For me this is a hard one to judge, because it has very good points and very bad points.
First off I have to mention the fact the the voice actors in this show is 10/10, they are varied, skilled and uses multiple different accents. Unlike many others shows the characters speak in a way befitting them, the teenage girl actually talks like a teenager in japan and the MC like an office worker. Refreshing excellence.
The good parts of this show is when it is lighthearted and cozy, the relationship between the main characters were heartwarming to me and so was the genuine worry and care
...
the sidecharacters showed.
There are two big negatives though, one is how incredibly dark this show gets. Its also depressing for long spans of time, a whole episode can at times be very dark which makes me wonder who this series is meant for. It switches between heartwarming and depressing in a way that makes me feel that this series will be a homerun for few watchers, it just simplly mixes the two styles badly and sloppily.
The second negative is the characters, while the relationships felt pretty good to me individually the characters are very bad. The male MC for example is portrayed like he says these wise cool things but when you actually listens its pretty average drivel. The female lead is cute but uninspired and many other characters lack any defining characteristic at all. The last couple of episodes were especially bad.
I would give the first 8 episodes of this series an 8, thats how muich I enjoyed the start but the last 5 episodes are very bad and heavily tanks the score for me

While the sourcematerial is amazing any decent story falls apart if you cut away 1/3 of the source material. To make matters worse they also add fillers into it, to twist and change the story even more.
The characters are underdeveloped and filler is introduced to make the series feel as cookie-cutter shounen as possible. While the original work is gritty and the main character is more cold and distant, hell that doesn't sound like generic shounen does it. Better turn it into generic shounen so that the young ones can recognize a re-hashed Naruto when they see it and keep watching.
A great work butchered
...
by people that doesn't understand anything of what makes Tower of God great, making it more generic does not make it better.
The art also happens to be so bad its not even funny, there is a limit to how many times they can adapt the source material to make it possible to anime with minimum amount of effort until turns too sad to take it seriously.
Are you a fan of the orginal or not, stay clear of this shit. If they continue to adapt it the anime will probably be decent because the source material is great but still why watch halfassed crap when you can just read the webtoon, it is fifty times better than this.

This series has been seriously criticized for no real reason, this is not some action based anime like bleach or Naruto so to compare it to them are quite irational.
If all you are looking for is characters screaming at eachother while they try to chop eachother up this is not your cup of tea.
Story:
Randomly on the earth where the story takes places massives amounts of elements dissapear(only one element at a time and only in a limited area), apparently they are being transported to this alternative dimension which only kids (with a specialy developed lobe area) can detect.
What this means is that kids that can
...
detect this world are chosen to go there and retrieve the elements unless the world will fall to ruin. To get the element they must fight a "monster" that has been infused with this transported element using often times chemistry. Therefore there are very much a "monster of the week" feel to it and the "fights" if you can call it that are rarely interesting in themselves.
However I predict a major plot-twist coming up, this series are about to become interesting and change pace. That however is just my guess but I can say for sure that the story is progressing and getting more and more interesting.
Its hard to tell, still after 12 eps its very up in the air what is really going on.
Art:
The art is quite nice I think, pretty clean and smooth and very colourful. I appreciate the animation and am rarely dissapointed.
Sound:
Its really nothing grand, its decent I dont mind the seiryuu(voice actors) at all but the bgm is a dissapointment. The intro though is actually catchy ^^
Characters:
I like the characters of this series, admittadly it has really taken a while, they were quite... annoying at the start and the first 8 eps or so when they were fleshing out the characters were painful.
However if you get through it you will find yourself growing fond of most of them and even interested in how they will develop and most of all in how their relationships will turn out.
Enjoyment:
The first 5-8 eps or so(dont remember exactly when it got better) were around a 5 in enjoyment, really bland, unintersting and frankly a bore. However at the start of any series all they can really depend on is the action since neither the characters or the plot has been introduced and is yet to catch your attention. This series weakness is just its action, no surprise the start is slow, untill the plot starts to take form.
Lately the relationships and growing characters has kept the series enjoyable for me, much more so than mindless action shows. Lastly just got to add, you people who compare it to naruto and claim the main character is stupid, well Naruto was such a clever character in ep 1 wasn't he :P
Overall:
This show holds potential, hopefully it will changes gears totally and turn into something entirely different, there are hints at such things. This could aslo admittadly end up the pile of junk it presently is but who knows, it definitely is interesting

