet to be honest, though I have a few reservations over how many students know Russian. Maybe I'll give Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian a chance someday.
It was a complete lack of proper communication that led to the conflict, and I must say that while I first got weird vibes from Goa, such as being full of himself, I came to see how wrong I was; it was sad to see how little self-esteem he had, and how much he loved his work despite not always receiving the appreciation he deserved. While I disliked how Abiko treated Yoriko, I enjoyed that parallel between the adaptations of their most popular creation, and the argument they had was so funny, so real, and perfect. Aqua is not my favorite character by any means, but I like that it was thanks to him that Abiko realized how professional the play for her manga was. In such a small amount of episodes, Abiko has had quite a great development; her anger was justified but her choice of words wasn´t, but in the end, she understood it, at least. I think in real life is a bit more complex, you either have a production that leaves everyone satisfied like Harry Potter, or a Percy Jackson/Divergent/Shadowhunters movie franchise; in Oshi no Ko we saw where the issue was, but who knows who was the one at fault in real life.
I swear people just don´t understand what process is; Oshi no Ko didn´t start as a revenge series, it was about showbiz, and we have seen several examples of how dark it can be. Toxic fans, harassment, manipulation of events, depression, attempted suicide, and a lot more were somehow involved in what happened to Ai and other characters. OnK may not be my favorite anime, but it is really good and accurate in my opinion. Hence, fans who just watched Revenge should have gone somewhere else.

You are welcome; I hope you had a wonderful day C: How was it?

Yeah, Re-Main wasn´t a good anime at all; I don´t recommend it by any means. That´s most of it; the MC starts as a childish amnesic guy who then recovers his memory of how he was an abusive douch to everyone on his junior high school team. This is one of the anime I am almost completely convinced will never have a season 2.
I am not planning to watch Nier, but I hope that for all viewers things go smoothly this season. Have you played the game before? I was told it is actually really good, though it takes quite some time to get to the first save point. I get that delays can be annoying, but sometimes there are masterpieces hidden there; I cannot speak about Nier, but Zom 100 was great and funny. I have hopes that Zom 100 will receive a sequel, but maybe in a few more years.

And maybe that´s why the first anime adaptation was never going to receive a second season unless Akito's reason for being a man was a forced surgery by her mother, which in a way I could see happening.
I read comments that this season didn´t adapt the entire manga, but not that it left too much out. I also hope for a movie, I know this would go against the premise, but I´d love a movie where Ataru finally confesses his love to Lum hahaha. I must say, I was thinking that Shinobu was going to fall for Mendou, I didn´t expect to leave the show hoping that bunny guy and her end up together. Opening 1 was captivating, especially the visuals, and while I wasn´t the biggest fan of Opening 4 at first, I grew to like it a lot, but Opening 3 is forever my favorite; the visuals were so beautiful, funny, and somehow endearing.
The premise is that in China, I think, there are some cursed wells where people go training; Ranma, the MC, fell into one that makes him turn into a woman when he touches water, while his father in one that cursed him into turning into a Panda. They go to live with the family of Ranma's arranged fiance, and they go into have several adventures and meet a lot of people, some of them who are also cursed by the waters. I didn´t watch many episodes, but I can say the comedy style is very funny, though it has been quite some time since I last watched it. I heard people are already complaining about censorship because, in the first anime, female Ranma has her breasts exposed several times throughout the series.

Exactly, I know attachment can make things look better, but still, I don´t care; if I liked it, it will be 10 forever in my book.
For much of the first anime deviated from the manga the author was left pretty dissatisfied, the reason why it took almost 20 years for a remake. There were several elements omitted from the first anime, such as Yuki and Tohru's teacher who became romantically involved with Hatori. I also recall some episodes that by now I know were filler. Indeed, the first adaptation did replicate the manga art amazingly, and I liked that old art to be fair. I know some decisions made from the first anime adaptation ruined quite some story arcs, but I will always love how human Tohru was instead of being the incarnation of everything that is good. It wasn´t bad, but it had some weird moments.
To be fair, more than the story itself I want to hear the soundtrack hahaha; Tokyo Revengers may not be the best, but it has killing music.
I am not going to lie, I wasn´t particularly invested in the first episode, but I will still watch it until the end.
Absolutely, I may not love the movie format, but I am completely sure the movies will be majestic. I would love another anime season, but I can see your point; the movies will bring out the best in the action sequences. Watching the movie at home would be a dream, but it will take quite some time for it to get leaked on the Internet, hence I think I will go to the movies to experience it when they debut. I wish for them to air in semesters, like the first one in the first half of 2025, the second in the second half, and the final movie at the beginning of 2026, but I think that would be too much positive thinking. Honestly, I think with luck the final movie will air in 2028.

