Chainsaw man is the most entertaining manga i have ever read in my entire life. Fujimoto is a huge movie nerd which is probably why he is one of the few mangaka that give emphasis on 'show, dont tell' visual storytelling which i really appreciate. The fight scenes dont have any form of exposition , too much talking or overly extra dialogue. Nothing makes my eyes glaze over faster than a character bringing up a wikipedia page and lore dumping on the main characters. Not explaining every minor detail to the audience is not bad writing, its simply respecting the reader/viewers time and intelligence(although this ... is probably one of the reasons for reading comprehension among csm fans lol). Fujimoto has explicitly said in an interview that he does not treat his audience as idiots. The paneling in chainsaw man feels like a movie, very fun and creative. The dialogue is also funny and creative. The characters are witty, relatable and feel very human. They are also very casual with each other. The fight scenes are well drawn. Mappa did this manga dirty by animating only 12 episodes. Most readers agree that katana man arc is the weakest part of the manga, the reze aka bomb girl arc is truly when csm starts to shine. The arcs after that such as control devil, gun devil, the concept of hell, international assassination etc are all fantastic!

One of the best shonen anime i have seen

Plot: It has a great story and not just a typical power fantasy. Mob is an overpowered psychic but none of his real life problems are solved because of his powers. He has to work hard himself. This show implies that having supernatural powers do not make mob special, furthermore its okay to not be special. "If everyone is not special, you can be what you want to be"

Characters: Mob and reigen have great character development and chemistry. Side characters and villians in this anime are great as well

Animation: Movie quality animation throughout all 3 seasons. I ... think the art style of this show helps a lot as well, they focus on other stuff instead of spending their entire budget on just hair and eye details. Wish more anime did this

Great music and overall a very good show. Ending is great as well

One of the most hype and motivational show i have ever seen. This show is the definition of optimistic and indomitable human spirit

Plot: It has a great story. The robots keep getting bigger, it just doesn't stop

Characters: My favourite character was kamina initially because of how confident and badass he is but simon has a great character development and takes the cake by the end of the series, we can conclude that simon has fulfilled kamina's legacy. Yoko, nia and viral are also great characters

This show also has great animation and music, ahead of its time

Overall: Great show

This show is really boring

Plot: 86 tries to be deep and profound but is actually as shallow as a puddle. Its not entertaining and captivating at all. Theres also too much talking and exposition which are completely irrelevant to the plot

Characters: Honestly speaking, i do not care for any of the characters in the show except lena and anju. Lena is cute and i like anju because of her va. Shin is too edgy and stoic for my liking. The author tried too hard to make him cool and badass but he is just cringe. The side characters are very generic and forgettable. I didnt ... feel anything at their death and backstory

Animation: The animation of this show is great. The fight scenes are great in terms of animation but lack depth and emotion. Shin fights some robots called legion and its really boring. Theres no strategy involved and we are not shown villian perspectives. It fails to captivate the audience

Music: Great music

Overall: Great show to watch it you want to fall asleep

Peak fiction!

Plot: Great and compelling story. There is not a single boring moment in the show, all 12 episodes are entertaining all the way through

Characters: This is the best part of the show in my opinion. Every single character is likeable and have their own unique personality and gimmick. There is also not a single bland character. Bocchi is an amazing protagonist who represents socially awkward and introverted people in a non-cringe way

Animation: Cleverworks really put their heart and soul into the show. The art direction and backgrounds are amazing. Btr manga is by no means bad but the adaption elevated it way above ... and beyond. Keiichiro Saito really directed banger shows like btr and frieren back to back. I also love the occasional shitposts and 3d models in the show

Music: The kessoku band concert in the last episode is amazing. Great op and ed too

Overall: Great slice of life/seinen. This show, Yuru camp, non non biyori, k-on etc prove that seinen anime donot have to be edgy and dark to be good

Great anime which can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their age or gender.

Plot: Even the most simple and generic plot can be a masterpiece if its well executed. Frieren has a simple slice of life-ish plot with some action here and there but its execution is amazing. The fantasy world makes it even better

Characters: This is the best part of the show in my opinion. Each and every character in this show is fleshed out, likeable and has their own unique personality. Theres not a single character in this show I hate, even the villains. I have read the manga a bit ... and macht is an amazing villian

Animation: Some of the best visuals I have ever seen in anime. I like how its not a melodramatic like violet evergarden which focuses on each and every movement. The fluidity of fight scenes are great and clothing/hair animation is amazing as well

Music: Evan call. Thats all I gotta say

Overall: Great show that deserves to be on the top of mal in my opinion, as long as we get new seasons. El Dorado arc with this level of production value will be amazing
