Both are magical girl, both have a group of girls with one leader. Both have romance in it, and transform to fight evil from another world. Though W.I.T.C.H techincally isn't an anime, it has anime aspects and was made later on into a manga, even if the show itself is based of the comics.

Both are magical girl, with 4 girls who transform to fight evil from another world. Both have one leader, except Sailor Moon's is a clutsy crybaby and Will is a shy tomboy. Though techincally W.I.T.C.H. isn't an anime it has anime aspects and was made into a manga later on.

After Friend

Both have the same cutsy art style, and both similar friend love story. Although Okosama started out differently they both have the same sweet feel to it. I enjoyed both of them greatly

W.I.T.C.H. without the leader none of the girls could fight. Though they still retain a few powers untransformed. Both also have it's share of comedy and romance.