So far I have regretted scoring unfinished anime and manga, so I prefer to wait until they are finished; I knew I was scoring Sousou no Frieren with a 10 before reaching episode 10, but I waited until the end, just like I waited for Oblivion Battery to end before giving it a 3. Really? How did the ending of the Hashira Taining change your mind? Was it for good or worse?
Oblivion Battery had some good moments, but lord the blond MC was so annoying! The story revolved around him, and every time he used his catchphrase I wanted to close the page. I understand he was amnesic, but he was beyond annoying.

I understand you a lot; I want to read Berserk, Hunter x Hunter, and Vagabond, the last one is on an indefinite hiatus, and the first two are too sporadical when releasing new chapters. Which manga you want to read are on indefinite hiatus or too long?
Hahaha, exactly, and the dialogues are huge and fill most of the page.

I caught up to the latest chapter of Undead Unluck, so now I am waiting some months to pass by before returning; I love how short yet well-written each arc is. I hope you enjoy it if you decide to read it. I have mixed feelings towards the English dub of Ghost Stories because I enjoyed the show when I first watched it, but I've thought maybe that is nostalgia acting. I have no doubt the English dub must be hilarious, I have some clips saved and they are amusing.
You know, with this I don´t want to criticize anyone's taste in anime, something that surprises me a lot is how so many anime I consider mid and below have some of the greatest opening and ending songs. Really? I don´t think of myself as the biggest YOASOBI fan, but even if it wasn´t my favorite I consider the first opening of Frieren to be very good, and not that upbeat, even a bit somber in a way. I never heard about Planetes before, but I get what you are talking about dark moments and mass murder followed by an upbeat ending song, Jujutsu Kaisen taught me about that. A character was introduced, he appeared a lot in the opening song, he gets killed in a very gruesome way, and then the ending sounds with everyone dancing.
Believe me, I have zero expectations with the Shiunji Family anime, but yeah, one episode will not kill anyone.

I had the same issue with Solo Leveling at first; I am used to anime being about a main group of characters with everyone having their 15 minutes of fame. I think an anime that did something similar was Gunjou no Magmel, I dropped after episode 3 but everyone says there are only two characters who are relevant to the story and are important. Still, it can be boring to solely focus on one character, and it's true that stories like Kimetsu no Yaiba tend to help one to become closer to everyone.

Hahaha, I have learned a lot of world history thanks to movies, shows, and parodies; I am currently binge-watching Family Guy since I loved the show as a kid, and I must say that thanks to so many references they made that sometimes I google up I have learned a lot about history, actors, and important events.
I am not going to lie, I seriously think dubbed anime series had some of the worst dialogues ever, in terms of cartoons I feel the X-man animated series and X-man Evolution had some corny dialogues.

That is exactly how I felt when they talk about how he spent his childhood moving from home to home, from adoptive family to adoptive family, disappearing so many times like he wasn´t there that I wonder how he managed to pull it off; especially since I think some of the families he lived where on the same neighborhood.
I just learned that some scenes from Monster were based on real interviews with murderers.

I am sorry to hear you were in an alarming situation, but I am glad to hear that at least it wasn´t a dangerous situation; I have seen and heard way too many stories that didn´t end well, so I am happy that you are safe now. Moreover, I can completely understand why A Condition Called Love didn´t suit you well, especially because Hananoi was a walking red flag and I am sure several viewers identified with possible toxic relationships in which their partners basically wanted to isolate them.
I think it was Sakurama, though I am not sure at all and I don´t want to read another manga that is not over yet. I know, the pacing was a bit confusing; I think there were some flashbacks during the examination, and I would have loved some more explanation for that. Still, the show had a great premise, I want to see Soldier D and Suzukiri achieving their goals, especially the former one since she seemed to be more devious than what was shown.

I feel a scene like that should be soundless; no character talking, no OST, just the sounds of Hikaru's innards flying to the roof. Did you ever hear the opening song of Tokyo Ghoul √A? The group or singer Österreich (I don´t recall which one was), sang quite a weird opening song, and the full version was a bit disturbing; the lyrics said something about burning prostitutes. I think they would suit The Summer Hikaru Died quite well. I don´t know much about studios aside from the famous ones, do you have anyone in mind? Sounds and ambiance sounding creepy and ominous is a must, that is not even into consideration; there are things that I can tolerate, but sounds and ambiance with this kind of setting are not something I am willing to commit.

