First of all, I would like to inform anyone reading this about that my score is only set to 5/10 to keep things neutral. I do not belive in giving a show a true score unless I have seen it all and as such I will also treat this review more like a "First impressions" review more than a "complete" review and with that, debunk a lot of what people just instantly toss s*** at this show for in order to showcase that this show is better than what haters say.
1: The MC and why he is not just another Cup of Joe.
Like 95% of
...
all anime series of the Isekai type, the MC dies and is sendt of to a new world. And he becomes OP, gets all the girls and saves the day. The End. BUT WAIT. There is more!
MC hasn't just been killed or died in some comedy sketch accident like in Konosuba, it was a GENUINE MISTAKE done by God himself and as such he does the RIGHT THING and allows the Kid a new life.
- Why not just let him come back to life on earth? -
If you need to ask this question then please. Leave MAL and the Anime community, please. You are exiled. For like, forever.
So as this was Gods fault, he allows MC to come back to life in a new world WHILE GIVING HIM A BOOST. That's right. No "Child of the prophecy" No "The Chosen one" No "It was foretold in the legends" The Kid just gets a boost by God himself since said God MISTAKENLY killed him and want's to make amends because it was a MISTAKE. This of course makes the MC as OP as any other MC, but to see one just GET the powers from the big man in the sky rather than some freakshow of "You need to pass this test of strength" and he / she just does so by a random a**pull - It was a breath of fresh air.
Point is: MC is strong and wins the day for a GENUINE reason thanks to powers handed to him by GOD HIMSELF. No of that usual bulls*** about "The Chosen one just nailing it all since he is the Chosen one" - MC Is strong for a legit reason.
2: All the girls will fall for the MC. (A spoiler from Episode 4 in this section)
Well here's the deal, why would they not. And in this shows case, there is plenty of reason. In many shows the girls just falls for the MC because he is the MC. He does all the work, looks cool and acts like a di*k. That s*** is alpha and therefore all the girls wants him. This show however smacks you over by giving good reasons as to why the girls WOULD like the MC. He is kind, he possesses strong powers which is a MYSTERIOUS case, not just a "Of course he does, he is the Chosen one" and he tries his best to make things better for anyone. Of course you would wan't a person like that. It's basic human thinking unlike just wanting someone since they are Alpha.
But wait, there's more again: MC does not look at all these girls like possible partners, he looks at them like party members who he can get guild work done with, WHICH IS WHAT HE SHOULD DO. Sure sometimes a blush happens here and there but having that happen due to a LEGITIMATE INTEREST sure is better than a bunch of girls just wanting to mount a MC from the distance since he is to good for that s***.
Sure the latest episode 4 had him get "engaged" in some way, but they way it was done, the reasoning behind it AND the rest of his party's reaction as all TENFOLDS better than the usual "Oh by the way my bunch of harem girls, I decided to like number 6 more than the rest in this episode" - causing them all to lose their collective s***.
Point is: All the girls have so far shown affection toward MC for legit reasons, yet they all have yet to try and ride his d*** like so many others does WITHOUT having a reason other than "He's so Alpha / Edgy / MC"
3: The show does not give you any bulls*** YET it has down-sides.
So far the show has been exactly what it needs to be and gives out to be, a middle of the road Isekai popcorn show that I for one find funny. It's not something I would INSTANTLY recommend to anyone due to some of the shows lackluster parts. What I like the least about the show is actually it's animation quality which INSTANTLY turns a lot of people off, and I get that. The shows humor is vert selective and as such, won't appeal to a broad audience, but besides that the show gives you exactly what you would expect and is by that metric worth the "Seasonal watch" in my book.
Overall, I am pretty sure I will finish this show and while I most likely will end up with a score close to 5/10, that is still watchable and better than a deal of other series this season has to offer.

What do you get when Trigger asks Michael Bay to direct a Japanese version of Aqua Teen Hunger Force but with more plot and less disgust? I'll tell you what you get - You get motherf***ing Ninja Slayer!
Time for a review and let's start with a summary.
Overall: 6
Ninja Slayer from Animation is a anime that I think only the special kind would enjoy, with it's plot-line being just fine, art like a car crash, sound and music that is decent enough, characters that you somewhat grow fond of over time and tons of YEEART, ARRGH and SAYONARA! So let's break this up -
Story: 6
Ninja Slayer's
...
story is among those that is so regular these days that you can't really bash them for being overused. Main character has had some kind of loss and thus seeks vengeance by kicking everyone's sorry a** til he reaches the head of them all and gives him the boot as well. Yet it's the way Ninja Slayer presented / introduced us to the plot and made it go along the line that made it better than the "usual" way this sort of plot is presented.
