"Go Simon, with that drill of yours take us through to the heavens"- Kamina
"This is the continuation of a story about a man who has yet to realize his own destiny"-Narrator
"For how long are you going to keep running away Simon? We have finally made it upp here, if you wish to throw away your old self now is the time! It must be now!"- Kamina
"Simon will do it"-Kamina
"Why? why do you say that? How come you believe in him so strongly?"- Yoko
"I dont really have reason, It's just that we are the same. Because I believe in him I can believe in you. Because I believe in you I can believe in him. We are the same me and him"- Kamina
"Remember this you damn beast. Gattai is when two fighting spirits collide and unite, it's when a mans soul is ablaze! The ultimate gattai Gurren-Lagann, who the hell do think I am!"- Kamina
"This is a story of a man who continued to fight against his destiny. That man was devoted to his ambitions, lived without restraint, loved his comrades and aimed for freedom and then suddenly ceased to exist. Even so Simon continues to live on, with no other choice but to keep going forward"- Narrator
"Simon, I'm happy that everyone came out so save me and I know, Simon that at that time you ran faster than anyone for me... Simon... Arigatou."- Nia
"This person is your bro is'nt he?"- Nia
"I'm weird..Right?"- Simon
"No, you're not weird. Simon, why you made these figures is something even I can understand, its because you really loved this person"- Nia
"Kamina told me before.^He's the one that always saves me, he's the one that doesn't give up, even at the end! At that time I had no confidence, I just wasnt strong enough and when we all were trapped in that hole there wasn't a thing I could do. But Simon kept on digging, believing in my show of courage, in the end he was the one who saved me. Surviving that hole and gaining confidence came from believing in Simon, when I feel weak or when i lack self-confidence I imagine Simons back as he dug tirelessly. I wanted to become a man whose back would never break, thats what I thought.^- Yoko
"Bro is dead, he's no longer here! However on my back and within my heart he continues to live on! Digging a hole to pierce the heavens, even in a grave I can drill on and if I can breakthrough its my victory! Who do you think I am?! I'm Simon not my bro Kamina, I am myself, Simon the digger."- Simon