Yeah, this season is not that outstanding; I am watching some that caught my attention, but nothing to be a 10 so far. I must say I am quite eager for Fall 2024.
I saw some promotional arts for Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, but I don´t know what is it about. Is it a comedy romance anime?
I am also watching Oshi no Ko, and the ending of episode 1 shocked me more than anything; that "Senbu" (The whole thing) felt so personal and powerful. I watched ep 2, and I must that while I understand what the writer feels, I am on the author's side this time; for the amount of times excellent manga series have been butchered into anime adaptations, I like to see someone standing up for its work, even if it is fictional hahaha.
I don´t know much about theater, aside from some in school I haven´t seen any real one. With that being said, I would also feel infuriated if someone changed the entire script when the rehearsal days before the play were numbered; I mean, the script should be revised by everyone involved there before delivering to the cast members.
With that being said, episode 2 actually answered some of those issues; the author voiced her disapproval and dislikes several times, but the message became so twisted that the scriptwriter received nothing of what the author requested. I felt bad for Goa, I did, he put his all into the script and received huge backlash; unfortunately, I side with Abiko on this one. I get she sounded irrational, but throughout the episode, it was shown she was undermined every time she verbally complained, and the people who she worked with sugarcoated her words to the point the message wasn´t properly conveyed. Goa gave me some weird vibes on episode 1; like, thinking of himself as high and mighty, but the guy has quite some self-esteem issues. I am not going to lie, I wasn´t the biggest fan of season 1, but season 2 so far is excellent; I am eager for the rest of the season.
I completely understand your anger and where it comes from, don´t worry about it; as I said I don´t know much about theater, so having someone who was part of it explaining to me how huge and serious what the author did gave me more insight of the gravity of the situation.

You didn´t miss anything; Re-Main wasn´t a good anime, I think MAPPA was trying to experiment, but it didn´t work in the slightest. There were some interesting characters, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Oh yeah, I remember reading that about Nier, that there were some issues behind it, there was a hiatus, but it returned in July, and now a second cour is about to hair if I am not wrong. 2023 had several animes that went on indefinite hiatus, had production issues, and needed to finish their original run months later; Nier, Kubo Won´t Let Me Be Invisible, Zom 100, and I think there were some more.

Indeed, the original anime showed quite some scenes where it was crystal clear Akito was a man; I personally enjoyed a lot the first Fruits Basket anime, especially the scene where Tohru didn´t know what when she saw Kyo's monster form. With that being said, the remake was a masterpiece; I have my reservations with the Soundtrack since there were a few songs I enjoyed, but the art, the animation, and the character's portrayal were outstanding. Yeah, while I enjoy a good adaptation, sometimes it is better to adapt something that is already finished.
I will be completely honest, I nearly cried during the final episode; I got very emotional since I grew attached to everyone. They were mean, selfish, funny, and caring in their own way; it was so emotional when Ten began crying above Ataru because he didn´t want to forget, and the fact that none of them wanted to forget was beautiful. MAISONdes is such a great band, I never saw an anime having so many great consecutive songs; the third one was my favorite, how about you?
No other show ending has ever hurt me so much like Urusei Yatsura, maybe because it will never return unless there is another remake in the future. I am glad I gave this story a chance; it was an uncanny journey, and I will miss the cast way too much.
Did you see that Ranma 1/2 is also receiving a remake? People called me crazy for considering the idea, but it is finally happening.

Yeah, I understand that; I love Digimon a lot, but as an adult, after rewatching it I noticed there were some moments that weren´t as great as I remembered. With that being said, in my book, it will forever be a 10. I think it is a situation where I don´t care what anyone else thinks, for me it is a masterpiece. Rewatching the final scene always makes me emotional. I think there are some instances where I don´t care about standards, if I love it that is all that matters. I get what you mean when you say it was one of the first anime you watched when getting into the anime world, but don't judge it so hard; if you ever feel like it, go back and try to watch it with the same beginner's eyes.
I read some manga chapters of Fruits Basket when the first adaptation ended and there weren´t any chances for a second season because the author hated it way too much, and the art was a bit weird; there is a chapter cover with a Yuki whose eyes are bigger than his head. The remake also took me by surprise.
I swear I didn´t expect a fourth season at all; there weren´t any hints at all during the final episode of season 3. I know what it's coming, I don´t have any expectations at all, but I will still watch it. Takemichi had some great moments to be fair.
I honestly liked season 1 art, but the second season of Tower of God art resembles the Manhwa in a way. I only hope they give more than 12 episodes per cour since there is a lot to adapt; the Workshop Battle arc is wonderful, and the arcs that led to it are also enjoyable. Hahaha, same here; right now I am not feeling it, but during the premiere, I will be glued to the screen.
And, in the end, my concerns became true, the story will end with three movies; I think I gave it so much thought that I manifested it indirectly hahaha. Indeed, I know some fans complain that Ufotable is milking Ufotable way too much, but I enjoyed the episodes focusing in detail on Tengen and Muichiro. The season finale was epic; I love Inosuke launching himself eagerly for battle, and while I have a love-hate relationship with Zenitsu, his calmness and determination when falling was superb. I hate that the movies will probably air in at least two years, and I am being optimistic.

Yeah, at the end of the day, I consider the 10s I gave to be stories I enjoyed, regarding of whether it was too short or not. Yet, and to be completely honest, I have found lately that I´ve been a bit more cynical; I still give good scores to anime I enjoy such as Go! Go! Loser Ranger, but after watching 11 episodes of Oblivion Battery I am just waiting for ep 12 to finally give it the rank I consider deserves (Not a good one).

