Actually, it was pretty fun! Like, it's literally one of the fewer shows that has a complete "revenge" trope, which doesn't have a half-assed ending to it. Also, it kinda reminds me of Elfen Lied, because all the annoying smug guys get wiped out pretty quickly without getting a chance to get on the viewer's nerves too much.
The animation quality is good, the character design is decent. The soundtrack is also pretty good, however the opening theme felt a bit weak in dynamics for this kind of god-knows-what-happens-next kind of isekai. The ending, though, is really good.
Animation – 8/10
Story – 6/10
Music – 7/10
Character design –

Overall – 7/10

Right off the bat:
Animation – 10/10 (guys, just teach me how to use Maya like that, damn...)
Music – 6/10 (well, it's not bad)
Story – 2/10 (very typical but if that was the case I would've given it a 4 or 5; however, in this case it pretends to be super serious and becomes pure cringe)
Overall – 5/10
Ok, so the MC, Will. Will, will Will will Will Will's will? Anyway... Kind of like the guy from Mashle but at least he has a positive IQ. But in exchange for his positive IQ he's a crybaby, and yet the strongest student physically. How does that work? Don't
...
even ask me, jeez. So he can defeat a freaking SS-rank monster (speaking in the MMO terminology) but can't give a good beating to some of his "friends" so that they stop fucking around with him. Why? Oh, that's because he's K__I__N__D. His heart is bigger that your M... Actually, no, nothing can compete with that, you're right.
The teachers at the academy are annoying af, but that's kind of realistic, I guess, at least for me, because in my country you can only be on good terms with your university teachers if you bribe them (or if you're female – do some "pillow job", so to speak). Thefore, respect for realism.
Every student around Will just seems to pay too much attention to him – if he's as useless as you claim, then why don't you just leave him alone? All his so-called "friends" are also very stereotypical: there's a guy who's all high-and-mighty because he thinks he's cool, there's another guy who's a hothead and always wants to fight with the MC (oh, god, that's why I don't like Shounen, bruh), then there's are girl who is in love with the MC and nobody knows why, let alone explains it somehow. And, finally there's his roommate who is indeed a REAL MAN, and together they could do some REAL MEN'S STUFF, but unfortunately the MC seems to be into girls. Oh, wowsers, zomg teh drama.
When I was watching it, I was skipping some parts because I was like: "Yeah, I know where this is going. Ok, skip, skip..."

Watching a show about "a cute Russian girl" (I know she's ハーフ (hafu), now what?) when you're living in the Donbas under you-know-whose jurisdiction for over 2 years is not funny at all, so this review will be filled with personal bias.
Ok, I don't think I have to explain that Russian girls can be pretty looking but are far away from being cute – I mean, they can meow in the Discord VC, but does that make them cute? However, this is an anime – a fictional story, so we'll ignore that fact for now.
It's said that Kuze used to watch Russian movies with his
...
grandpa. Well, there's an average Brat 2/Zhmurki/Brigada/Bumer enjoyer for you, huh? Honestly, I don't know how that works, because literally nobody cares about Russian movies except for the Russians themselves, the countries under the Russian influence (the empire just won't give up, you know), those sects from the West who are fond of the USSR and communism (wanna come and try living in the DPR, guys?), a bunch of Koreans who happen to have Russian in their school program, and a bunch of Chinese who have gotten tired of living under the supervision of Big Daddy Xi. Oh, yeah, I know there's one Japanese dude on YouTube who speaks decent Russian, and then there was that ballerina girl who became friends with Slava Marlov and Morgenshtern... But apart from them – who would wanna learn Russian in Japan? Come on...
Now, since the following paragraph basically illustrates the actual state of affairs in Japan in regard to the Russian language abilities and comprehension, the voice acting when they tried to speak Russian was... Well, they tried. Good job but I didn't understand a single word on the first try and relied on the Japanese subs instead. Also, can someone tell them that Russians usually insert a swear every 2-3 words in a sentence? That's the best case scenario, actually, because some dudes can have their sentences made up of swears exclusively (yeah, that's me). Honestly, I don't care much about their linguistic abilities since I'm also bad at speaking Japanese, so, yeah, whatever...
Animation – great, very vivid, nice character design, nice AMV-style endings. (8/10)
Soundtrack – not of a fan of it but objectively it's not bad. (5/10 personally, 7.5/10 objectively)
Story – a typical ラブコメ (romcom) story, nothing too special (5/10)
Voice acting – if we exclude the cringy Russian parts it's ok but nothing too special (5.5/10)
Openings/endings – not bad, especially the endings (yeah, nice job editing that text in After Effects, guys) (7/10)
Final verdict – 6/10 objectively, 4/10 subjectively.
I wanna write something cheesy in the end but the FSB's gonna send me to the basement if I do that :(

To be fair, watching this anime can be compared to listening to DragonForce – if the mood is right, it's perfect. So goes for me. While everybody is bitching about the MC, I find him pretty cool because you don't often see a guy who's so hesitant (in terms of relationships and such), yet willing to spend so much money (calm down bro, you won't be able to do your monthly mortgage payment at the end...), which is both hilarious yet fun. 10/10 for me, haven't read the manga, enjoying the anime, you should try too.
The downsides on the other hand would be:
1) Sometimes, there's
...
a lot of text on the screen so you have to pause the video to read the subtitles (not that it's a problem, but the pace itself is quite flashy). This includes emotions indication text, text on signs and phone messages text. It's not as annoying as in the Monogatari series, but still it's present here. Gives those kinds of epileptic vibes.
2) Also some mild nudity is present, which leads me to a question: "How can this be rated as PG-13?".
3) As in every shitcom (not that it's something bad though), from times to times some lo-fi art (sketches rather) will be encountered thoughout the anime. They're probably done just to emphasize the situation which occured beforehand but I am personally not a big fan of such lo-fi artwork style.

It has a decent drawing for a retro anime and has quite a few funny moments as well. It's black and white and there's no sound but those are compensated with an interesting storyline.
English subbed video you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOzUkY5DrQU
As it's based on a Japanese folk tale it should have some sort of a moral and should be teaching you a lesson. This one doesn't, but that's what makes this story more saucy than others. Small spoiler: failure followed by a betrayal.
I liked it a lot and if you are looking for retro Japanese animation, then you should watch this one!
