The story was touching at some parts for sure I will concede that, but this manga is just what happen when a mangaka come in contact with nihilism and take it seriously, some parts of the manga truly feels weird like the uncle backstory which was supposed to be tragic but was just plain dumb.
This is the kind of story which absolutely want to convey something, but fail horribly at it, due to the event of the story and the surrealist and insanely dumb action of some characters.
Art was indeed on point and greatly assisted the manga in delivering some, more clear messages

Overhaul this ... manga isn't that bad, but I would recommend you to read "The Horizon" instead of this if you whish to read something tragic and which try to be philosophical, as the manga I mentioned use a much simpler story and conclusion and don't try to be something it clearly failed to be

Making this Review (despite the low number of translated chapters) in case people are hesitating to start reading this manga.

So this manga is set in a Low Fantasy medieval world, there is some ability called power and there is magic, but there is no system thing or inventory the setting for now is more Western type fantasy. Obviously for the better since the plague of isek*i took over most of the fantasy trope in manga these past few years.

The character development of the manga despite the very low number of chapters is quite good, better than most other manga, our mc is not a senseless ... killing machine nor he is a wimp, he's just a soldier. Side character also well written, not extensively but you can make a general idea of their goals and ideals.

Art wise, it's really good I actually have some panel stuck on my mind, and the overall world building and details make sense.

I cannot really say much more, except the fact that I would wish more manga like this would exist, instead of trying to follow the "current thing" and make tons of classic isekai or Rom-com where nothing happens for 100+ chapters.

As of now the Manga keep going in a good direction I really enjoy the mental instability that our character develop, it is to be expected since the way he kills enemy soldier is not the fastest way that exist.
some political intrigue start to develop, hopefully we will stay focused on our main character and the manga does not take the full political course.

Sadly as of I believe late 2023 this manga is on Hiatus, hopefully it won't get axed
I still recommend it of course with the hope that it resume soon.

The premise was fine after watching the first episode I truly felt like it would be something good, while it was "enjoyable" to a certain point, story wise cyberpunk edgerunner feel bland

The setting is good we can give cdpr that, they build a good "cyberpunk" world with night city, and the thing around it, I personally wouldn't want to live in such a world, and if your setting give me that feeling(in a cyberpunks setting of course) then it's already a good point, if it was ever the intention to make you discomforted while watching the show which is debatable.

Where edgerunner felt short is in ... it's character, and the way the story is told,
we follow the journey of david which is the poor student in the rich academy and obviously things won't go to well for him, I won't go further but basically is character developpement is the most fletched out of the anime with lucy coming in second place,
and while he has a character it sadly come crashing down half way through the anime, which from that point onward his motives become somewhat questionable,
Then there's lucy which had a troubled past and dream's to live on the Moon, escaping the hellhole which is nighcity, at that point I thought "how they probably did terraform the Moon or something to make it habitable, no sane person would want to live on a barren word after all" and no she want to live on a barren world, suit yourselves, it wouldn't be a problem if that plot was like her personnal thing but sadly it will affect our main character, which already had a strong motive to justify his action, a motive which I found personally appealing and noble, but then just throw that really strong motive for lucy dream

also the way the world is supposed to be "dystopic" is questionable, the things that could be expanded to eventually make reflect the viewer on the consequences of such a world a thrown basically like "Whoaaawww doooood virtual sex that's so sick bussin fr fr no cap", and of course that's not the only example but I won't expend here I don't like making unnecessary long review.

I'll be generous and throw the fault at the fact that 10 episodes are clearly not enough to make a compeling story, and sure some characters are alright but I can't bring myself to care about them, it's still "alright" to watch but if I were you I would invest myself in some better and more fledged out story.

God it is trash, the only thing that save the manga is the outstanding art thanks to Chun

About the story nothing to say apart the fact that it is a basic magic school settings and holy, it is generic.
There's nothing special about that manga like truly there is nothing, it is the void
the relations between the characters ? ok so your telling me that a boy in his teenage years which is with multiple girls which the physics is really attractive and those girls would litteraly kill themselves to save him because they all love him, and this guy dosen't have a single relationship with ... any of them ?

Like I dont want an hentai scene each fucking chapter but idk make us understand that the realtionship is more that just kissing and saying long fucking speeches about "your are so special" that no one gives a shit, is that guys even human ? there is not a single man who would stand still with so many girls beging for his dick, that dosen't make any sens he dosen't have a soulmate nor a girl he really loved, and the relations developpements could bring jealousy between the girls and had some drama to that pile of shit, and for god sake you japanese animals can't make the difference between a fucking pentacle and a fucking david stars am I watching a Mossad military training program ?

Well After 2 season of develloping the plot and relations between the character what did we got for that 3rd season ?

Nothing, I wont even bother to finish the anime it's so boring at that point I wonder why did we watch the 2 first seasons
Just to see a bunch of edgy and social awkwards character interact with each other and that's it

Yes I thought that 3rd season was going to be your typical romance school life anime with your dose of Drama between the three main character, Which if it would have been like that would still be pretty shit but at least ... there was going to be entertainement and even if it was shit, I could have enjoyed myself and give the show a fairly decent score.

Now, I don't have high hope regarding the end of the show anymore and Highly recommend you to watch something else, If you still are enjoying the show good for you, but me and I think many other don't want to see another blabla anime wich will end with "Yes, now were going out" GGWP 10/10 emotional show, masterpiece and that kind of thing

Basically it's the same plot as the first season,
so it goes like new witch ennemy appear, "wtf i'm psychologically affected by my numerous death, it's tragic, but I will win anyways since my powers litteraly make me rewinds time XD?"
I know i skipped a lot but you truly aren't missing that much except some useless dialogue wich are here to fill the hole between the main big plot (like many anime) but are non interesting.

Art and sound were correct I guess but at a certain point art and sound aren't self sufficient anymore to call a show good, and adding new waifus for your ... fanbase won't save it, nevermind it actually did.

And there is THE MOVIE i wanted too see as big fan of FascismTroopers i'm not disapointed
This movie is a perfect sequel to the original film (there is only one film *cough*)
Of course this show is not for people who wants a deep story, but because these kind of people are a bunch of dumbs they bring back their opinions and now the show as a bad score.

So for the arts: Cgi was really good

Character: i just wants too see Guys Fighting those bugs