I also wonder that sometimes; what if Neterou's last stand didn´t work? I feel somehow Meruem would have been defeated, but not without leaving a huge kill count of Hunters.
I know! That's exactly why I am a bit reluctant to read the manga since I know that even when it comes back there are high chances for it to go again to indefinite hiatus. I saw people make fun that the manga is either no dialogue or pages full of long dialogues hahaha.

I seriously recommend you to read the manga if you ever have some time to spare; what comes afterward is epic, the arcs that come are the Winter arc, Summer arc, Spring arc, and the following arc would fall into spoiler territory, but Anno Un appears there and the arc is just a masterpiece. I think there were some rumors for a season 2, but nothing confirmed so far.
Hahaha, that has happened to me; playing a song on my computer to find my earphones aren't plug and the house listening to what I was hearing. I know people consider this anime a failure, and that only the English dub made it famous, but the opening song wasn't what expected and was honestly good and different for the content of the series. I like it when the opening song and its visuals don´t match the anime.
Maybe I will give Rent-a-Girlfriend a chance someday, but so far I will not have it on my list hahaha.
I remember seeing a picture of the manga on Instagram, I got curious and read it; I am honestly wondering why someone thought of adapting it into an anime. I have a particular dislike for the author, but curiosity is winning this time.

I think in this story even the female lead is a supporting character who will help MC at some point; still, since I don´t think I'll read the Manhwa, I want to see where the story goes.

I am not going to lie, aside from some common knowledge, since I am not American myself I don´t know much about the country's history. I haven't watched many musicals, but I enjoyed them from time to time. I will give it a shot.
Yeah, older cartoons tend to have some weird dialogues and dubs hahaha; I remember watching an anime of Transformers that tried way too hard for dialogues to be funny.

I mean, in Bungou Stray Dogs Fyodor appeared quite a lot during three seasons, and it was clear he was a menace. While I do think Johan was a smart villain as well, I wish there were some instances that showed how he got so many people on his side, as well as how he managed to stay under the radar since he was a child.

Honestly, A Condition Called Love wasn't a bad anime, but Hananoi needed a lot of personal work and help. The way in which he showed himself so gallantly in front of Hotaru's family while internally indirectly saying he wanted to separate her from everyone was a bit psycho.
I mean, I can understand the despair they felt for wanting to ascend, but I still dislike Shion and his group. I am eager for the second season to air, was the last person to appear in the final episode the real Sakurama?

I swear I have never been so surprised by an anime adaptation; I mean, the story is appealing, it has two great and interesting main characters, and the art is superb, while I was thinking an adaptation was possible, I thought it would arrive in quite some years in the future. I hope the studio can be able to replicate the art, especially that scene in the classroom between Yoshiki and fake Hikaru.
Nevertheless, I am happy about the announcement, and I hope it airs sooner than later at the hands of a good studio.
Now that the Spring 2024 anime season is in its final days, are you planning on watching something in Summer 2024?

Yeah, it has been a while since I last felt depressed when an anime I was enjoying delayed an episode for a week in pro of a recap ep. I remember this anime called Re-Main because there was a constant delay between episodes; like, episode 1 aired, a delay, then ep 2, another delay, and I think that was the case until mid-season; it wasn´t a good anime to stick until the end, to be honest. Hence, while I understand the frustrations of the fandom and why they bombarded the recap episode, I must say that a recap episode on a 12-episode season is kind of useless.

I love it when the relationship between the characters is enjoyable to watch; Spice and Wolf wasn´t an anime I ever considered watching, but I have seen so much praise for it that I am kind of leaning into watching it someday. Maybe that character was originally a woman then, like what happened with Akito in the first adaptation of Fruits Basket; I think at the time the first anime aired Akito's gender wasn't revealed in the manga, so he was portrayed as a man. I love it when remakes improve aspects of the original adaptations and make them more appealing for newer viewers; I am honestly considering watching the original adaptation of Urusei Yatsura to compare with the remake that is about to end hahaha.

