Hope you don't mind me posting here since someone locked your thread right as i was posting (just my luck xD)

For me, it would be steins gate and jujutsu kaisen. Steins gate was really slow and boring. I watched the entire anime because people keep saying it gets better after a certain episode but it was really underwhelming. It did not tingle my dopamine receptors like for example death note did. The plot twists and climax got me like, "is this it? is this supposed to be entertaining and profound?"

And jujutsu kaisen is just fighting every episode without any substance

Though i do think the anime you menntioned do have their flaws i did really enjoy both of them

As for which popular/acclaimed anime i don't get the hype about

- Cowboy Bebop
As far as i've watched it seems vert style over substence

- Evangelion
Really good concept but poorly executed imo

- Kaguya-sama
I find her very unlikeable

- Made In Abyss
This anime requires a barf bag to watch

- Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu
Terrible pacing

- Monster
Slightly better than the anime above, but still don't get it

This is the highest rated Donghua (at least on MAL) and i don't get why, the concept is good, but the way it's presented feels so repetitive
