Both holding true to the drama genre that depict the tireless and strained industry behind Japanese Idols. The harsh realities they face from presenting their 'talent' or overall 'worth' within a highly competitive business, as well as the intense social pressures by audiences, talent agencies and obsessive fans. While both anime tackle these issues differently, they both strive for realistic choices, and shine light on an corrupt industry.

Both of these manga have incredible character development and outstanding art styles in their own right. They are similar in the sense of unity between characters, each set in a standard high-school premise, they bridge emotional gaps and truly aim to help and better understand one another. No characters are left out or used to fill in blank spaces, they each have unique drives and goals. Ultimately, readers can feel the impacts these characters have on one another and how much they unconditionally care. Both manga are still releasing new chapters! So excited to see how each of these stories unfold!
