Story: 10 - I haven't seen a anime with this much story that transition so smoothly in a while now.
Art: 10 - The world this anime is built around is just beautiful.
Sound: 10 - Quality sound effects and background music is good.
Character: 8 - Focal point on mostly 2-3 main characters and the support characters fell out early on. But the development on those 2-3 characters were big that filled up for some of the lost points.
Enjoyment: 10 - Loved it every episode especially since I play MMOs in the past and now.
Overall: 9.6 (10) - One of the best well constructed ... anime series I have seen in a while and hopefully we will see a season 2 of this anime.

The future of gaming is a mystery you sometimes wonder. Sword Art Online brings to light some of these pondering questions.

Sword Art Online is a well crafted series on gaming MMO that brings virtual reality MMO to life. I mean, I haven't seen this kind of Anime series since .Hack. Sword Art Online has done an amazing job on displaying what virtual reality MMO is and the psychological draw backs it has.

But the anime fell back on the character design which disappointed me a little bit because the door of infinite possibility was open. Lets put it this way, introducing a couple of new characters is great. But giving them no development at all has defeat the purpose of introducing them at all. Sticking to 3-4 main to semi main characters was a let down.

Overall Sword Art Online excelled at the setting they aimed for and of course the art on the landscape makes you want to actually play the game, regardless if its a life to death situation. Beautifully well executed anime and I do hope there will be a season 2 for all the fans that are hooked to it.

Story: 9 - Mild development early on but goes much deeper later on.
Art: 9 - A much more defined and well rounded art than most anime this season (Fall 2012).
Sound: 8 - A well mixed of sound and music.
Character: 10 - If it only went higher than 10 but yeah, well display of different characters.
Enjoyment: 9 - At times I am looking for more of the "fight" scenes but the story made up for it.
Overall: 9 - A very very deep meaning in this anime for most if not everyone.

Chuun is like an anime about just silly stuff kids would do when growing up and ... can't break out of it. But society doesn't really accept these silly pretend super powers or superheros. They label these individuals as weird or not normal and mostly likely will reject them from society.

But society will always want to change someone they believe is too odd or weird and make them seem normal in the eyes of there own world. Chuun sets this kind of environment. Is it right to change a person for who they are and just reject it completely out of there life? Those are the questions I wonder about while watching this anime.

Behind the laughs and comedy of this anime. There is really a deeper meaning to it than it would seem. Of course isn't that what all "slice of life" anime aims to achieve?

Story: 8 - The plot line is very well defined from beginning to end.
Art: 7 - Not the best art for anime, especially in this era but still passable.
Sound: 7 - Well defined sound effects but not the impact I was hoping for.
Character: 10 - Every character has his or her own story which shapes them into who they are.
Enjoyment: 8 - Only if you like blood and "kill or be killed" types of anime
Overall 8.0 - Brilliantly well played out anime and I am of course hoping for more!

Btooom is like one of those anime you like or don't like. A kill ... or be killed with blood spat all over the ground. Some would just skip it because of the mass violence. Btooom is different with a really good plot line within all of the blood shed.

You will be amaze at how much Btooom depicts of life on a island and all you can think about is survival from this sick game. It also draws out the psychological side of characters.

Overall Btooom is a exciting anime to watch which will keep you on the edge of your seat till its over.

My rule always says to give a anime series at least 4 episodes before you can truly decide if a anime is good, meh, or bad. I gave this one 11 episodes before I straight out dropped it and this is coming from someone who has fully watched the Rockman.EXE series.

I felt like Ryuusei no Rockman lost it's touch in the Rockman franchise as well as what made Rockman good to being with. Poorly design with a promising new beinging but producers failed to deliver it.

Skip this anime if you are expecting something close to Rockman.EXE series because its completely different with a series ... of plot holes. I also promise you that you will spend a good 3-5 mins on the opening which gets quite annoying while the whole episode is only 10 min. long.