I mean, when you start watching an anime with a certain animation, even if they introduced way too much uncanon content but that is well written, and aired during a time an entire generation watched it, I can understand the apprehension from older viewers. Still, it is important to give a chance to newer adaptations, especially since they cover parts that weren´t developed yet; I must say I loved the first Fruits Basket adaptation, especially because Tohru felt more human and genuine during the revelation of Kyo's real form, and even Shigure was likable and caring there. Still, the remake was a masterpiece, and each season deserved the praise and recognition they received back when they aired. I like your comparison because it's completely true, especially because I hate when people take an ending too personally and start saying how bad the story was.
Yeah, Tokyo Revengers writing part dropped quite drastically at times; in a way, I understand why the kids in that story acted the way they did because there was nobody to correct them. I mean, I think it was stated most characters in Tokyo Revengers had absent, abusive, neglectful, or dead parents, so there was nobody there to stop them from becoming gang members.
So far, and counting me, there are three people talking about Tower of God season 2 hahaha; it is already confirmed that the season will run for two courses, so that means at least 24 episodes which I hope they don´t rush things. I consider The Workshop Battle arc to be the top 5 best ToG arcs, and I know I shouldn't be saying this, but I have high expectations for it.
I wasn´t expecting to see so much original content, but I must say I loved it! Uzui became one of my favorite characters during the Entertainment District arc, and the anime did a good job showing how much he truly cares for the Demon Slayers members. So far, I think each Pillar will have the short scenes in the manga extended, which I deeply appreciate because what's coming is not nice at all. Since this season will end in some more weeks, we will soon learn about what is happening with the final arc. I just thought that Kimetsu no Yaiba looks like Game of Thrones in the sense of seasons airing after years hahaha.

Sometimes when I scrawl past my lists I tend to involuntarily watch the scores, and then I spend some minutes thinking if the score was fair, too high, or too low. Moreover, it happens to me as well that I think sometimes an anime or manga isn´t the best, but at the moment it gave me so much to think about, it hit in the feels or made me happy, and while not being perfect, I don´t want to lower scores. In other words, while I feel a bit bad for being such an easy judge to please, I don´t plan on changing the 10 I gave.
I have kept my eye on the score from time to time, and while Sousou no Frieren is slowly decreasing, somehow even FMAB is also losing numbers. Still, I agree that SnS will be there for quite some time.

I completely agree that Gon and Killua would have lost that fight against Meruem; they would have scratched him, landed some hits, and maybe cut a limb, but Meruem would have mopped the floor with them. I don't know, I kind of like that Neterou poisoned him; like, he knew he wasn´t winning, but he took every means necessary to prevent more Hunters from dying.
As I said, I feel people read way too into lines; Gon was extremely emotional since he was a sensitive child, and he reacted in the way any normal kid would have. Gon lashing out at Killua who spent most of the arc wanting to be stronger and looking out for him was a low blow, but they made amends afterward, and Gon did feel bad about the incident. I wonder what will happen in later arcs; Gon is supposed to be the MC, and he already fulfilled his goal of finding his father. What's more, I want to see what will happen with the character of Gyro.
I know this will sound ridiculous, but I always hate when characters have snot on their noses in anime hahaha.

Anno Un deserves some love for how the Gods ruined his life from childhood; I will not enter into spoiler territory, but Fuuko did him justice afterward. Yeah, Undead Unluck is one of those stories where most of the character's lives were ruined by their powers. If you ever read it, tell me what you think about Ragnarok arc. I read that season 2 is almost confirmed.
Damn it, I love the so bad-that-is-good trope, they can be so easy to enjoy hahaha; one of my favorite representations of the trope is Ghost Stories, if you have a bit of time, please listen to its opening song. Back to the topic, a decently written arc just in a bad show is a very interesting concept, I'll start thinking about giving Rent a Girlfriend a chance.
The Shiunji Family Children, yeah, I know about that manga; I don't know who was crazier, the author for creating it, or the studio who decided to adapt it. I read the first chapters and is just your regular harem where the guy is belittled, and still, everyone falls in love with him, but in a family and with no siblings sharing the same blood. I swear I hate Harem anime, but I am so sure that adaptation will be a trainwreck I am considering watching it when it airs hahaha.

I cannot speak too sure about the issue because I am just an anime viewer, and I am not planning on reading the Manhwa. But, when I noticed there was only one character listed as Main I asked someone who was a reader, and he confirmed that while there are several prominent characters, none of them are more than supporting or recurring characters. Nevertheless, everything will be confirmed once season 2 arrives, and I hope it gets better.

You know, I have seen several comments and comedy sketches that reference or talk about Hamilton, what is it about? I know it is a musical, but that's all.
I don´t know how it was in the original version, I mean English, but when I watched in Latin Spanish sometimes Wolverine sounded like a kid; I mean, an enemy tossed him aside and he said "Ay" in such a weird funny way. Still, the first X-Men animated series has a special place in my heart, and '97 was so enjoyable, breathtaking, and just incredible.
I hope you enjoy it :)

I was honestly expecting Johan to appear a bit more than he did, but at the end of the day, it was an enjoyable anime with an unbelievably complex villain and a loveable MC.
I know, I am planning to buy it at some point because I read the summary, and aside from the fate of most characters, there is also a newer plot about "Another Monster".

I am not going to lie, Hananoi needs a lot of therapy, like, not even joking; the abandonment he suffered from his parents clearly scared for his life. I wonder if Netflix "You" shares some similarities. I can only see this turn a bit yandere, especially since Hananoi seems to want Hotaru for himself only.
I wasn't expecting such a betrayal from the candidates, and right now I hate that group a lot; I hope Soldier D defeats them. So far, my favorite character is Suzukiri; she seems to have a whole hidden agenda.

