Boy meets girl, they start traveling together, they meet other friends who join their group along the way. Magic, sword fights, hinted romance between said boy and girl. I could go on, but just know if you like Nanatsu no Taizai, you'll enjoy Rave as well.

Nanatsu no Taizai is an adventure anime about friendship and bonds. They both give off a feeling of adventure and excitement, if not forgetting the fact both anime feature magic and over-natural powers (supernatural?). Both are really awesome anime and worth a watch if you adore this type of fantasy anime.

The aspect of four friends, each getting their own view of their relationships with one another, is also apart of this manga, which reminded me of it. They are similar in that plot.
