Okay let me tell you this before the review, I LOVE SHUGO CHARA. I am a hardcore Shugo Chara fan and Amuto fan. You could say I am biased, but please let me explain why.

Sometimes when you have your mind set on liking something, you most definitely will like it. This is Shugo Chara doki for me. No matter how many problems people point out in it, I can only find good things about it. The story leads away from the manga's plot for a new arc, the Lulu arc. Now yes at first just like everyone else, I hate Lulu. But as her ... arc went on I came to like her. You have to find the good in her. So once we get past that part you get to the ikuto arc, YAY xD. Those scenes were amazing and even Tadase's confession was. Sure the Tadamu got on my nerves sometimes but nothing that ruined the show. The fighting scenes were epic. I will tell you that there are obviously many fillers, but even those are interesting to me and have bits of the original story in them too.

The art was still good this season, I even have to admit I like it more then I liked the art from the last season. It was a little sloppy sometimes but the majority of the amazing as usual.

The openings and endings were all catchy and adorable though childish at times. A little different from the last season. The voices were good for all the characters, suiting them all perfectly. And the soundtrack fit the situation perfectly when some memorable songs in my opinion.

The main cast of characters are my favorite part of Shugo Chara. Even Lulu. Some of the filler charaters were pretty good too. But back to the original characters, they all have their own amazing personalities and their own stories. I love them with all my heart.

I LOVED Shugo Chara. Besides the occasional Tadamu moments and boring filler episodes, it was very enjoyable. Please give it a try. Don't listen to those other reviews. This anime is worth your time. Especially if you liked the first season. Remember though, view it with an open and positive mind set. That's the key to enjoying this anime.

Have you ever had an anime that you had such high hopes for that almost no matter what you just have to rate it high? Yeah, this is that anime for me. Was it as good as I hoped it would be? No. Did the ending disappoint me? Yes. So why did I rate it a 9 and even thought about rating it a 10? Because I loved the idea of this anime and the video game so much that I just had to.
The story is this anime's selling point. I mean 15 high school students trapped in an academy where they have to kill ... each other to get out? Who wouldn't find that interesting? The first episodes really had me going. I was always dying to know what would happen next. But then it turned into a pattern, someone dies, trial. Someone dies, trial. Even though trying to find out who the culprit was was exciting, I was like come on, more story, more plot! Then the last few episodes they gave me just that, rushing all the way, I mean why on earth did they try to cram everything into 13 episodes? 26 would be so much better!
The art was annoyingly meh. I mean they completely depended on the video game for everything, especially the deaths. I mean I can get how they can follow the video game but gosh it has no anime features, everything is from the video game.
The opening was strange, I didn't really like it and the ending was okay, video game like I suppose. I liked the voice actors so I that's why it gets an 8, oh and the soundtrack was good too.
The characters were the other selling point of this anime. I really love them all. It was so sad seeing them die one by one every week. They all had unique personalities and I found them very enjoyable. Especially the mastermind, which I won't say who. Oh and Monobear is adorable in an evil way. Great villain.
So despite the many setbacks I loved this anime anyways. Maybe it's because I had my heart set on wanting to like it so I just did. I am excited for the next season and will probably watch it and fans of the dangan ronpa video game should definitely watch the anime, it's worth it, not perfect at all, but worth it.

Oh, Watamote, how this show played with my feelings without a mercilessly. The ups and downs I went through, all over just twelve episodes.
The story, basically goes nowhere. No huge plot development, no big grand scheme. But it's very relatable. This is one of the few shows where people can actually be like "gosh, that's so much like me." And they cringe at the thought of it. You feel sorry for her while laughing at her at the same time. It's a tragic story, covered up by light humor. The sad part is there are so many girls out there just like Tomoko, suffering. ... It draws you in even with the lack of story. Everyday things in Tomoko's life are made interesting.
The art is average. What can I say? Nothing remarkable. Nothing horrible. I did like Tomoko's different faces though, very entertaining.
The opening was okay. The ending was cute. Again, nothing extraordinary here. Hatsune Miku sung one ending which made me happy. Tomoko's voice actor did a good job.
The highlight of the show is Tomoko herself. Sure, there are a few side characters but this show is all about Tomoko. You hear her thoughts, see her world. She is really quite the character, definitely not boring, I will say that. She is hilarious, perverted, depressing, and it's wonderful yet horrible. So many mixed feelings, but you can't help but love her.
If enjoying means cringing every time Tomoko did something stupid (so all the time) and laughing my ass off while she does it, then yes I did. It was a good 12 episodes and kept me entertained. There isn't a very amazing ending, but really, what did we expect to happen? This is supposed to be like real life.
So I give it an 8, it is a very memorable anime but it is not perfect, not many animes are.

This anime is different from the ones I've seen before so I was worried about whether I'd like it or not, and I did. The story is amazing, pretty sad and somewhat confusing if you're slow like me lol. Every character has their own story that conncects to everyone elses. The art was pretty good, nothing extrodinary.
I loved the opening, the ending was okay. They did a good job with the voice actors, really suited the characters.
The characters were as great as the story, some of them I hated because they were so mean.
I overall, enjoyed it a lot. It was nice ... to watch something a little different. However, it may not be different for you, just for me, I don't usually watch these kind of animes.