By the way, did you see the news about the anime adaptation of The Summer Hikaru Died?
Hazbyn Apr 24, 2024 12:32 AM
After 12 episodes I feel a recap makes sense, but when there is a recap episode on a 12-episode season then I don't see a veritable reason for a recapitulation episode. I remember that! Why were people so triggered over that recap episode of Solo Leveling? I read everywhere how hated and low-ranked it was. Honestly, I prefer filler episodes rather than recaps; at least fillers can be funny to watch.
At the end of the day, it does suck to have to wait for nearly two weeks for a new episode due to a recap; hence, I can understand a bit why some people take it so personally.
I haven´t watched the Inuyasha movies in deep; whatever I give them a chance I'll tell you what I think.
Nice, I just watched the clip on YouTube; it was truly satisfying.

Hahaha, I never relate to something so much as that; when I zone out I also tend to keep on watching whether I missed some seconds or I am near the end hahaha. How would you describe Spice and Wolf? I have heard several positive opinions regarding the franchise; I thought the current adaptation was a newer season, not a remake. Remakes tend to be a double-edged sword, and opinions vary quite a lot regarding them, so I am all in for what you have to say, don't worry about spoilers.
The Monogatari series is on my PTW, and I have heard nothing but the best about it; it's a bit funny to hear is 90% of the time just talking hahaha. I don´t recall if I have watched remakes before, maybe HxH 2011 due to how I don´t remember much about the 1999 version, but I kind of get how it has to feel to watch some things all over again, with the omissions of moments you enjoyed from the first version because they weren´t canon, and maybe even how fast things will go without those moments.
I can understand people getting angry over 14/15 years old characters being crazy and doing stuff that isn't accurate for their age, but I feel there are times that the reality of those characters is accurate for some viewers. Also, as you say, some situations are way too over the top to even consider them real. Yeah, while it's interesting how soon Tokyo Revengers didn't age well, I cannot think it was entirely horrible; I still have a soft spot for it. I hope there is another season, or at least a movie to finish the series properly.
I love Tower of God, though it can be slow sometimes; while I do enjoy the Manhwa a lot, sometimes reading 10 chapters can take an entire hour, so unless you are willing to compromise, I don´t recommend it hahaha.
Some fans are speculating that it is possible for a spin-off series regarding some other scientific aspects; I will not go into detail to avoid spoilers, so I will just say that it is a popular science fiction concept that hasn´t been proven so far. As long as we see the anime adapting the manga until the end, I am happy.
I saw the Hashira Training arc will only last for 8 episodes, which means two months at much; it's a bit weird to see a short season, but I am eager to see the points explored in that arc. Well, to be fair, Hashira Training is a very short arc, so it is understandable to see an adaptation so soon; the next arc, Infinity Castle arc, will require a lot of focus though, especially since it is a very long arc, and a lot will happen there. I only hope it's not a movie, I just want KnY's final season, I will take final season parts 1, 2, and 3 over a movie.

That is what hurts the most, she was so close to passing the second selection; I get she was a tad unexpected, and there is a lot for her to learn, but I still felt so bad for her. Hahaha, indeed, Serie was beyond petty, and it was lowkey satisfactory to see Fern rejecting being her student, as well as asking the living Grimoire for what seemed to be totally useless magic hahaha. Moreover, in retrospect, it is indeed hilarious how little Frieren cared about not being a first-class mage hahaha.
I said it once and I will say it again, we are having a recap movie, and maybe afterward a second season, but as you say not until 2 or 3 more years.
I must say I feel a bit bad over scoring so many anime and manga as a 10, but that is something that comes and goes; still, while I also think nothing can be perfect, it is still annoying to see FMAB fans bombing good anime just to make their favorite story number 1.

There are dubs and dubs; I grew up watching Digimon in Spanish Latin dub, and it was a masterpiece, but the English version wasn't the best, and it was kind of a downgrade. A friend from Brazil told me that in Portuguese some dubs aren´t the best at all, but at the end of the day, art is in the eye of the beholder.
Indeed, each episode's end felt like a cliffhanger; I don't remember exactly how much time it took for me to finish the Chimera Ant arc, but it was a superb anime. I must say it is a bit weird to realize Gon and Killua never met Meruem, who was so overpowered not even one of the strongest hunters was able to defeat him.
I read several comments about how Gon was manipulative, abusive, and lacked any kind of consciousness; and while I agree some points were valid, I feel some people read way too much between the lines.
Yeah, in the first adaptation, he appeared on episode 1; I remember watching the first episode of 2011 realizing that there was something wrong happening, and then I realized Kite wasn´t there. I understand manga chapters are shorter than anime episodes, and maybe for manga readers was easier to get attached to him, but he wasn´t too present for me to care that much about him.
The Phantom Troupe members were one of the points I focused on the most, mainly because I loved their individual designs; I think they were a mix of everything, from thieves to murderers.
That snot was so annoying and disgusting to see; why did anyone offer her a tissue?!

