I write about what I watch and what I re-watch. It's a slow process and I do so mostly just to keep a record of my opinions and subjective criticisms. If you see my embarrassing ramblings I'm sorry. If you like them then that's great!
The thing is the Crimson Splitjaw Hippo from are not actually cgi. The scorpions were I think but honestly I can't even tell and I can usually spot cgi. From what I know at least the Hippo was done by Kou Yoshinari and the style he was using for the Hippo he has used for other creatures before and it looks like cgi, but it is just a weird style he does.
The chipmunk creatures look way pretty terrible XD. They are probably the only time I was ever taken out of the show or movie 3 and was like what the heck are these things.
I do agree not to watch the summary movies. Watching the series than movie 3 is the way to go. Thanks for giving a detailed response. I still think the movie overall looks better especially after looking through sakugabooru. The movie just has way to many dynamic scenes that the anime just lacks, but honestly I think both look visually stunning and the TV series might be even more impressive just considering the fact that it is a tv series and not a movie XD But I think all things considered even trying to argue one looks better than the other is quite difficult and shows the care put into the animation for both the movie 3 and series.
Thanks again for the response I enjoyed reading it. :D
Just wondering why you thought the made in abyss movie 3 had a dip in animation quality? I actually thought it looked way better than the first season. I agree with the story for this part was always lacking a bit, but I was wondering what examples you had in mind.
Hi i just read your scissor seven review and i really like how you start your reviews with "out of 100 nobles". It makes them stand out a bit and make them more fun to read. I rarely read reviews for shows in advance because im afraid of spoilers but i have to give you credit for how youve written your reviews. Well done. Cheers!