This manga may seem cute and carefree but it has so much more heart to it. It starts out pretty typical and I admit I got bored at some parts but keep reading, I assure you it gets better! In my opinion, the characters have great backgrounds that you find out about. Very sad and tragic sometimes. There will also be a HUGE plot twist that will make you wanna cry. Please read this while it is cute it has very heartwarming parts that really moved me.

As another reviewer said a very "syrupy" read. Filled with "they became my sun" and "I was lost in the darkness because everyone ignored me" sort of thing. Though filled with sayings lik that, it was very good. The art, in my opinion, was one of it's strongest points. Beautiful drawings, definietely my style of manga. The story was pretty good and relatable too if you read the summary. It keeps you going though I must say it's pretty obvious who Hikage ends up with. If you've ever been bullied this is wonderful story for you to relate to.
The characters were very cute, their ... personalities were cute, every character I liked! I love how the whole class was so close! :)
The age group was very appopriate too, the characters being about 14 years old, middle school is exactly when this kind of stuff happens.
Anyways, overall if you like inspiring, romantic, funny, somewhat dramatic reads then this is totally for you! It's not very long so you should finish it within a few days if read fast.

I am barely rating this anime because I barely watched it. I'm sure this might be a good anime to some people but not for me. If you like animes that are pretty werid and kind of creepy with some comedy this is the anime for you. But if you aren't used to...how shall I say it....strange animes...then I highly recommend you don't watch this. When I first saw it I thought maybe it won't be as weird as it looks, IT IS. So shoujo and romance anime lovers, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. This anime I think will later include a little bit of ... romance but it's definetely not it's main target. So anyways, hope this helps.

There is a reason why I rated this manga somewhat low but I will get to that towards the end of this review. The story was somewhat interesting but been there, seen that. Nothing special. The art was good, again, nothing special. Definitely not the best artwork I've seen.
The characters, oh, this is why I rated this manga low. The protagonist, she has admirable traits I will say, like determination and kindness. But that damn kim do-jin asshole, I hope he goes to fucking hell! He is by far the worst manga character I've come across. He's mean, a bully, arrogant, rude, and has no ... redeeming traits whatsoever! He's not even very cute in my opinion, and the fact that he acts all tough smoking his cigars pisses me off. Acting all high and mighty and then has the guts to fall for the same girl when she becomes pretty! How superficial is he! VERY!!!!!
I don't know much about that third guy, whatever his name is, but I heard he cheats on her later so of course I don't think highly of him though he does seem nice now.
The reason why I really didn't enjoy this manga very much (even though I'm not even finished yet) is because of how superficial and just freaking retarted it is! Life isn't all about being beautiful! That's my morals anyways and I think everyone should follow them.
Anyways I'm probably gonna drop this series anyways cause I'm gonna literally die on the inside if this girl ends up with this kim do-jin bastard, if you are against bullying and superficial stuff then DON'T READ THIS. In matter of fact, I don't think anyone should read this. why did I even give this series the honor of a 6? I should've rated it a 1 or 2! Gya sorry I got really mad and cussed but this stuff really gets on my nerves. >:(

I loved overture!!! Anyone who reads this review and likes rozen maiden must watch it! The story was very good though I did think it would be a little longer, that's my only qualm. The relationship between Shinku and Suigintou is one everyone must know about. The art was pretty good too, the same as the other 2 seasons.
I loved the opening! One of my favorite anime openings right now! :) It's very...beautiful. Sadly I don't usually pay much attention to anime endings so I have nothing to say about the ending.
The characters were wonderful. As usual, I loved Shinku though she ... is different from how she is the other 2 seasons. More cold and harsh.
I had a love/hate thing for Suigintou, at first she seemed quite sweet and determined but towards the end overture I think she goes too far. You will have to watch it to know what I mean, I'm not gonna spoil it for you. ;)

My overall enjoyment was indeed a 10! The only thing is it left me craving for more, a third season of rozen maiden is a must!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS ANIME!!! I saw this anime by coincedence when looking around on youtube and being interested by the opening. The opening makes it look bleak and depressing but it hardly is! Many parts are really funny and make me giggle or smile. Yes, some parts are dramatic but that's what makes this anime so good. It's perfectly balanced out. I could not stop watching Rozen Maiden.

The story is very unique and interesting. Right when the plot starts getting slow it picks right up again and I'm back to being intruiged. I am beginning to watch the second season so I'm obviously ... very intersted in the plot and what will happen next. As for what this anime is about you will have to find out on your own because it's a little hard to explain. I'll give you a hint: LIVING DOLLS.

The music was beautiful. The art was great, not exactly anything spectacular but I like how the dolls look and their design is very unique.
Now the characters are what really made me fall in love with Rozen Maiden. Jun is a wonderful main character who is easy to relate to and very lovable. LOL. And Shinku is just as adorable with her little arrogant personality but still very caring and even at times, funny! The other dolls I love too and you will even have a heart for Suignitou whom I think you will find way more about in the second season. Characters are wonderful!

Overall I really enjoyed this anime and highly recommend it to anybody, really. It's unique, funny, dramatic, and just very interesting!
