I clicked on this out of a random "why not" chuckle manhwa search for something new/unusual. I stayed for the comedy and the feels.
Intrusive thoughts and secrets are part of everyone. Some people are shutting their hobbies off tightly from reaching other people's ears, but what if accidentally it is exposed for everyone at work? How will you react, seeing the stares and whispers of your co-workers spreading gossip?
Hobbies are no crimes. Everyone is different and has other matters that grant them joy. As the manhwa progresses, this topic is explored further.
Due to the manhwaga creating drama that is not excessive but comedic, for instance
...
via silly awkwardness, and the ability to keep the story flowing with lively characters and their struggles, this manhwa is very bingeable (it was for me). You might even pick up some trivia along the way, as it seems like the author has done research and not made it all up.
Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this manhwa. I am not really into crossdressing or other gender-related irregularities, though this was done well.
I probably wouldn't have read this if I didn't immediately start reading after seeing the MAL page, since it doesn't exactly stand out, neither the score or popularity, nor the cover picture. Still, it is surely worth trying out if you just like me, think "why not? Maybe I'd be missing out on a funny story?"

A very short, quick review of this manhwa:
Obviously, this manhwa is about delivery in a world of hunters, monsters and dungeons. He's on his scooter riding to destinations given as tasks to complete. A slight problem however, the clients are not your regular human citizens asking for pizzas, instead he's suddenly been appointed as a delivery driver for the Greek gods, which leads to a turbulent storyline without option to decline the quests (wouldn't want that penalty either lmao).
I'm a sucker for Greek and Roman mythology, so for me, this one clicked instantly. The author also has brought some comedy into the mix and it
...
fits right in. References to other manga and manhwa are notable.
Overall I got some great vibes from this and I am looking forward to read more of this for sure.

As always when I post reviews, I prefer to stay positive. With this manhwa, it shouldn't be too difficult to explain why I gave it an 8.
<Small spoilers possible, skip down to the TL;DR to have a short spoiler-free review>
This manhwa's title refers to the main character Maurina, with as her alias Marie. She's a shunned princess whose entire family has been killed. She's on the wanted list, meaning if she were to be found out, her life would be in danger. Because of her good heart she had the choice to make a wish, and what she wished for was to be helpful to
...
others in any way possible. This resulted in her multiple talents which she could make use of when necessary. Of course having multiple talents would attract people's attention, and that exactly is why she (at first) performs everything anonymously. She can't stop performing good deeds even at the point where it might endanger her in the future. As the story goes on, she befriends even the one she was terribly afraid of, though still not willing to let him know her identity.
This manhwa is created by the same manhwaga as Medical Return (Yuin) and it shows. Talented people shine bright like a diamond. Reading how someone is able to create fascinating wonders is appealing to the eye and brain. Perhaps what makes both of them work so well is that they are quasi always respectful and they set themselves lower than the ones they're talking to, no matter who it is. This makes reading their stories a pleasure and easy to breeze through.
All in all, this is definitely one of the better manhwa out there. If you have some time and interest in this subject then I can wholeheartedly recommend this one to you :)
(I read these 58 chapters very casually in 6 hours with some other things in between, reading these in two or three days shouldn't be hard)
---
TL;DR:
A wholesome enticing manhwa with a female protagonist in a setting where she quietly shines and spreads good will, making her a silent secret hero. No annoying drama or pacing issues, shortly worth reading especially if you like princess main characters.

Seeing as there's not a single review of this manhwa yet, why not make a short one?
<Small spoilers possible, though it won't ruin your experience. TL;DR at the bottom.>
So basically the MC is sent back to China more than 1,500 years ago, where medical practices were scarce. Actual recoveries after being diagnosed by a disease which were deadly in their time but not in ours were obviously rare. Being someone who has excellent medical knowledge, mainly of surgery, he performs miracles by showing them patients can be saved even if everyone's given up.
At that time, tetanus was a death warrant, but due to the extraction
...
of penicillin produced by blue mold, the bacteria could be eradicated if one has received the treatment on time. Surgery inside the brain was unheard of (due to the risks), they didn't know the Incas did that successfully. Heavy bleeding was tried to be reduced with acupuncture, and that's basically it.
The MC doesn't have sophisticated material at first, but with his drawings they could be created. Checking the insides of the body for bleeding or complications using radiology is impossible, but for the sake of the plot going forward he has got a certain ability.
He's not just a doctor who is unable to defend himself. Aware of his surroundings, he doesn't hesitate to protect his life with the necessary means.
Due to his actions, he receives authority and acknowledgement from many, it very much resembled Dr. Stone in that aspect imo.
---
TL;DR:
Time travel manhwa with a honest, intelligent MC that knows a lot about surgery, to China of 1,500 years ago. It shows various interesting operations and a couple of concepts in the medical field. Ideal to binge together with other surgical manga/manhwa.
If you want more manhwa (or manga) with medical information or something surgery related (Medical Return, Jin, Super Doctor K...), then you can surely give this one a try. All of them contain doctors who spare no effort to save their patients.