Ninja Slayer's story gets a 6 at the end of the day, a rank worthy of "Well presented average"
Art: 3
This is a mess, an absolute total mess without remorse, this was the only aspect that had me almost dropping the show but I figured it's not 100% CGI Crap nor is it colorless paper flatness all the way and thus I can't give it a lower rating - And the show kept me entertained to a certain degree so the art at the end of the day didn't ruin the show, it just brought it down by a ton. Yet I assume this is what's suppose to be some of the "beauty" around Ninja Slayer, but I for one can't say that art style like this train wreck can be considered good.
The art of Ninja Slayer gets a solid 3 and well so that.
Sound: 6
I personally liked the soundtracks for Ninja Slayer although it was not many of them. They suited the mood and scenery just fine pretty much all the time, and so did all other background sounds. In the long run some of it might have been a tad repetitive but it was not bad. And besides that there is not much more to say about the sound.
Music, sounds and whatnot from Ninja Slayer scores a 6.
Characters: 5
So many, some of them short lived, others a mystery til series end, some lovable, others simply annoying and the last set was there with us til the end and became someone I could enjoy watching in action. Ninja Slayers issue was that all the enemy ninjas became a bit un-creative eventually and that made some of the characteristics lose it's glance. And most of them died off before we even could start properly: Once again - Most likely part of the shows "beauty" but that didn't strike the nail on the head for me. Yet those we followed from start to end of mid to end like Ninja Slayer and Nancy winded up as likable main characters which is important.
Ninja Slayer and it's crew gets a high 5.
Enjoyment 5:
At the end of the day, Ninja Slayer was not the anime I JUMPED to watch, yet I didn't let one entire week go by without making sure I watched the most recent episode. Ninja Slayer had a certain zing to it that made it fun to watch yet it was not tip top. It was average, just in the middle line and because of that I wont rank it higher nor lower.
The enjoyment for watching Ninja Slayer gets a 5.
And that concludes the review of Ninja Slayer with and overall rating of 6! Wait... What do you mean I should rate it higher? Who even are you? Wait?! What?! *YEEART!* AARGH! SAYONARA!
- Low rating reviewer's must perish!

In order for people reading this review, to get a fully fledged understanding of my relation with this anime - I will here quote my first words upon just completing the last episode.
"Well that was f***ing dreadful*
And thus, let the review begin:
First of a short "summary" - Sky Wizards Academy appeared to me when I watched it's first episode only 10 minutes after HD release as something I actually had been looking forward to, the synopsis for the anime seemed rather promising and thus I had high hopes. Hopes that by the first episode was absolutely demolished beyond repair, yet to write a proper review
...
without having seen all episodes is unfair to the series and it's creator(s) so I pulled myself trough the remaining of this car crash so I could leave this entry without feeling bad or speaking without having seen all that the anime had to offer.
Sky Wizards Academy also became "hard" to judge - as it was not one of these 3-5 min skit animes nor one of the 10 min short's - I feel obliged to give it a full and most proper review rather than "It was bad but made me giggle here and there so it gets 5/10" like a 3-5 min skit anime could.
So let's break this into the different aspects, starting with the story -
- Story: The story of Sky Wizards Academy was most likely the thing about this anime that STARTED of as the best element they had. Now it's not to stick under a chair that the main story line was cliche:
"Earth destroyed by *Insert said thing here* (Devil Beetles)"
"Humanity retreats to a city / cities in the sky for safety reasons"
"Some Humans are born with the strength to fight said *Insert said thing here* - and thus named Sky wizards"
"We are following one team in particular that struggles with that they can't get along properly and that they all seem horrible at what they should be doing"
"In comes random hero from sometime in history and teaches them how to be better"
"The team does not like him, then they do, then they hate him, then they don't"
It's nothing new but it's not BAD either if portrayed the right way with the right characters - Which is exactly what Sky Wizards Academy managed to screw up so badly. But let's not head to the characters just yet - back to the story:
So with a story that ALL ALONE and BY ITSELF would be more than fine for a season, you know - some more time into each aspect of training, team VS teacher" and so on, but then they HAD to go on and bring in the most ridiculous "side story" ever seen before my eyes and then go on and make THAT the main part of the anime. No one EVER want's to see a story starting to revolt around some creepy stalker of a geezer that takes to "desperate measures" to obtain his love, I mean come on. That ALONE ruined this anime and I can with certainty say that this anime would have been way better of if it didn't ever introduce us to creepy stalker guy.
And WORST of all, the whole "Traitor" aspect. We got introduced to it: "Oh he is a traitor"but it wasn't even HINTED to WHY, HOW or WHEN, this made for a bunch of characters ALL over the place bringing the mood down as they all seemed salty over something we never got EXPLAINED. Sure the last episode gave a CLUE but never was there a sturdy answer to said "Why. how and when"
Story: 2/10 for piss poor performance and execution.
