Blood spilling, swords swinging and eye glimmering - these are only a few that Akame Ga Kill and Drifters have in common. What really captivates the audience to both anime is their dark tone which allures those who enjoy action. Drifters is a story of warriors from different time and places summoned to a different reality with the purpose - to fight/kill. With different principles of morality, these warriors will do anything to gain power in their new world. Of course, they won't be met unmatched - the Ends. Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai.
add

Do you feel like you want to cry over an anime again but you have already watched Angel Beats for the nth time? Good thing for you (well, if you really enjoy crying), Ano Hi Mita is just as dramatic and tearful as Angel Beats can get. Ano Hi Mita shares the story of children whose friendship is strongly tied even after death. The story plays out as a group of teenagers find disclosure to a friend they have lost. They endeavor to make it so that she may finally rest in peace, even if it is too hard for them to accept. Ani Hi Mita does not contain as much action and a bit of comedy as Angel beats but why are they similar? Well, because they both make us realize that the value of life isn't about the amount of time we have. but the quality in which we live them.

Log Horizon may be as closest as you can get to Sword Art Online if ever you wanted more. Log Horizon's story take place when players of Elder Tales, an MMORPG game in which the anime is based on, are suddenly transported inside the game. Oblivious to the rules and events of the virtual world, they start to discover that some aspects of the game don't apply to themselves the same way when they are playing a character. And so, just like Sword Art Online, they venture out, seeking a way to leave the world they are trapped in.
