A two season series of only 72 chapters, one would expect it could maintain its quality to the end. However, toward the end of the story, the art begins to diminish and at times becomes disorienting.

As for the story, it was demonstrably planned ahead of time. However, in order to overcome an issue each for the ML and FL, the author chose to morph the plot into something rather different and potentially underwhelming. For that, the second season will either be a love-it-or-hate-it time for the reader. It really comes down to personal taste.

However, regardless of taste, the story did become rushed in ... relation to that chose in writing. And the majority of that is due to how many things wound-up occurring offscreen, as hinted by the beginning of this review's mention how the art quality became disorienting. So if you want a good end, it's best to consider the first season the only season (first 42 chapters).

TL;DR This manhwa is the perfect representation of a lot of modern series: really interesting start; dumpster fire of an ending, even worse than Game of Thrones lol. Essentially, you shouldn't get invested because there's no good payoff

I'll go ahead and say it: this manhwa was most likely axed, or the author was forced to rush its ending due to deadlines/contract/lack of interest
And because of that, I feel as if season 1 and 2 are completely different stories altogether. As such, I will try to evaluate them seperately

Season 1 - overall a pretty solid experience. Has an interesting premise, male lead + female lead have ... good chemistry, the story is entertaining and sometimes even comedic. I'd give it a score of 8/10

Season 2 - Oh boy, where do I even start lmao. From the rushed story pacing, to the decaying quality of the art, to the nonsensical plot points, it's pretty bad, and I quote "if it smells like sh*t, looks like sh*t and tastes like sh*t, then it can only be sh*t". The first half of season 2 is still pretty digestible, but the author suddenly felt the looming axe, so he fit all his planned plot points into like 10 chapters. It's such a fcking joke how bad it became. 3/10

So yeah, don't bother reading it. Unlike sh*tty stories where you know from the start that they suck ballz, this manhwa baits you with a great season 1, only to then bring utter disappointment aftewards
