I picked up Dogs Bullets and Carnage to replace the hole Togainu no Chi left when Tokyo Pop shut down. It was exactly what I needed. Lots of action going on, loveable characters, engaging plot. And of course plenty of mystery surrounding the main character and his strange abilities. Both are set in a sort of post-apocalyptic setting, include run down cities, mysterious organizations, human modifications. The main characters carry some similarities, but unlike Akira, Heine has a bit of a beserker button, which is something I love. xD