Anno Un's story was so tragic; he was there from the very beginning and no one was able to see him no matter how hard he tried. I am a bit surprised that he was top 5 most popular characters though. I don´t have many hopes for another season, so I recommend you to read the manga; you will not regret it.
Rent A Girlfriend is the reason why I just don´t believe there is a criteria; that manga has survived for so long solely because of how controversial and polarizing the author is.

Exactly! The first season didn´t do anything that mesmerizing or jaw-dropping; we learn about the characters, the MC exercised, and we got the notion that he will become even stronger. Overall, it wasn´t more than an 8/10.
I read somewhere there are several strong organizations out there, and that characters come and go commonly. I have some hopes for the second season, especially because of how strong that title sounds. I read the director wants to produce as many seasons of Solo Leveling as possible.

Thanks a lot; I still miss her a lot, but it doesn´t hurt as much as day 1.
I am interested in many anime from past seasons, but recently I got a Disney+ account, and despite how much I loathe Disney itself, I've been enjoying some shows and movies I haven´t watched in a while. I am currently watching X-Men '97. I remember watching reruns of the first animated series while growing up, and I watched the series before the sequel; it was a bit corny, but I enjoyed every episode.

I didn´t find Monster slow, though a bit underwhelming; maybe I had too many expectations for the anime I heard so many times it was perfectly animated. Nevertheless, I did enjoy watching such a varied roster of characters, as well as Tenma, showing how wonderful of a person he was.
That would be nice; to see how Johann got so many people on his side would be interesting. I mean, ever since he was a kid he was manipulating people to do as he wanted. I heard there is a light novel written by Urasawa that works as a sequel and states what happens with many characters, even the ones who died.

I am also watching those same anime! A Condition Called Love is so far a very cute story. Wind Breaker is my favorite on the season; Haruka is such a compelling character, and I have a weakness for characters who suffer their whole life and then receive the recognition they deserve.
Go! Go! Loser Ranger is so far a very interesting deconstruction of the genre; it is very common for Rangers to be always nice and heroic, and now we are watching a bunch of manipulative people abusing beings who just want to leave the planet.
I am eager to see more episodes of the ones mentioned above.
Hazbyn Apr 2, 2024 7:32 PM
I read the other day that filler is a reason why so many people preferred the first anime adaptation of Sailor Moon as well; the first anime was very long, and I think it aired while the manga was still ongoing, but the fillers gave more personality and development to the huge cast of characters.
I feel Naruto, Inuyasha, and One Piece are some of the few anime that know how to incorporate fillers in a natural way; I love Bleach, but the fillers interrupting arcs right in the middle was a bit weird.
I would watch the school festival episodes Inuyasha as many times as possible hahaha; I feel the movies are fillers, mainly because that is the usual pattern for anime movies from big franchises, to produce movies to keep the appeal alive. I remember watching a movie where Naraku dies (Which I think was the first one), fragments from a movie where Kirara turns against Sango and a girl using Miroku's wind tunnel ends up dying from opening it too much (I think the second), and I think the third one focuses on a group of half-demon/half-human kids living on an island.
I swear I don´t remember Jean beating Reiner up; so I think I will watch it after finish writing this message to feel a bit better. Still, I understand the frustration, and I still feel it.

Hahaha, I cannot judge you since that happened to me a lot while watching Ishura this season; I mean, I caught the gist and understand what the plot is about, but I just cannot remember at which point the war started.
Maybe there is some kind of nonverbal agreement not to remind everyone of how much they loved Tokyo Revengers back in the day hahaha. I didn't have any issue with most characters being teenagers fighting between them, other groups, or adults, especially since it is a bit hypocritical considering how that is the plot of so many anime and manga; my issues arise from a very stupid concept regarding Mikey in the final arc, but aside from that the fights were good and the impactful moment hit hard. I am not going to lie, while I enjoyed the manga, I feel that giving it a 10/10 was too generous of me hahaha.
I still remember a Youtuber reacting to the final episode of Hoshia no Sora; it was fun to hear her swearing, but her comments were spot-on: nobody deserves to hear that, especially over the fucking phone. I was able to see that Toma has his issues, but that scene was impossible to digest. I don´t think I will watch it since I feel I'll end up changing my score, and because it hurts that we will never know what happens afterwards.
That is the best option; I love several of the manga I am reading, but it is so hard to wait. Honestly, I would give Tower of God some years before reading more chapters, but some important characters are beginning to appear and I just cannot ignore them hahaha.
I am not going to lie, I don´t know much about the ending aside from some small details, so I cannot give a full opinion; all I know is that I read that the author is apparently not over with the story. I must say I admire the determination of the studio to carry the manga as faithful as possible; others would just leave the adaptation the moment the manga ended, would give it a movie, or would make a mess, so I will try to stay away from spoilers as much as possible to enjoy the upcoming season.
Indeed, Ufotable hasn´t disappointed with any season of the anime; Swordsmith Village wasn´t my favorite arc in the manga but became my favorite on the anime. I still hear the opening song from to time since Man with a Mission and Millet did a superb job. The Hashira training will be very short, so I am interested in what will come afterward. Regarding the final arcs, the only thing I can say is to prepare tissues; the Infinity Castle is worth every chapter.