I seriously dont know what lots of people have against this anime, its great and very underestimated. I guess maybe the CGI animation they do on the dragons really doesn't suit their taste and it ruins the whole series for them.
Story
This series is shounen and romance geared, if its the mecha or the action you are mostly interested in this is not for you.
Basicly this series mixes some half-baked action(I'm not saying the action is bad its just not the focus and is pretty rare in occurance) and some deep character designs, development and an overall shallow plot.
The thing with this series is that
...
while the main plot is not so great they focus on character depth and the sub characters story is often being told while the main story is progressing but is at most time more interesting then the main plot.
Art
I really like the art, I dont really like the CGI lets just say it doesn't bother me.
The only thing is.... Huge bouncing boobies kind of buggs me, there's some in this series.. But be not alarmed its not close to the over-the-top ecchi shows.... I found it annoying but bearable. Aside from this "issue" the animation is top notch nice looking and smooth.
Sound
Great intro song, quite decent outro and the background music is there, very plain but not bad.
Character
The characters in this series are very interesting atleast most of them, there are some exceptions but there are lots of characters that will really surprise you in this series. You never know whats going to happen with them, they develop and change just when you thought you knew them and at most times in a totaly logical way but no way near the usual archtypes.
Enjoyment
Its fun, to not really know what is going to happen next, to not really know what a character is going to do. Its so refreshing compared to other shounen anime where the character archtypes are so predictable its silly. Its basicly like this, instead of looking forward to and wondering how they are going to beat enemy boss, you're sitting there wondering what's going to happen before they meet the boss.
Overall
Surprising action packed romantic shounen series, what's not to love? The originality of this series is really impressive!

Tide-Line Blue is basicly a military drama, action is included but its mostly just watching torpedoes being fired at back and forth. Therefore what really makes up this series is the characters, plot and drama.
Story:
The story is nothing great, its rather quite simple but its ingenious in its simplicity.
Simple but touching, not complex but still intriguing because of this it flows very naturaly and at a high pace which just draws you in.
Art:
I dont have much so say about this, its average, I think the characters movement and motions seem more fluent and detailed then usual otherwise its good but not great.
Sound:
Just amazing, I
...
almost never noticed the music while watching the series the music just flowed naturaly with everything else, enhancing the enjoyment considerably. Looking back at the series now its almost always a good piece of background music being played.
Character:
Here is where it starts getting interesting, there's a bunch of characters in this series offcourse and at a first glanze everyone seems like a run of the mill character.
We've got the typical rash and hot-headed shounen main character, the lost twin brother, the first-aggresive, later-loving girl with the perfect love triangel buildup and the perfect "sensei" to always be there and guide everyone.
However none of these characters will fit into the molds that you think they will, the characters of this series will always come out of nowhere and surprise you with their depth.
Enjoyment:
I enjoyed this series tremendously, I just got sucked into its pace and after that it was over in one seemingly very short night.
Something I haven't mentioned yet that really made this series great is its humour, yeah thats right, you cant see the genre "comedy" associated with this series anywhere can you?
But its in there, its not very frequent at all but when its coming its coming to squeeze the shit out of your stomach muscles believe me XD Those rare short moments really brightened this series up considerably and earned it the overall 8.
Overall:
This series has decent drama but bad action however what wins me over is the "feel" of the show. How I just cant wait for whats coming up next, its not that i really care about whats going to happen its just that once your stuck in its mood you just feel that whatever is going to happen you know its going to be one heck of a ride.
