It started out so good but ended up being another show ruined by a useless character and the cliche tsundere MC.

God this show would have been so good if it just kept going like it did in the first few episodes, but then again they introduce some bumbling fool that gets in the way of the main characters and completely ruins the atmosphere and plot.

The so called cliche genius MC's who escaped a facility with there lives probably spent the 8 years inbetween escaping and the first episode hatching a plot to get back at the government (stealing a proto nuke) only to ... get it foiled by some goddamn cliche outcast girl from a cliche highschool they went to for 2 DAYS? I swear this isnt the first anime that this has happened, I end up quickly forgetting anime such as this, I'd have to go back and research all those that I tossed out of my memory, this anime will be one of those anime, quickly forgotten.

I mean I had high hopes, this has some high dollar production all over it, highly detailed scenes, the Americans actually speak English not ENGRISH, except for the cliche antagonist chick who made my eyes roll every time she showed up.

Here's the most annoying part, "12" seemingly betrays his life long friend, his brother like companion for the idiotic girl that just gets in the way, why do people include characters like her in these kinds of shows just baffles me, here's a great plot with some decent characters but then again let me just throw this on random character in that has no use besides lighting a flare that one time in the airport episode, A character that doesn't do anything right besides make my blood boil. A character put in for the sole purpose of ruining the plan and the show.

I'm at episode 9, I really want to drop this show but i only have 3 epsiodes left, just gonna be in it for the ride, at this point not expecting much, my standards have dropped to the point where I just wanna see what happens to the Nuke, hopefully it blows up and kills all of em.

It's a pretty boring show, you wait and wait for something interesting to happen, even the fights are boring, the main character being the strongest never really does anything cool like the usual norm, I got to episode 23 after getting fed up with their "turbo encabulator" explanations and long drawn out talks. Its pretty annoying that they try to push the incest thing so hard, the sister gets my blood boiling, her average dialogue includes the words I'm sorry every other sentence. Cliche characters as far ... as the eye can see, the MC heartless and super strong but he loves his sister and will do anything including snipe bad guys from 2km's away standing on top of a sky scraper. Then theres the tom boy friend, there's the cute feminine one that cant make eye contact without blushing and cant get 2 words out without stuttering. theres sexual tension all over the place that never gets resolved. The story is pretty slow, its kind of like a detective show, something happens, they investigate, and the the genius MC figures it all out pretty anticlimactic.

I guess if I watch the last 3 episodes I might find some closure to my complaints but its too boring to sit through that hour...I read the summaries on Wikipedia and...MEH.

story = 7 its good but didnt keep me on the edge of my seat,,, matter fact i was constantly pausing playing a game of csgo cause Its pretty boring. I tended to skip about 5-10 mins an episode. There's shows that are smart, and are smart about being smart, this isnt, hence the "turbo encabulator" reference.

art = 7 its good, your average anime

music = 6 that stupid whistle bell song is pretty annoying, nothing sound wise really got my attention.

characters = 5 cliche. no real development. If there was I didn't see it.

enjoyment = 7 started good, nothing later on.

overall = 7 Ill go read the manga

Shock censored anime

MC is a crybaby (Shinji Ikari tier).

One of those cliche white knight characters that wanna make a difference between 2 opposing entities.

8.0+ rating I dont get it

This anime is as cliche as you can get, he gets some sort of power that makes him different and unique, but hes still a bitch.

... He proceeds to get himself rekt by bad guys and good guys who try to bring him to reality and ofcourse its super cliche so someone innocent has to die for him to figure shit out.

The "bad" guy comes and he starts talking white knight bullshit to him.

"ghoul lives matter" even though the majority of them see no reason to not kill and eat humans. This is the type of anime where the bad guys are the main characters, and the "doves"(police) are the bad guys.

Who is the bad guy?, kinda hard to tell. Well just assume everyone is the bad guy.

IMO dubstep makes a crap soundtrack lol but this is just my opinion of course.

PS: Something very weird is going on, the first review I wrote for some reason got changed from a review for Tokyo Ghoul to parasyte(got me a alot of deserved hate)...The second review my overall score from 3 got changed to a 9.....sketchy.

The overly used anime formula:

little boy piloting super space fighting crazy machine.....

then there is that annoying character that follows the protagonist around thinking he/she can be of help.

then of course the mysterious character that knows "stuff" and is some kind of psychic....she shows some love interest in the protagonist

later in the series they'll probably be a love triangle

... the bad guys are gonna appear

the bad guys will decimate the protagonist

but wait the secret wepon which will probably be a gundam upgrade and then suddenly the protagonis will be over powerful, yell and cry a few times and end up wining in the end.

but thats not all

they'll probably release a movie which will have a horrible ending and the developers of the show will say that the ending had a different meaning blah blah blah

basically just watch the first 3-4 episodes and you'll see this is one of those new age anime that are bland and over used plot styles and charcters that annoy the shit out of me personal...

how does a 14 year old kid get funding for a advanced mech design and where did he get all that knowledge of gundams when I get a b- in calculus?

also in japan do they have 14 year old's in the military?

If you've seen after war gundam x its basically the same bullshit except this ones in HD so its better looking bullshit.

the gundam looks like basically like every other gundam so nothing special about it except the age system which is some giant egg that when activated will make a weapon for the gundam that will counter the enemies weapons...wow

basically im predicting every fight in the anime is gonna go like this:

the opponent turns out to be really strong
protagonist in gundam fights him,
get his ass handed to him
then says something like "we have enough data!!!"
then they turn on the age system
kill enemy with OP gun that he gets from the age system
celebration
fin

just a lot of pretty lights, no tactical fighting, yawn.

WOW...The best animation I have ever seen...the best art by far, beats EVERYTHING I have ever seen and I have seen a lot of crap, the story is pretty awesome, don't know why its rated so low.

OKAY...at first i was like this would be great but....the fact that harry was little bitch and never got balls and his expression was like he got his winkie cut off every second of every episode was pissing me off..the story was good but the characters blew...THERE WAS NO character development they stayed the same through out i urge you not to watch this show..avoid if possible...I think half of my soul is gone.