I know! The clones caught me off guard, I didn´t expect to see copies of the evaluator as well, not to see characters getting stabbed so viciously; I felt so bad for Lawine, especially because I think she would have passed the exam with Serie.
I understand why Serie failed so many candidates, and her reasoning was spot-on: to be part of the best ones you need to truly believe you are the best, mainly because doubting your abilities will only cost you your life. With that being said, I hated she failed Frieren based on her personal feelings.
It felt so weird to watch the final episode; I swear I felt like I was watching Frieren for years now, and marking it as complete felt rather depressing. I give it a 10/10, and I am delighted that Sosuou no Frieren is currently the number 1 anime on the page.

Hahaha, I know it sounds weird, but since my country is a Spanish-speaking one is not that strange; several popular anime, such as Digimon, Naruto, Inuyasha, Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Hunter x Hunter, and many other franchises arrived here dubbed, which honestly weren´t bad. Honestly, I feel the dubbed version did such a splendid job with Neferpitou; the way they pleaded and begged Gon for more time felt so realistic and even human.
Someone told me the reason why HxH 2011 used the same opening song for the whole run as a nod to YuYu Hakusho. I like YYH's opening song a lot, though it is not the same case for HxH. I don´t remember how many days it took me to finish the Chimera Ant arc, but I still remember how much I loved it; it lived up to its reputation. It was so brutal, and heartbreaking, and showed unexpected faces to the happy-go-lucky Gon and Tsundere Killua. I know Gon was pretty mean toward Killua during the arc, but I still don´t feel he deserves so much hate.
I knew she was going to die, but for a second I convinced myself she was going to make it; Pokkle's torture scene has to be one of the most ruthless ever made. I just didn´t feel it with Kite, and I feel bad about it; I mean, I get why Gon feels bad for him since he met him before, there is something I just cannot fathom about it that it doesn´t make sense to me. The 99 version introduced Kite right during episode 1, and I feel that way his later appearance during the beginning of the Chimera Ant arc would have made things a bit more striking. Nevertheless, watching his head on Pitou's lap was shocking and sad at the same time; especially because I wanted to see the other numbers of his lottery.
Something I really enjoyed was watching the Phantom Troupe displaying their fighting abilities. Feitan is my favorite of the group.
I am not going to lie, he was one of my favorite characters from the very beginning, but the Chimera Ant arc solidified why he is such a great character. Indeed, most of the ants had great development, though I wish Colt and his real sister met at least once. I know this is going to sound dumb, but I hated it so much that snot fell from Komugi's nose!

I must say I am pretty satisfied with the adaptation, and I am glad the anime ended right at the beginning of the Winter arc. I loved Bunny/Backs VA a lot; she was so cute in the manga. I am so eager for the upcoming arcs because they are completely fantastic; I really hope the anime gets a second season, though I am unsure of what will happen. Billy and the Under members receive a lot of screen time later on.
Honestly, every time I get more confused over which criteria an anime must fulfill to get a sequel; some anime I watched this season that I never expected to get a continuation are receiving one sooner than expected. I bet advertising is one of the points, and Disney doesn´t have a budget for anything other than Marvel for that category.

I will be honest, while I did enjoy Solo Leveling, I don´t feel it was more than an 8; I read comments that hell is about to break down in later seasons, so I am eager to see what is coming ahead. I know there is only one main character in the story, but I hope interesting characters start appearing, and I also want to see what is happening in Jeju.
The two of them ended already, but I wasn´t able to watch it; my cat died weeks ago and my mind hasn´t been in the right state. I just finished the seasonals I was watching, but I couldn´t pick anything else. Still, I will give The Apothecary Diaries a chance since I feel it will be splendid.

I agree that it never felt slow, and all the characters appearing gave more insight and perspective to what was happening; I must say I love Johan, Nina, and Dieter so much, and Eva's character development has to be the greatest ever.
With that being said, I truly feel a bit disappointed regarding Johan; I went into the anime expecting him to appear and do more on-screen, but most of his actions happened behind the scenes, or when enacted by someone else. He was indeed intelligent and scary, but I wish he appeared more before he started disguising himself as Nina.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
