There are very few anime I have ever given a perfect score, but I felt Psycho-pass deserved it. It's intelligent, gripping, and exciting. None of the characters are superfluous and all of them are interesting. If you haven't seen this yet, give it a try. You may not find it perfect, but you may find it to be worth your while.

Psycho-Pass is a combination of Minority Report, Ghost in the Shell: SAC and MPD-Psycho.

Unless you have read the manga this is based on, it is senseless and incomprehensible. They've taken a very dark, ambitious story and turned it into three minute skits that remind me of Hetalia. When I heard this was coming out, I was excited. The original story is on the same line as MPD-Psycho, and if it had been done well, it would have been a dark and brooding work rated R for violence and sexual situations. This anime adaptation is so far off the mark from the original that I can't even recommend it to fans of the manga. Very disappointing.

I love the story and I think it is very well done, but my only complaint is that many of the characters look strikingly alike and if you go a few weeks between chapters or volumes it takes a while to figure out who is acting on each page.