<MINOR SPOILERS possible> (read TL;DR down without any spoilers)
Plot was something like this: "I'll take you in to somewhat soothe my guilt of killing beasts, while proceeding to kill beasts who threaten others. After spending some time with me you can learn how to take care of yourself."
Along the way of learning Mani these lessons, they overcome several obstacles, mainly loose beasts.
It tackled some heavier subjects, such as kidnapping, discrimination and racism, so there it has a bonus point for not being superficial.
Sadly this manga in a whole could have been better if the author made the story go on longer. I'm pretty sure there
...
are several areas that could've been explained better. (There's a spin-off/prequel with some extra backstory to Hati and Skoll, so read that one too, even though it's not as good as this.)
This manga has quite a bunch of funny moments, I just found it memorable and worth mentioning.
There are decent plot-twists, but nothing extraordinary. The MC Wul does not have the "I'm untouchable and invincible" vibe. I love how in dire situations even he needs to be helped out, and that he has true weaknesses.
Mani is such a cute goofball!! She's charming without being annoying due to weakness (lack of strength), to a (lesser) extent she can help Wul out.
It was entertaining and the story kept me hooked through high and low.
A decent/mediocre variety in characters, but many are appearing only for a few chapters. I like how there's no roundabouts on what every character wants to achieve, especially in such a short story.
Art was amazing. There were many great panels with wide panorama shots.
Downsides?
-It took two thirds of the manga to discover they could write each other to try to work around the spoken language barrier, only to find out it wouldn't work either. It's a bit sloppy and elongated.
-Almost all of the enemies they encounter turn into "friends" or "good guys" afterwards. That's not realistic, more than few should stay evil.
-Story could've been broader, worldbuilding could've been better.
All in all it was a decent ride. Personally, it had the edge of 7 over 6, but it wasn't good enough to give more based on my own feelings.
---
TL;DR: A wholesome short manga with bits of violence, that dares to touch and hold heavier subjects like discrimination, racism and kidnapping, all of which can feel emotional. It has comedy to make characters more likable, which does its job pretty well.
Worldbuilding fell a bit short of being called 'great', even though it wasn't bad. Decent pacing, it doesn't feel boring or too slow, nor does it feel rushed. Awesome art (though not exquisite), which should be appealing to all readers.

<NO SPOILERS>
Allright, this manhwa truly is a hidden gem. I cannot think of a good reason why this has not become popular yet.
Without wasting your time, let's get into analyzing it. (TL;DR at the bottom)
Firefighting is a dangerous profession, I think that's obvious. Well, reading this, you may as well feel as if you yourself are a firefighter, having to make harsh decisions about life or death, even more when you find out what ability this MC has.
Let me state clearly that the only thing the "Supernatural" tag is pointing to, is his ability, everything else can be compared to real life.
Amazing tension and
...
peak stress levels are through the roof!
The author has a way of writing that leaves you hanging on the edge of your seat throughout the whole story. When there's a lot of suspense and tension, he can make it even MORE thrilling by staking human lives on it while nobody except the MC knows so he has to shoulder this heavy burden.
If you're an adrenaline junkie, this manhwa definitely is something for you.
Great balance between action and tranquility.
Heavy chapters are followed by calmer chapters to get room to breathe normally again.
Too many actions in a row would mess up the rhythm and character growth, so breaks are needed.
Decent variety in characters, but they are overshadowed by the main character. This doesn't mean the others don't get screentime though, he just focuses on the MC. What is the most important about it, is that everyone genuinely feels like a real person capable of his/her own decisions.
For the reader it's easy to say what has to happen because we get more info than the characters get.
Of course the main character makes mistakes, it's all a part of learning how to be responsible and resourceful.
Appealing art that makes this story easily consumable. Typically expected of webtoons.
Downsides? I myself have not found any critical mistakes. A lesser remark is how he got his ability, I'd like to know but so far I've yet to see anything about it.
TL;DR: A thrilling manhwa with lots of stressful situations. Quick pacing. No annoying drama between characters. Situations similar to real life, minus the MC's ability.
If you're looking for something non-mainstream and worthwhile, try it out!

