Both anime could not be more similar. There is a senpai-kouhai relationship. Senpain is the uke and Kouhai is the seme. Kouhai has been madly in love with his senpai but senpai really does not care that much at the beginning. Kouhai at some point kind of forces himself on his senpai. I think these anime are the perfect match.

If you liked Hotarubi no Mori e add

...then you might like Tokidoki add

Both have tragic ends. A ticking time bomb attached to their life-span. But at the end of their story they had that smile of satisfaction on their face that is painful to watch. That reminds us that they didn't deserve this fate, living a little while longer wouldn't hurt, and dying young shouldn't be an option at all. Both are extremely good manga.