Story (3): The story is broken into short action scripts from a couple episodes to the next.
Art (5): Your average art, decent at most.
Sound (4): I found the sound a little repetitive but bearable.
Character (3): Almost all of the character are one-sided with no character development except for maybe the main character.
Enjoyment (2): After seeing Rockman.EXE series, I don't think so.
Overall - 3.4

In life we never experience the hardship of losing our parents but the possibly is there for some. Papa no Ikuoto brought some of the best slice of life when a university student takes care of his three nieces after his sister dies in a plane crash. The hardship that all four of them had to endure is really heartbreaking. What we have is a good well written story. Props to the author.

Hopefully everyone who watches this anime will see past the loli, lolicon (yep), and a touch of ecchi. This anime is for every slice of life genre lovers out there, I can ... guarantee you that.

At first glance, this anime looked like a harmen anime and I was right from the first look. But surprisingly this anime tries to approach the viewers with a mystery story for the next 12 episodes while the main character looks for his sister so he doesn't accidently marry her. To make it worst, his sister has a brother complex which doesn't help at all.

So in conclusion, bad mystery (easy to guess whats going to happen), obvious harmen, and insest to wrap it up. Skip this anime unless you are here for the mediocre butts and nudes.

When I read the synopsis for this anime it was a dream come true seeing that it reminded me of a popular PC game, "Total war 2: Shogun 2". Oh ho, was I wrong seeing that this anime brought out the most famous generals of Japan's feudal era to be all sexy ladies.

You would think skepticism is what would come in mind because Oda Nobuna is completely off in a history perspective. But not entirely as it still kept some key feature left in it. Actually, enough to keep Oda Nobuna a sensible anime.

Character development was something major in this anime. To ... summarize it, good guys vs bad guy is what technicality happen thought out the story.

So in conclusion, good delivery of some mild fan service with some comical scenes here and there. Oda Nobuna No Yabou did a real good job as a historical anime (one of the best in a while). A potential season 2 is detected :3.

When I was watching To love Ru, I struggle to finish the season as I tend to leave ecchi animes on and off. This was no different but finishing it took maybe a good 6 months...

To Love Ru is by far one of the more quality finishes of ecchi anime with borderline hentai like bondage, tentacle, and of course your full nudes. But you can't absolutely force a ecchi anime to be love by all.

With a somewhat random plot line it was overall kill to watch all 26 episode when the last 3 episode was what brought the whole anime to full circle but To ... Love Ru stride on the its fan service to keep the audience watching.

So in conclusion I would recommend watching To Love Ru for those who loves ecchi and some mild comedy but skip it if you are looking for some hard story line.

Infinite Stratos in three words: harem and ecchi

You bring one male into a world of a girl only school for Infinite Stratos piloting, you get one heck of a harem story. But im the type of guy who likes this stuff but overdoing and implying it into a mecha driven storyline = you have one big mess. Thats what Infinite Statos was trying to achieve by giving the viewers fan service while keeping the mecha IS system, but failed ultimately in the end.

If the author came at it with only mecha and a light heart fan service then I think this anime would have gone ... far. But in reality they threw too much and the mecha mechanics went down the drain. Don't get me wrong, the mecha fights are still enjoyable but I found it lacking as the story progress and the story switches to which girl the guy chooses. Ultimately that is what killed Infinite Stratos from being the great anime it could of have been.

Recommended for: Ecchi, Harem, fan service, and a touch of mecha lovers
Overall: 7/10

Before I started watching this anime, I was very skeptical of the anime by the anime cover art. Then again its always the "never judge a anime by its cover". So I took the chance and unfolded the story of Accel world.

After the first three episode, I was already intertwine on how Accel world worked and the concept behind it is marvelous. Although it isn't your typical action/ fantasy anime it had the lush of something similar to it. You would call it, romance/action/slice of life/fantasy/comedy packed into one. That is something I haven't seen in a anime in a while.

What ... stood out the most in Accel World is the character development of almost all of the main character. From start to finish, it seems like almost all of the character had a major change through the anime. Each one had its uniqueness to it and the author capitalized it excellently.

Accel World fell behind ultimately on the art. Although I usually don't discriminate on the art, I got to say that almost every girl in the anime had blushed or pink cheeks. That is something that is obvious and obvious. The art overall is not on par with current anime but it did not fall behind much.

The ending faltered a lot of plot holes but it opened a possible squeal. Potential is what see. Hopefully a squeal is delivered as I enjoyed much of it in Accel World.
