SPOILER-FREE ANIME REVIEW
What a year it has been. We've seen Mushoku Tensei's promising story with its astounding world-building and the determination of characters to continue their journey. Jobless Reincarnation is one of (if not the most) immersive Isekai in the media. It is one of the Best and Popular Light Novels for a reason, even has its own language system which isn't just a random Japanese vocabulary modified. Though it's divided into 2 cours, we've managed to witness the greatness this Isekai has to offer, One of the Best First Seasons in all Anime, and not just a candidate, but undoubtedly the Anime of The

Year.
Note:
Assuming the reader of this had already seen the First Cour, There isn't much about to explain for that part. I've also reviewed the previous part in the same manner so This Review is focused entirely on the Second Cour.
Story:
After they've been transported to the Demon Continent caused by the Mana Calamity along with Ruijerd, They formed a party named "Dead End" to take adventurer jobs to get some money for their travel. They've realized they don't have enough funds to make travel on Milis Continent. While they're stuck in the central, Rudeus has been told by the Human God to do something. And by helping a beggar survive starvation, He was rewarded with a Foresight Eye, as that person he saved is the Demon Continent's Great Empress. Little they didn't know Roxy is actually on the Demon Continent at that time with Paul's "Fangs of the Black Wolf" Party members.
The Anime managed to keep the pace from the previous cour and its source material, we saw the time skips in this particular part didn't show that often. As it's essential to have an emotional attachment to the show's characters. In the last episodes, we've seen the 2nd Turning Point of the show and what happened after that. Which greatly impacted what's going to happen on Rudeus' journey in Another World.

Art/Animation:
We know Studio Bind is been purposely founded to produce Mushoku Tensei's Anime and they didn't disappoint the watchers. It's what the fans want. Detailed on every aspect of the show except they made some improvements from the first part (Animation, Character Designs, Visuals) making it more immersive and straight to the point. What an amazing adaptation.

Sound/Voice Acting:
Props again to the Staff of Studio Bind. Whenever an original soundtrack plays, it'll give you the feeling of the world in the Story that's being shown to us. It gives this captivating vibe how these tracks were composed and can set things up according to the situation. Bind also did not remove the unique thing they do when the opening song plays. They keep on showing the part where the characters are going while the music keeps on playing. What I'm amazed about is how this specific show had the Voice Actors learn an actual another language just specifically for this Anime. The fact that there is technically 3 kind of this Language included show us how voice acting isn't just what these professional actors can do. As the characters grow and interact more with others, VAs are stepping up their performance to greatly fill the role for their characters. Applicable to every anime out there and Mushoku Tensei's voice actors definitely showed us the emotional side of the characters.

Characters:
Dead End members' characters are explored deeply in this second part. Rudeus is actually more likable now and Eris already lost her something.. (ahem..) I mean her rude attitude towards Rudeus, growing her soft side with him as both of them grow building up great chemistry. Ruijerd, a member of Superd Clan and a Commander of Superd Warriors who agreed to accompany them and travel to return on Fittoa Region at the Asura Kingdom. The Demon Continent Empress that gifts Rudeus an Eye with the Ability to foresee things is named Kishirika Kishirisu. A little girl with horns and eyes with different colors that can change color with her various Demon Eyes. Eris is now helping to find Rudeus' family as she formed a party together with Paul's former party members Elinalise Dragonroad, a Beautiful Elf, but Erotic and Lustful woman due to her curse, and Talhand, a small, long-bearded dwarf who likes to drink a lot.
There are much more characters introduced but since this is a spoiler-free review It's not possible. The growth of the characters and the bond they make throughout their journey in this part is just great. These main characters focused in this entire part make up for the lack of other characters' screentime.

Enjoyment:
As I've said in my previous review, it is capable of being the Anime of the Year and oh boy, It definitely is the pick in 2021. I'm amazed by how this show can be better for the next seasons. The Focus on world-building in this show is unsurprisingly great. It presents an Isekai differently. A way that reflects a reincarnation gives you the chance to have a second chance and do better in your next life. It's not all about coolness, how overpowered a protagonist should be, or never making bad decisions. Rudeus is a former human on Earth that suffered from bullying. A NEET who makes mistakes just like a normal person, and still lives in their parent's house. Someone who gave up on their life and decided to at least be helpful at the last minute. I am not a fan of the ecchi genre in general but the fanservice or perviness in this show doesn't affect that much thanks to its amazing story. It's just a subjective manner whether you'll dislike the show for its little bit provocative side or stick with it as long as it doesn't really do anything to ruin the view of what the show is presenting to us.

SPOILER-FREE ANIME REVIEW
Yoshitoki-san's recent Manga, Fumetsu no Anata e is by far one of the "Anime of The Year" candidates for me, along with Mushoku Tensei. Though it hasn't got much popularity as the other animes this year. It provides a good supernatural story that's sure will become more interesting as the show continues. Story: As the title says 「不滅」, It's about an Immortal being in a form of an orb-like thing that's unknown aside that it can take the shape of something. A creature without an instinct nor personality. It landed on a stone and take its form as an actual copy. As time passes by ... Mar 21, 2021
SPOILER-FREE ANIME REVIEW
Mushoku Tensei's been famous for its concept of being reincarnated to another world by the death from truck hence giving birth to truck-kun reincarnation. And Since Winter 2021 has way more Isekai aired this season it's been really popular even just after receiving it's anime debut. Here's a thing tho. This Anime's really not for everyone as many could literally tell from the viewers' perspective. Story: A Loser neet who's been addict on playing games such as dating sims and eroges died from a traffic accident and has been reincarnated to another world. The thing is he's been a new-born baby but his memories ... |