- Art: Where do I even start, I might was well pick out the only few positive aspects as they can be counted on my one hand - majorly the art here was terrible. The phasing was rather way to slow or way to fast, the character's didn't look lively at all or seemed as if they tried to hard in looking alive, the CGI with the Devil Beetles was so bad it had me tearing my hair out - and the combat scenes was just horrible beyond imagination or at worst: CGI animated. And when they first managed to get things looking good, it was on idle side characters or frozen frames of the main characters doing nothing - in addition a great deal of the art was bland, focused on the wrong aspects and worst of all - so poorly made that they just made the "main focus" of the shot a small detail in the corner and seemingly aiming for that people would look on the "pretty" background instead.
Art: 2/10 - Since a 1 would only be in store had the full thing been in Devil Beetle CGI style.
- Sound: The most positive aspect all in all in the middle of this total wreck, I did not find the songs played in the background to be bad nor good, they managed to make it suit most scenes and the mood in general. A few hiccups here and there, specially with that "ping" sound they seem to love. but other than that the sound department did their job and should be rewarded for bringing SOME decency in the middle of all the other chaos.
Sound: 4/10 - It was part of what kept me going in the long run.
- Characters: My first thought after meeting the main crew of 4 was as split into two halves.
1: Oh lord I am already hating these girls and I am sure that they will haunt my dreams.
2: At least Kirito is here to make me smile as he usually does his job well and seems to be a carefree character, which might just keep me tuned.
And this divided train of thought was SPOT on. I spent the remainders of the anime in agony, watching what could have been awesome and lovable characters appear to me as some of the most annoying and obnoxious set people ever seen in the world of anime. I even had my girlfriend next to me for about 20% of the total run time of this anime, she could not hear it, only read the texting and even SHE found them so bad it was making her sick - That right there is a message when only 20% run time of characters you can't even HEAR makes you cringe.
THANKFULLY - Kirito, I mean Kanata, was there all along as a carefree, funny bastard that made me smile when things was going down. doing a splendid job on holding me alive as I watched trough this series.
Characters: 3/10 - You keep em smiling Kirito.
- Enjoyment: This is where things got scary, I pained myself trough each episode with the final goal of it all being to deliver a crushing blow to it all, setting fire to the car wreck, salting the wound, I was looking forward to that during this entire animes run time. While doing so I decided to play a bit "Cinema Sins" of YouTube and pointed out everything wrong in each episode and this helper on the overall enjoyment as well, making me still notice all the horrible part but still being able to enjoy it.
Enjoyment: 3/10 - Finding mistakes has never been more fun. But that still does not make it a good thing to be honest.
To finish this all - I would like to say that this is not an anime I recommend at all, you want to avoid watching this like the plague if you know what's better for you.
And that's it for my review on Sky Wizards Academy, thank you all so much for reading and most of all - For your time. If a season two for this ever is announced you can be damn sure I will suffer myself trough that one as well since delivering hammers like this is something I could live and die for.
Total score roundup - 3/10.

Alright - Having completed this great piece of Anime, I feel it's time for a review.
Right of the bat Rokka no Yuusha approached as solid anime for the Summer 2015 collection with episode 1 already leaving me in the wait for episode two with what was the start of a good story line, art which i found to be nice, music and an overall ambiance that suited well, characters that was lovable. So let's break this into individual segments:
- Story: Great - Not much more to say if you had to give it one word. Great suits Rokka no Yuusha's story as it is in
...
no way original but the way they presented was glorious, and you kind of forgot how "straight forward" the story was in the middle all the tension this anime left you with for each episode after the middle segment. All in all the "uncertainty between peoples when there's one more than it should be" can seem flat-line, but not when executed like it has been done here. And then ONTOP of this - what that became the whole plot summary for this season, we still got the full story-line behind and in front us of regarding the original objective of the Braves.
The story for Rokka no Yuusha get's a 8/10.
- Art: Lovely, with all the different types of anime these days - breaking them apart eventually becomes difficult for certain people (Looking away from those who has gone over the edge to make a own special style) and in no way was the art of Rokka no Yuusha MINDBLOWING, but it was not this boring, dimmed down, bad colored type either. The art was just fine and lived up to the atmosphere that the anime gave us, remaining colorful and beautiful while at the same time having this grey stone strike here and there to remind us of the situation our heroes here are trapped within. A work of perfection presented in a decent manner.
Art style: 7/10.
- Sound: Oh the sounds, the music and the general layer of what they put in the background of this anime was part of what made it so great - Making sure that they properly match the music with the scenery (Which sounds weird to point out but they amount of animes I've seen f*** that up is mindblowing) and everything in the background during the slow and silent segments, it all created this passive atmosphere that followed me all the way from the first episode to the last, and it did a great job in doing so.
