You love comedy? Gags? Slapstick? You name it, both have it. While the premise is completely different, it has one thing in common, it's genuinely hilarious. So, watch it if comedy is what are you looking for. That and a dysfunctional cast of character

Dead Tube

Dead Tube is the heavy fanservice version of Darwin's Game. Well, it's not wrong but it doesn't do justice to both of this series. Darwin's Game and Dead Tube, while dealing with completely different thing (A mobile game and a freaky YouTube where if it actually exist, the Net Neutrality should be a thing by then), both come down to one thing, survival games where the loser will die without a trace (magically, with the help of Administrator of the service). The main character is also similar in terms of willingness to participate in the game but later turn into a master of said game.

This two series are an emotional rollercoaster people can relate to. Both deal in the matter of appreciating life and loved ones. Both have the same premise of the character with limited lifespan and how they take it upon themselves to use it as well as possible. It's short but sad. An easy read material with light drama to take on

Tokidoki

Although Tokidoki is a one-shot, it still makes people sad, just like Jumyou wo Kaitotte Moratta. Ichinen ni Tsuki, Ichimanen de.? (3 Days of Happiness). The manga both follow a character with issues of having a short lifespan and how they are living their last moments with someone they care about

How is this similar, you say? Okay, I have two solid points First, it has the same battle royale thing going on with participants came from alternate reality. Second, both of the series deal with a really heavy dialogue (or character drama, as some people say) to move the plot along with the action As why I pick Fate/Zero over Fate/Stay night for the similarity lies in the visual as well, both are equally stunning in my eyes and both keep me on the edge of my seat until the end

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo

Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo and Kokoro Connect is pretty similar during their first arc. Both dealing with body switching phenomena. After that, they kind of branch out to deal with respective problems. There's also these relationship between group of friends that are explored to some extent in Yamada-kun and to a deep extent in Kokoro Connect. If you're looking for conclusive ship, both series got them so, that's a plus

Net-juu no Susume

Both tackles in the premise of the life of gamers. Net-juu is the grown-up version of Gamers!. Both have a likable romance going on (Well, Net-juu takes on romance is goddamn slow but still it takes it nonetheless). If Gamers! is all about a misunderstanding, then Net-juu is all about a coincidence.

Tomodachi Game

First of all, this two have this similar premise (games filled with "believing other people" or "deceiving other people" to win. High risk, high take kind of game where their own finance is at stake). Both have an incredibly genius swindler taking part of the game (one directly and one by contract with the actual game player). Filled with a logical decision and cunning scheme to overthrow the opponent. Tomodachi has a grim tone in its art while Liar Game has a trippy, semi-realistic tone in its art. If you're fine with not-so-common art, then you'll like both of these

Pretty much the same theme. Brother and Sister relationship. The sister is a complete tsundere to her brother. The MC got a lot of woman around him but chose to stick with his sister. Even the Light Novel writer is the same guy. Watch this if you like Eromanga-sensei but wants it for a bit older character (At least the character here is a high schooler not some middle-schooler).
