I think both of these anime are pretty long T.V. series about girls who want to encounter the ones they love. Although, I don't think Princess Tutu is about a girl who is in love with a guy from a far away land, but they both want to put a shine on them.

I think both of these anime have pretty much the same feel. Guy main characters, girl antagonist, and both have action/comedy/adventure and some drama. I think some of the parts might thrill you and give you goosebumps but I think Samurai Champloo takes place in another century. This anime definitely shows fantasy than Samurai Champloo does.

Both of these manga are about imaginative girls who seem to be in a strange world. Then, they are joined by other people who they seem to help out with. Both Fruits Basket and Full Moon are very stylish manga about girls whom you would fall in love with and you will love the characters who provide comical relief such as Takuto - Kyo or Meroko and whatnot. They also provide comedy, some drama, and magic.

Likewise, Full Moon is a similarity of Cowboy Bebop. Both protagonist are assisted by a group of unknown people. Faye is like Meroko because Faye has an attitude, Jet I guess could be like Takuto. Since he likes to assists others and likes Spike. Can't recommend any other characters except for Spike who is like Mitsuki. I'd say that Full Moon is like this movie because they both have protogaonist going around the world like a rolling stone to things that they haven't been to before and are glad to be there. Full Moon is more happy, Cowboy Bebop is violent so let the children watch Full Moon and if they like violence, then they should like CB. As it does have a similarity of people helping other people and other kiddish things.

Same sci-fi effects and close fighting. Not similar artwork, but Cowboy Bebop always reminded me of Figure 17 or vice versa everytime I watched both of them. Except Cowboy Bebop takes place in outer space while Figure 17 mainly took place on Earth with aliens invading their homes. They both have something that teaches you something enthusing, and similar feel. Also, unique episodes, titles, and rare storylines.

Cowboy Bebop seems to be spoofed off of Lupin the Third for a reason. Although they're still both dark anime, but they have two guys smoking, girls with attitude and guns at the same time, and overreacting kids. The main characters are also clever, too.

Sakura is a younger version of Saga it seems. Except, Sakura is not about fairies but has a similar theme, Magical Girls! And the black-haired girl is a younger version of Greta. But the main characters are both human girls, have similar ages and act pretty normal, and have flying apprentices/friends.

They both are similar themes and they're both about smart and elegant magical girls saving the world from villains. They are both sappy and airheaded crybabys and sometimes get nervous as they both try to get over it. They both have mild, helpful, funny animal-like apprentices to help them deal with battles and get over it to find new experiences and learn different things. They also both have child-like, kid-friendly romance between two different average-intelligence kids.

A Little Snow Fairy Sugar & Bottle Fairy are very similar anime. They are both very cute, with unusual but quirky magical fairies dealing with new experiences, either good or bad. They both deal with fairies joining the human world and how they get along with other humans (but they are both girls and boy children). And I really think that Sugar is more of a sweeter and innocent fairy series. Bottle Fairy to me sounded like a crazy concept of anime.

Yuri and Tsubasa are both very similar. a) They are child main characters with not the same ages but yet very similar ages. b) They both have supporting characters to help them conquer their difficulties. c) both have to fight aliens or enemies as little kids. It's their importance. d) both cry a whole lot especially of dangerous things. These anime both came out in the same year but I'd have to say Figure 17 was slightly more of a darker theme than Alien Nine, which contains more uncomfortable stuff for children more than Figure 17.