Yeah I noticed you pick up a lot of stuf 0_0
I only tend to pick up 8-10 shows per season. And that's a very recent thing. Before that I'd only take a few, and mostly watch old completed shows.
Anyway, just finished with Steins;Gate and No.6 from the previous season.
S;G is now officially one of my favourite anime ever. The last few episodes were spectacular, and Okarin was seriously cool in that last episode.
No.6 was mostly good too in the end and I am glad I didn't drop it, but as you know I was disappointed with certain decisions on where the series went, and I felt that the plot lost out on a lot of potential because of bad pacing. The ending was also really cliché and a bit of a Gainax Ending(http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GainaxEnding)
Looks like a pretty interesting season. All my prospects are in that thread. If you look a bit later on in the thread I also posted some Fate/Zero trailers which looks pretty awesome. I worked out the identity of a couple of the servants in Zero from their trailers too ^^
Sakura is mentally ill. All the thoughts like "If only senpai got injured so he couldn't fight any more" and all that. 0_0
I can see why you were a bit traumatised over Heavens Feel if you actually play the game "as yourself" - Shirou never found out about Sakura being a dirty bitch did he? Hell, even if he did, he would have forgiven her. Shirou is a great main character but he's a bit too much of a pushover at times.
Anyway, if you get all 5 endings (Fate, UBW Good, UBW True, Heavens Feel Normal, Heavens Feel True), you unlock a "final" Tiger Dojo where they kind of summarise the game. I guess you haven't seen this so here it is on youtube:
In that video, they talk about whether Shirou after each of the game's routes will "become" Archer in the future. Obviously with each ending, there is a different future, and only one of the futures will involve Shirou becoming the same person who was Rin's servant in the Holy Grail War, right?
My theory is that the Shirou who becomes the cold, twisted, adult version of himself, is actually from one of the bad ends. If you play about half way through Heavens Feel, after Sakura has had the crest worm extracted by Kirei, you have a choice for Shirou to "Keep his ideal, and kill Sakura to save hundreds" or "Save Sakura and betray himself"
If you choose to kill Sakura, you get a bad end, because Shirou lives on following his ideal of saving everyone, and will eventually become cold and twisted like Archer as he is constantly betrayed.
In UBW, Archer says that he gave up that ideal only after his death and saw how bad humanity as a whole is.
As cool as Archer was, he was a little bit crazy. It would suck to think that Shirou had to become that in the future no matter which ending you took. Hopefully my idea is right, and he only goes crazy after that one bad ending. ^^
No, it was a normal part of the storyline on Day 15. You would have to have played through it to get to the true end for sure.
Just before that, Shirou and Kirei were running away from the castle. Kirei stayed behind to fight Assassin, and Shirou couldn't escape so he fought Berserker anyway.
As for the Normal End - it's kind of depressing. The true end is way better. ^^
Yeah, Dark Beserker chases after Shirou and Ilya, but they can't get away so Shirou takes the restraint off Archer's arm and project's Berserker's sword, then uses some weird technique called "Nine Lives Blade Works" to beat Berserker instantly. It's almost like nine cuts at the same time - maybe related to Assassin's "Tsubame-Gaeshi" where he does 3 cuts at once?
I'm saying Zero ISN'T Hollow Ataraxia ^^
Zero is a prequel
Hollow Ataraxia is a sequel
Sorry if I didn't make that clear 0_0
And the Shirou vs Berserker fight I meant was the one in Heavens Feel. He beats Dark Berserker in one hit using "Nine Lives Blade Works"
Why didn't Archer just do that himself during the Fate Route lol? Surely, Archer's arm attached to Shirou isn't as strong as Archer himself???
I get the impression that Fate/Zero is a prequel, about the 4th War 10 years before Stay Night. Emiya Kiritsugu will probably be the main character, as Saber's master. And we'll probably get to see Rin's father. Interesting to see a whole new set of servants too. I mean we know Saber is the Saber from Stay Night, and Archer in the 4th War is Gilgamesh, but we don't know who any of the others were right? Should be interesting to see some more famous heroes in that context.
I've read about Hollow Ataraxia a bit as well, and I think it's more of a "fanservice" thing than a serious sequel. And I've seen that Caster, Berserker, etc all still seem to be alive even though they aren't in any of the Stay Night endings. So I'm pretty sure it's more of a spinoff.
The only thing I don't really get in Fate is why Zouken was so....inactive...in the first two routes. For someone with that much of a goal, you would have expected him to appear as a bad guy in all 3 routes, like Kirei or Gilgamesh. It just seems a bit weird how he did nothing at all, unless Shirou was especially nice to Sakura in the first 3 days :p
Other than that, I think the storyline was very well done. Shirou was seriously overpowered at the end of Heavens Feel (in one of the bad ends he actually beats Saber one on one) but I can forgive that to a point. Although the fact that Archer couldn't beat Berserker in Fate, but Shirou with ONE of Archer's arms could beat Berserker in HF is a but unreasonable IMO.
Well I've totally finished Fate/Stay Night now. I've got every ending done.
I'm sort of speechless at Heavens Feel. It was just plainly epic.
Kirei showing up at the end was kind of unexpected. I don't think they explained his past enough to justify him being such a major villain in all three routes, so I'm hoping that the Fate/Zero anime next season will be decent enough to go into some more depth about that
It seems like there's also a show called "Carnival Phantasm" starting soon which seems to be a parody of Fate/Stay Night and other Type-Moon works like Tsukihime.
Anyway, you have my greatest thanks for recommending the VN. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it's opened my mind to trying other VNs in the future.

I've just been generally relaxing and enjoying the last few weeks before I go back to university on the 25th of September.
I saw this earlier : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3oPOj7Ue34
A fighting game for FSN. Looks really good. I might have to look more into this.
I'm generally well at the moment anyway.
Have you seen the chart for the next anime season yet? : http://www.yibis.com/index.php/topic,2755.0.html

Looks pretty good to me.
Kiritsugu with a gun? It would be so funny if he just went around shooting the other masters in the head instead of fighting them lol.
The servant shown near the end who is presumably a Lancer looks badass.

Actually just about to play a bit more.
I still prefer Unlimited Blade Works at the moment but Heavens Feel is really good too.
