Out of all the anime this season, I'm definitely enjoying Sakamoto Days the most, to the point where I picked up the manga. Not your typical shounen and I initially assumed it was going to be fluffy, but the action definitely hits harder. I'm not typically an action gal, but I love it so much when the hype is properly built by storytelling.
I also originally got into anime with whatever was on the international cable network in the 2000s, so it was quite casual watching with a few shows that are more targeted to the younger audience and ofc ghibili movies. It wasn't until 10 years ago, when my cousin was really obsessed with Fairy Tail that she tried to get me to know there are more types of anime. And then I started watching different shows that were uploaded for free on YouTube, i miss those days xD

You seem to be very active in watching this seasonal release, did anything surprise you? I'm also always glad to see a fellow 86 enjoyer! Also if you don't mind me asking, how did you find me?
I was then got into D.Gray-man and that was it for me i literally fell in love.
And also 86 was a complete rollercoaster for me. I wasn't normally very into mecha/military setting but i got hooked and after that i started reading 86 light novel, it was my first.
How about you? What got you into it?
