Binbougami ga! is an anime I've been wanting to watch for a while now, and while I had the time to, I decided 'Why not?' and gave it a look.
As expected from Sunrise, this anime contains a lot of parodies from other anime, such as Prince of Tennis, Death Note, and many many more! Despite all the comedy in it, this anime teaches you a very good life lesson. You might be rich, you might have all the money and fortune in the world, and all the best looks, but if you're arrogant; like in this case the main character Sakura Ichiko is, you will
...
end up all alone with a lot of fake friends who just are there because of your status.
This anime revolves around a girl called Sakura Ichiko who apparently has too much fortune for this world, and she can unconciously suck fortune out of other people, making them unfortunate, and most likely a bad event happening in a few seconds, but she isn't known of this until Momiji, a god of misfortune comes by. This god of misfortune is assigned a mission to stop this imbalance of fortune somehow, and she does everything she could. The story was very well-paced for a 13 episode anime, and everything was explained very well.
The art was simply outstanding, not deserving of a 10, but the detail put in each character was simply amazing. I loved looking at each expression the character would do and most of them, especially the parodies were hilarious and left me laughing my ass off for a whole episode!
For once I actually ended up listening to the opening and the ending each episode since they were so enjoyable, and even the OSTs were on spot for each scene, making the anime more enjoyable than it already is.
I was watching this anime with very high standards on me, and those standards were surpassed by loads. Each character was very lovable and fun to watch, especially Momiji and Sakura Ichiko, the two main characters. The side characters like the priest, the dog and many others were so fun to watch, I haven't enjoyed side characters as well for a long time now, so this was fresh air for me.
I could say that I enjoyed this anime a lot, especially because Sunrise is my favorite company, and if they ever do a season 2 (Binbougami ga! Darkness LOL), I will be very looking forward to it, though it's probably one of Sunrise's usual trolls lol.
As a person who was very depressed a while ago, this anime cheered me up a lot by just watching it, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants an amazing comedy with tons of hilarious parodies inside.
Thanks for taking your time to read my review!

When asked, a lot of people don't like idol anime or anything similar, or in other words, anime based on music and stuff. I'm one of these people. I don't usually watch idol anime, but I wanted to try this out because of the outstanding art that this anime offers.
At first I was really hesitant, even to the point where I removed it off my PTW list because I would feel embarrassed having watched something like this. Sure this anime might be targeted towards children rather than teens/adults, but it doesn't mean that teens/adults wouldn't enjoy this. This anime taught to me that hard work
...
actually does pay off, that if you try your hardest, you will eventually arrive to your destination point.
There are a lot of things I liked about this anime, but the thing I liked most was probably the art. Yes, I'm a very picky person when it comes to art, and this anime reached my expectations when it came to the art. All the characters were nicely designed and all of the 9 girls are cute. In other words, the art was what some people call it, flawless.
The only thing I disliked about this anime was the fact that they were taking too long to prepare for the live shows and stuff like that. The producers should have shown the girls in action more (I don't literally mean in action, I meant that they should probably have shown more of their songs).
In terms of characters, all of them are easily likable, none of them are really that bland. There are 3 main characters in this anime, Honoka, who is seriously hyper and energetic, Umi who is very shy and was reluctant to become a school idol at first, and Kotori who is a very calm, and a little shy.
We have these 3 main characters make an school idol group in order to save the school from closing (because they aren't reaching the applicant quota). They name this school idol group 'Muse' (sorry I don't want to look all over the internet just for a greek character). Eventually they reach 9 members by around episode 6-9, forgot. That's basically it for the story since I don't want to spoil a lot.
The sound is the second thing I enjoyed a lot in this anime. The opening was just straight up amazing, I almost watched it every episode. I don't usually watch endings because they're usually dull and boring, but I really loved the ending song this time, I ended up watching it every episode. The insert songs were amazing too, I ended up downloading that 'Dash' song too (it was that good :>).
I could probably say that I felt embarrassed inside while watching the first few episodes due to this being my first idol anime, but eventually I got used to the feeling and I opened myself up to this anime. All in all I could say that I enjoyed this anime a lot for my first idol anime, and I would suggest this to anyone who is looking for an idol anime.
Thanks for reading :>

Hello friends, today I am doing a review for the anime Kotoura-san :p
Story - 7/10
The story is just your usual comedy/romance cliche except for the first part. It revolves around Kotoura and this club they call ESP club to prove that psychics exist. The story starts by revealing Kotoura's past, and then continues with a hilariously fast rate where in my opinion, it was like Kotoura forgot what her past was like. It was basically your happy go lucky anime.
Art - 9/10
I liked the character designs a lot. All the characters were good looking, especially while in Manabe's imagination (which was fun to watch).
Sound -
...
6/10
Nothing special here, nothing to say either.
Characters - 5/10
Your characters are all cliched in this anime. Kotoura is the main heroine with a happy go lucky life and a horrible past, Manabe is the guy she meets and falls in love with, Moritani is your sub heroine, and Yuriko and that other guy are your typical sub characters. I didn't like any of them too much except for Kotoura's grandfather. Yuriko's goal of using Kotoura just ended up being forced, and even Kotoura's interactions with her mom were too forced. It was just all too forced to begin with.
Enjoyment - 7/10
I have to admit, I really enjoyed the first few episodes, but then it just became boring and cliched, the finale was boring as fuck, and Kotoura's interactions with her mom were forced. And the anime is too cliche, so I didn't enjoy the rest of the episodes.
Overall - 7/10
I'm only giving this a 7/10 because of Kotoura's grandfather, he was just so awesome and manly, Manabe is just a clone :

