Aging is an interesting thing.
I first watched this anime when I was in my mid-20s. You should try it when you get older. Go back and watch something you thought you really liked a decade later. See if it still holds up. I went back and watched Inuyasha (still love it, by the way), and I hated Miroku this time, when I used to love him. As we progress as a culture and race, some characters and animes just don't hold up.

Ahhh this anime frustrated me; because SO many elements were done wonderfully. But there were just some foundational things that made it a complete mess.
Let's start with the good: 1. Character Design and Setting--BEAUTIFUL. All the characters are visually bright, diverse, interesting and modern despite the time period of the setting. Quite a few hotties here, and that's never a bad thing. 2. Action-- FANTASTIC! From the start, it's fast-paced, engaging and there are many moments where I was literally on the edge of my seat.
