I did not see a review for this so I decided to write one.
Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R: Make Up! Sailor Senshi is a Sailor Moon special that probably showed right before Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R: The Movie. For some reason MyAnimeList thought it would cute to explain everything that happens in the synopsis. So if you haven't read it yet don't it's major spoiler. Also this special and review is for people that have watched the original series and R. If you have yet to watch those go watch them and come back. This special is only 17 minutes so don't expect a
...
long winded review.
I was surprised to see such an iconic series as Sailor Moon to have something unreviewed. Somehow this little special seems to have gotten pushed into obscurity. I love Sailor Moon and rated the previous two seasons a 10/10 so I was excited to see I would be able to review something of it (I only review the unreviewed). But sadly this special was lacking and rather boring.
The single episode consists of various scenes from the anime with some new ones mixed. This feels more like a recap than anything and I hate recaps. The special has two girls talking about the Sailor Senshi while Usagi listens. While they talk about the characters it shows some scenes from the previous seasons. The girls pretty much just explain the personalities of the characters and by this point you should definitely know how each character is. This was really boring and I was constantly thinking "when will this be over?" The new scenes mixed in are not exceptionally entertaining as well. I gave the art a 6/10. I like the Sailor Moon style and 90s vibe but it's still like 80% scenes I've seen before. I usually dislike rewatching stuff and it pissed me off. I gave sound a 6/10 too. As the girls talk about Sailor Moon and Co. the character's image songs play. I didn't really pay attention to them but they weren't that exciting. The whole thing is mediocre.
Sadly I do not really have anything good to say. I watched this because it was a quick add, Sailor Moon, and I could review it. I only recommend this if you are currently experiencing amnesia and don't remember how the characters act. Or if you for some reason enjoy recaps that don't really recap anything.
Enjoyment, story, and overall is a 4/10.

I did not see a review for this so I decided to write one.
I often see people confused of what order to watch anime especially when episode 00s and prequels are involved. A good rule to follow is watch them in order of date they were released, this way you will not spoil or mess up something for yourself. This episode does not contain any possible spoilers if you watched it first but I still highly suggest following that rule.
Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World - Tou no Kuni is shorter then the usual episode but the story is still welly put together, doesn't seem
...
rushed, and has the charm Kino no Tabi is known to have. In this country people are constantly putting their whole life into constructing a massive tower. I can't go much into story because spoilers but I definitely feel this is one of the odder countries. This episode does not really contain action (she does pull her gun out at a point tho) and is not one of the tragic episodes. The music in this episode seems to have a more Egyptian vibe to it. Possibly trying to connect a message about the construction of the pyramids and modern day civilization? I suggest watching this and trying to decipher it's message, especially if you enjoyed the rest of the series~!

I did not see a review so I decided to write one.
It's so sad to see such a good piece of music get such bad ratings. I feel the people rated this badly are unfamiliar with Nobukazu Takemura. Takemura this time brings us one of his jazz songs. Accompanying him is the vocalist Aki Tsuyuko. I personally prefer it when he has vocaloids do the vocals but Tsuyuko is definitely not bad. I do not listen to jazz that much but Takemura's work is excellent. I give the music a strong 9. There is not much of a story, it's just a girl playing with
...
a blobby dude and pigs.
Now about the visuals and animation which is what I believe is the culprit of the bad ratings, well actually the people who don't have prior of knowledge of Takemura are to blame. The video is in choppy, blobby, claymation. It looks like a kid made it and well that is intentional. I honestly would not be surprised if a kid did make the characters in the video. Takemura's music constantly focuses on the imagination that children have. So it makes perfect since to make it look like a kid made the video.

One of my favorite songs by one of my favorite musicians, the great Nobukazu Takemura. Takemura brings you upon a wonderful musical adventure. His composition "Sign" is a mix of idm, breakbeat, and abstract while vocaloids garble lyrics and sing along with next to no emotion. Sign does carry his trademark "child-like imagination" and "innocent playful" sound.
The video is a story about a robot and some various creatures trying to take back their area from a factory. Sign shows a real life problem but set in a fantasy sci-fi world. There is
...
a surprising amount of violence, blood, nudity, and sexual acts. Totally didn't expect the video to be like that all, but that's not necessarily a bad thing it's good to be surprised. I will be honest the art and animation does not stand up to the excellent music. The animation is not very fluent and elaborate. Some of the characters are also downright scary looking. The shading looks very odd as well and is a bit off putting.
If you enjoy the genres I listed above then I highly recommend you check this out.

Didn't see a review for this so i decided to write one.
08.04 AM Daydream is a yuri hentai one shot within the genre of Chikan that consists of 16 pages. For those who don't know chikan is molestation on trains. The synopsis keeps that fact hidden but I should've guessed from the title and the late for school part. Anyways I'm not into chikan at all so I won't delve to much into that because I'll end up just being biased.
You have the two main characters, Eri, a kind of plain looking girl, and Shino who looks like a total tsundere. The art in
...
it is ok but I do have some issues with it. Sometimes their stuff looks like you stuck an invisible cylinder in there and sometimes it looks like maggots are crawling out. I don't know about you but I don't like that. There is absolutely zero build up to the h scenes they pretty much jump right in, another thing I dislike. I feel this one shot was somehow really graphic and not graphic at the same time. It's definitely nowhere near the level of some other stuff out there. Personally things can easily get too graphic for me, and this is one of them. I didn't like the whole chikan thing, only some panels I liked if I ignored the chikan thing, and just when it gets good it ends.

I did not see a review on this so I decided to write one.
I literally watched this just to kill time while waiting for stuff so I was not exactly going into this with high expectations. As you know Handsome Girl is a one episode shoujo OVA from the early 90s. The art has that 90s anime fuzzy look to it and dull audio quality, but this may just be Youtube. I actually like that about 90s anime but some may think that's distracting/off putting. I like how the scenery looks, painted backgrounds with ferns and such. I personally think the picture MAL currently has
...
for this looks really dope. But they look rather derpy and low budget typical shoujo style in the actual show. I liked some of the background music, it sounded like sped up vaporwave.
The story in this OVA was really rushed and mashed together without properly explaining things. I feel this OVA would have been better if they had at least four episodes or hell two episodes to organize and pace the story better. In the mere 37 minutes they were not able to have any real character development and I didn't feel anything for the characters when stuff goes wrong/well. Handsome Girl does have a story tho and if you don't mind it flying at the speed of a motorcycle with malfunctioning brakes then you may actually enjoy it. I've actually seen people really enjoy it saying such stuff as "Omg I'm in love with this ova :)" It's only 37 minutes so it's not the end of the world if you end up disliking it and it makes a quick addition to your completed.
Overall I give it a 4/10 I feel my time would have passed quicker watching a pot of water on the stove.