This review might contain some spoilers, since it would be a pain to explain without spoiling a bit of it.
Story: 10/10
This story is about a group of friends at Sakurasou and their personal problems. Our main character is Kanda Sorata, your average highschooler who attends Sui High, and lives in the dorms of Sakurasou. In the first episode he meets a girl called Shiina Mashiro, and with that one meeting, his life changes for the better. Well in my opinion, the story is really nice and heartwarming. I really liked it. I loved how the story revolved on the whole of Sakurasou an their problems
...
rather than on just Sorata. Some certain episodes can get quite dramatic and sad. It has quite a realistic feel to it as well.
Art: 10/10
The art is really impressive and I love the character designs, same with the scenery. My favourite design is probably of Shiina, her art was flawless.
Sound: 8/10
I only gave this an 8 because of the first OP/ED. I really did like it. The BGMs are easily forgettable (if there were any, I already forgot.. -_-). The 2nd ending was quite bad as well, so I won't bother rating this a 9 or 10.
Character: 9/10
All the characters are easily likeable in my opinion. My favourite character in this anime was probably Nanami, or possibly Sorata.
Enjoyment: 9/10
I truly enjoyed this series, this is probably one of my top 20. If you're looking for enjoyment, push yourself through the first 1-5 episodes, since they focus on fan service first (and introducing all the characters), and then you can enjoy the rest. I feel like this could happen literally anywhere in the real world. It felt that realistic.
Overall: 9/10
I'm giving this a 9 because I feel like there is something small missing in this series, ESPECIALLY the last episode. You will realize why after you watch it.

Since this manga was highly praised by a lot of people, I decided to give it a read. Sadly it didn't meet my expectations. I'm not saying it wasn't good, it was actually quite good. The right word for this would be overrated. This review might contain a few spoilers, so be wary while reading.
Story - 8/10
The story revolves all around Kurosawa and how he changes throughout the story thanks to different people. In my opinion, it wasn't a bad story at all, I especially liked the 2nd arc of the story when he fell in love with Takigawa, and all his thoughts while masturbating,
...
it was very funny in some pieces, and very dramatic in others (in a way..). This story gave off a very realistic feel while reading it, and that's what I liked about it.
Art - 6/10
If there was something I didn't like too much, it was the art. It's not because it was bad, it's because I feel the mangaka could have put more effort into the art. The characters looked either very plain, or filled up too much.
Characters - 8/10
Most of the characters were bland, I didn't like too much of them, especially Kitahara, who is that typical stuck-up bitch who threatens you to do her deeds. The characters I liked most were probably Kurosawa and Sugawa. In the beginning of the manga, Sugawa was a big bitch as well, but then it was revealed that she actually has a tsundere personality near the end of the manga. Kurosawa changed quite a lot throughout the manga as well, and that's what made me actually like him as well, especially how his dick throbs instead of his heart when he's in love.
Enjoyment - 9/10
I enjoyed reading this manga quite a lot, Kurosawa's attitude towards certain things was hilarious in my opinion. There were funny parts, and at the same time there were those parts which would keep you reading till the very last chapter.
Overall - 8/10
As I said before, it is an overrated manga, and despite that I still enjoyed it overall. The only thing I didn't like was the time-lapses throughout the last few chapters of the manga, it was quite hard for me the understand what was happening through the end of it. I would recommend this to basically anyone who is looking for a manga to kill time.

First off, this review probably contains little to no spoilers, so you are probably free to read it without having any major spoilers seen in here.
Story - 8/10
As a 10 episode anime, I can't really give the story higher than an 8 since it was too short. There were bits and pieces I didn't really get in the story later in the anime, it's like something was being cut off from the original light novel of this. I did like the small story this anime gave us though. It's hinted that they will release a season 2 of this due to the flying letter
...
in the very last second in the last episode.
Art - 10/10
If I had to give something a 10, it would be the art. Amazing character designs, especially the black rabbit. The scenery was quite nice to look at as well, and the special effects during some of the fights (especially the last episode).
Sound - 9/10
The opening song was amazing, and so were the BGMs inserted into the anime. I only heard the ending song once but it was quite good as well. Not much I can really say about the sound, so I'll skip off to the next topic.
Characters - 9/10
I'll start off by saying, Izayoi is that calm MC which you see in some anime, but at the same time he is hungry for fights. The way he was so bad ass was actually refreshing due to the recent trend of wimpy characters. Maybe bad ass characters don't develop much, but I still liked this guy quite a lot. Second off is Shiroyasha, she's just a hilarious character in anyway, she literally lusts upon the black rabbit in every way, and I think Shiroyasha and Izayoi would make an awesome team in terms of perverseness xD. I liked most of the characters equally except from those 2.
Enjoyment - 9/10
As much as I enjoyed this, it gets a 9 and not a 10, since as I mentioned in the story, there were bits and pieces which I couldn't understand. I enjoyed the comedy the most in this one, and the fighting scenes of course.
Overall - 9/10
And again, overall it gets a 9. It was a very good anime and I really enjoyed watching it, especially because of Izayoi. I would recommend this series to a lot of people who are looking for an fantasy/action/comedy anime. This series is basically the bad ass version of Dog Days, but ten times better, and the MC isn't a happy go lucky person.