Before I started Solo Leveling, I read the synopsis (logically) and thought of it as something reasonably okay-ish,
partially because it is very similar to My Hero Academia (MC starts from scratch, suddenly gets a 'strange' power that grows to extreme heights to the point where almost nobody is a match for the MC anymore & the power is hidden for quite some time from most of the people, but eventually everyone knows).
However, a score of 8.8 is very good and via other people and sources I got this recommended, so yesterday I read through all 156
currently available chapters and HOLY **** this was insane!
+
Humor, hype,
...
irony, gorgeous drawings (Black & darkblue; black & deeppurple were enticing combinations, the author's done it flawlessly),
colored text has a special meaning (such as extra emphasis), badass characters, action-packed
Whenever Jin-woo gets new abilities, I almost couldn't suppress screaming from how cool it looked.
-
Females don't really have a lot of screentime
(Can't remember other criticism for this, but I'll add them if they come to mind)
(As this is the first Manhwa I've ever read, this was a refreshing different form compared to Manga lay-out.)
Personal score: Story 8, Art 10, character 9, enjoyment 10 (definitely, for me) = overall 37/40 = 9.25 (9, via this system; IMO it's surely worth a 10 so I gave it 10 in my Manga List because enjoyment is what makes or breaks a story)

I'm genuinely amazed by this anime. It succeeded in getting me caught through the whole series and that is why I want to make my first review about this one: Parasyte (the maxim).
Like all great anime, it's almost required to make your viewers like the story and characters as soon as possible. From the start some unconventional things happen and all these little things tie up within a short amount of episodes.
Now, let's dive deeper into the reason as for why I give this anime a 10/10:
1) Story - 9
Even though this is fiction, it shows us how the world functions (both in there
...
and the real world). Everyone might be hiding something, violence appears out of nothing, death is near and when it happens most of the people and living creatures didn't expect it. No matter how hard you try, it's impossible to save everyone. Ethics and karma play a great part in here, and Parasyte does an amazing job trying to get its viewers to think and philosophize about life in general. A seriously large part of the humans these days doesn't think about what being preyed upon would mean. The series of events happen in a logical order. Let's move on:
2) Art - 9
Exactly what is needed. Detailed or simple, it does its job just fine. I've got nothing bad to say about this subject. Parasytes may look disgusting or ugly, but that's how it is, no use sugarcoating it.
3) Sound - 10
For real, Parasyte has some of the best OSTs lying around. I don't know many anime from which I love EVERY single OST, but this one definitely is among them. If Dubstep is your thing, you might give it a try. Even if it isn't, chances are high you're still going to like it anyway. The OP is a banger, other sounds are fitting seamlessly into it all.
4) Character - 10
This one truly deserves a 10. All characters do what they think is right, without exception. Character development happens smoothly, even though you might not like someone, certain events can cause you to reconsider what YOU thought was right and wrong. I can't simply explain it into words but on a deeper level it has grown on me. I wonder why I didn't watch this pearl earlier on...
5) Enjoyment - 10
It is an emotional roller coaster. You'll find yourself saddened at one time, something happens and you'll feel relieved but then another event happens and fear or anger or happiness might flow into you. I thoroughly enjoyed this series from the beginning to the end, and it never failed to keep my attention due to cliffhangers, humor and the search for your true self. As soon as an episode is over, you'll want another. And another.
TL;DR/Overall - 9.6/10
The art, sounds and story combined shift the tension to anything that happens at the moment.
If you liked the first episode, you're in for a treat.
(Sorry if I made English mistakes, it isn't my first language.)
