Time of writing this, Darling in the FranXX is currently one of my favorite Animes so far. It starts off pretty well, but does slow down a little, but picks up the pace near the middle. It is indeed my first mech anime, never thought I'd watch, nevermind enjoy one, but here we are.

Characters are definitely one of the shining parts of this, they're all written so well, and you connect with each of them in a different way. Story was enjoyable as well but pretty predictable although I was never left unhappy with it. I cried a few times nearer the end, but it ... was an insane ride through out none the less.

I'm not good at writing reviews, and don't go far into detail. One thing I can say for sure is, this is one of my favorite Animes so far, I recommend this over and over, make time for it, don't just put it on your plan to watch. Watch the first few episodes and get started, you definitely won't regret it.

There's a reason this Anime is top among big names, it's an absolute emotional roller coaster. Make sure you watch the season before, Clannad. With such amazing characters and storyline, you'll be left in tears time and time again, while other moments finding yourself happy.

Unlike 90% of Animes I usually watch, I watched this one in dub, even though at the moments the voice acting and timing is slightly off. Still a wonderful peace.

I'm not much of a writer, so I can't make justice to this story. So all I can do is recommend this to you, a thousand times over. I'm planning on watching ... it through again.

The season previous to this one, Clannad, is a little bit more on the boring side, but is definitely worth the watch as it builds up their characters and is essentially to understanding the full story.

Music is great, hence the 9, only thing lowering this was because the dub so... I presume it would have been better if it was the subbed version.

Everything about this is almost perfect, so close to perfection, I can't actually pinpoint something wrong with it. Every character was well written, I felt as if I knew them and they were all unique. Story was great and caught on real fast, story progression was at a fast, but steady pace and nothing felt rushed. Voice actors and subtitling were almost near perfection. I'm actually struggling to pickup anything negative about this Anime. Even the ending left me, full, if that makes sense. I was extremely happy with the ending, which is something I can't say about a lot of Animes.

Even If you don't ... have time to watch this Anime, make time, and watch it. You won't regret it.