Sound: 7/10.
- Characters: How I loved them all, or well - Most of them. The crew of Rokka no Yuusha was put together in a great manner, it is not each day I see a team of seven people in this style of situation - that either goes along or fight's to death and still manages to maintain their individual characteristic foundation. Rokka no Yuusha delivered more than plenty in terms of characters, making them unique in such individual ways while still not going over the edge while doing so - and at the same time give some of them development traits that in no way damaged the show itself. I was taken away by all seven of them and that for a damn good reason.
Character(s): 9/10.
Enjoyment and the overall: If it has not been clear until now - I have absolutely loved this show. So much that it pains me to the bone knowing that the season is already over and that we don't ALREADY have a season two confirmed (As of this entry) scares me. A great anime with some of the better characters I have seen - not only in the year of 2015's anime round up but overall across the different anime's I have had the joy of watching, great art and beautiful music - Rokka no Yuusha is a work of greatness that everyone should see and I absolutely recommend anyone reading this to give this anime a go if you already haven't.
Enjoyment: 9/10.
That's it for my review, fingers crossed for a season two - thank you so much for reading and have a great time watching anime:
Total score roundup: 8/10.

Warning: The following review will contain sarcasm to a certain degree, be 100% Subjective and focused on the Anime, and will be ignoring any Manga or Light Novel related "cannon" material if the Anime is based of one.
Story: Now I felt that the story here was great, I loved what the plot in the start based itself around and what it came to chase and how it was portrayed. To me it was new, exciting and as mentioned above: I could relate to it as something this world would not take harm of having - a organisation that cleans out what we don't
...
need more of / at all. Although I feel that the story drifted a bit towards the end - they still kept true to the main "goal" which is nice although a CERTAIN episode which I had looked forward too for some weeks since it's start let me in a bit of disappointment as Mr Steam winded up stealing the show and making the plot seem irrelevant compared to the "service" at display - a true bummer. To have a Anime with a story that hits me SO good but to have it "leave" in such a manner really knocks me down.
~ Story: 5 ~
Art: There is little to say about art these days, which a few exceptions of course but Triage X had nothing that was MIND blowing but not bad either, I personally thought this art style was great and didn't mind the few bits of CGI which was displayed as they made it blend in better than what I have seen other animes manage to display - Yet, suffice to say I am not that much of a fan seeing the MAIN character have SUCH an expression: it was made up for once I learned what he had been trough, I also think I'd be left with a permanent face like that if it was the case.
~ Art: 7 ~
Sound: I don't judge this part as I am not the type of person to pick on sounds nor music, all I really care for is if the MAIN theme song (Intro song) and the "highlight" song (Example: The one played off when the MC is about to kick some a**) is alright. And sounds otherwise, I will point it out should something REALLY be off but in this anime I didn't find anything in particular.
~ Sound: ?? ~
Character(s): Oh yes! Most likely what I enjoyed the most about this anime besides the plot: the characters! Like so many other of my favorite animes I feel that Triage X did a good job melding together all these different personalities and looking characters in a mix that winded up leaving me with a gang of people which made me smile, laugh, cry, grit my teeth, drool and much more. That is what I WANT from a anime, personalities that -ALTHOUGH nothing can be called 100% original anymore: they make it feel so due to WHO they are, HOW they are put together and WHAT they make of it, good work done here in my opinion.
~ Character(s): 7 ~
Enjoyment: Did I enjoy Triage X? Yes. Why did I? Simple: when you take all of the posts above and mix it together, you get the type of anime I appreciate despite its flaws - where one here might have been "big" to a certain degree, I can look over that for everything else. And would I RECOMMEND anyone to watch Triage X? If you like action, some story here and there, a aggressive plot with characters like shown here: then yes. I would recommend it for those out there that might have missed out this tiny gem.
~ Enjoyment 7 ~
Overall: Triage X came off to me to begin with as a action filled Anime of which you don't see the likes off all the time. One with content that needed to be censored upon release which was not just ONLY erotic material and that had a story-line / a plot which might as well could have been based on something we need to do in this world - Removing the tumors of society: this was something I loved and it grasped a hold of me and made sure I held out til the very end - which I was a bit sad to see that only was 10 episodes. It has what a good Anime in my eyes need - Action, alright Music, Art which is acceptable, characters that I feel match together in a functional way and of course: some fan-service. Triage X is a anime that will make you wonder what you are watching if you are not into this style of anime, but for those who likes this style - They are inn for a great 10 episode anime which will leave them taking a long walk down the local main road.
~ Overall: 7 ~
