Both series involve a romantic relationship developing between an older woman and a younger man. In both series, also, the main woman is torn between love and her career at some point. Both are good series, with Kimi wa Petto being the better of the two.

Both stories' pairings begin with an overly innocent boy and a boy with lots of life experience. In both, both boys learn from their counterparts and develop greatly throughout the story. Excellent yaoi series, both of them!

Both are short series that take place in a pleasure district in Japan. Love Water's a more light-hearted yaoi Novel while Sakuran is a much more dramatic Manga. Both very interesting.

Both have boys that are referred to as animals and the female is the "master". However, Beast Master is shoujo while Kimi wa Pet is jousei. Kimi wa Pet is also, in my opinion, way better and much more mature than Beast Master.

...then you might like Hanjuku Joshi add

Both are short series about a homosexual couple. Hai to Diamond is much darker, though, and features a male pairing while Hanjuku Joshi is sweet, fluffy, and features a girl pairing. Both are excellent little reads!

Both series are some of the best comedies I have seen to date. If you liked either one, you'll probably like the other!

Both are short series with a male character that's a little different. Tarou from VNA is a weird artistic male while Leo from BM is rather childish.

Both are rather dark angsty yaoi. Sakura Gari being the angstiest of the two.

...then you might like Cardcaptor Sakura add

Both have adorable kids in them. CCS and +A also have very child-like story-lines. They are both very enjoyable and well done!

Both have a character named Sasuke, have ninjas, swords, and lots of action. Oh, and they have perverts and violent female "leads" too

Both series are boy/boy romance with a school setting. In both stories, the two protagonists are in the same afterschool club.

The series have nearly nothing in common, I'll admit. The outfits the characters wear on both series, though, are of similar style. If you've watched either of these before, you'll surely be thinking of the other as you watch the characters in their loli outfits :)

Both have a character that can see/sense something within the other that no one else can. In Ai no DNA one of the characters can feel the other's pain, while in Koi no Chime one of the characters can see a person's aura.

Both stories have a character loving someone whom they aren't supposed to. Bitter, however, does not dwell on the whole "forbidden love" scene and moves on. Lovesick continues on the "forbidden love" and plays with it nicely. They are different, though, since one is yaoi and the other is normal pairings.
