I see rankings as a starter for a conversation about comparing and contrasting Anime and Manga with other people..! I wouldn't go through someone's list and gawk at their Anime/Manga rankings for no reason... How Silly is That!

Rankings are... *sighs*, just the worst. Everyone looks at each number differently.

It's finally done! Unfortunately, there are some issues with the frame rate dropping in certain clips for some reason that I remain ignorant to. It is most likely because I filmed the entirety of the video in 4K 24fps to give a more "cinematic" style than my usual 1080p 30fps. Moreover, I mixed in some clips that are in 1080p 30fps, so perhaps that influenced the drop in frames as well. Regardless, I hope that you enjoy watching the video as I did my best to edit it as faithfully as I could for the OP. Enjoy the show!

If you liked the editing and the "ED" of my trip to New York, I am certain that you will appreciate the videos of my trip to the Philippines which has much better editing, music and cinematography compared to the previous ones.
I am glad that you loved the "Bonk!" at the end as I actually smacked my own head with the guitar to produce that sound. Don't worry, I didn't hit myself hard enough to cause any trauma xD!

The video is finally done! I just need to rewatch it a few more times and it shall be published tomorrow, so long as YouTube accepts the songs that I used which should be fine since I don't (or more so can't) monetize anything I publish.

Kind regards,
Ryuji_Togashi

I most definitely did! It was one of the first videos I ever filmed and edited so it's not that great. Ever since then, I've always tried to have an OP as well as an ED for my videos. For those first two, I used a cover of "A Cruel Angel's Thesis" from Evangelion simply because it was iconic, with complete disregard to the "relevancy" of the OP to the actual video.

I'm currently in the midst of editing a video that I filmed at an anime convention that I went to recently. Hopefully, I'll be able to publish it by this weekend. I'll make sure to share it to you, if you don't mind.

Kind regards,

Happy Birthday! ๐ŸŽ‰ It's been great getting to know you over the past few months. I hope this year brings you happiness, good health, and many wonderful moments. Wishing you a year full of growth, positive experiences, and all the best life has to offer!

The best way to remember your birthday is to forget about it once in a while and let others remind you.

Wishing you the best.
Take care,
Fausi.

Hi PishPosh!

Thank you, and no worries about the late response—I hope you’re feeling much better now! That stomach flu sounds awful, but I hope you’re back to full health soon. My New Year was nice, pretty low-key, but that’s just how I like it. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I’ll definitely throw some recommendations your way soon. Let me know what kind of vibes you’re in the mood for!

Take care,
Fausi

How have you been?

I felt the same way about episodes 5 and 6! They were such emotional punches, and the twist about Violet’s past was amazing. And if you thought that was painful, just wait until you watch episode 10. That episode delivers an emotional gut punch that really hits hard—many consider it one of the most touching moments in the series.

If you're looking to continue after the main series, here's the recommended order:

Violet Evergarden: Recollections – This is more of a recap of the main series. If you feel like you need a little refresher or quick recap before moving on, you can watch this, but it’s not essential if you already remember the story.

Violet Evergarden: OVA – This is an extra episode featuring one of Violet’s missions. The OVA is a nice watch after finishing the main series, adding a sweet and touching new story.

Violet Evergarden Gaiden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll – This is highly recommended and focuses on one of Violet’s missions, centered around friendship. It’s not crucial to the main plot, but it’s very emotional and definitely worth watching.

Violet Evergarden the Movie – This is the conclusion to Violet’s journey. I highly recommend saving this for last, as it beautifully ties together all of Violet’s emotional development.

So, my recommended order is: watch the OVA after the main series, then Gaiden, and finally the Movie as the perfect ending.

If you’ve finished the main series, you can actually go straight to watching Violet Evergarden the Movie (2020), as this film serves as the conclusion to Violet’s main story. It ties together all of her emotional growth and life journey in a beautiful and satisfying way.

Meanwhile, the others, like the OVA and Gaiden, are just additional stories that aren’t crucial to the main plot. They mainly serve as world-building or showcase Violet’s other missions that aren’t directly related to the major ending. So, if you want to go straight to Violet’s main story conclusion, you can watch the 2020 movie right away.

But hey, enjoy it! No need to rush. This series is quite deep, so taking your time to watch it in a comfortable moment makes the experience even better.

Thanks for reaching out, I totally get that feeling! Life can really get in the way sometimes, especially when you're just trying to enjoy a good series. No worries, take your time with it. Episode 6 is a heavy one, so it’s understandable if you drifted off—better to watch it when you’re well-rested!

It’s awesome to hear that you’re finding so many other fans who love Violet as much as we do! She’s such a deep character, and it’s great that the anime community appreciates her development.

Hang in there! You’ll get through it, and I’m looking forward to hearing what you think of the rest of the series! ๐Ÿ˜

I'm pleased to hear you had a wonderful day at work! It's remarkable how a shift in the weather can enhance our mood and boost productivity. Thank you for sharing your positive vibes—keep embracing that positivity! :)

Hey!

I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying Violet Evergarden! Don't worry, the comment about Iris and her relationship with her family isn't a spoiler, it's actually an important part of Violet's character development and how she learns to understand emotions. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I also agree about the amazing post-war setting, and it's interesting that you compared it to Batman: The Animated Series! The darker, more elegant art style does have some similarities, even though the stories are quite different.

I'm sure you'll keep enjoying it until the end, especially with some very emotional moments coming up. I know it can be hard to get someone to watch your recommendation, but it looks like it worked this time, right? So far, you're on episode 5 of 13, and the good news is, there are more films and seasons you can dive into later. I'm really happy you're liking it, even though it's different from the genres you usually enjoy!

Have a great day too!
