Ok so I will just sort this out by how the Part 1 goes.
Story 10/10
When it comes to story I give it a 10/10. I enjoyed the story build up and how long it took the characters to realise the existance of the vampires. It felt very realistic and I loved Toshio's medical point of view that gave the story a refreshing touch of reality as well! I totally loved the scenes when he's analyzing the symptoms! The end of the story is very sad and is one of the reasons why Shiki is considered a tragedy rather than a horror anime, however the
...
tragedy doesn't only begin around episode 14, it begins since episode 1. The whole story is a tragedy since start but by the end it just becomes more real and I adore it!
Art 9/10
So the artstyle is very unique, and I love it a lot but not enough to give it a 10 as the hair could've been a little better shaded. Just because an artstyle is unique doesn't mean it's lazy it can just not be ur cup of tea. I also loved the forest shots in the background a lot!
Sound 10/10
The OST is amazing. A M A Z I N G. One of the best ones out there and honestly very very underrated. The OST is very dramatic yet haunting and beautiful. When it comes to other sounds in the anime, the character's voices were perfect and fit them just right, the sounds of gore scenes was also well done.
Character 7/10
There is so many characters in Shiki and it's kind of hard to keep up. That is one of the reasons why I gave it a 7 and not a 10. Also the fact that majority of characters is dislikable but that's also kind of what I love so much about this show. The fact that every character is flawed is super great.
Enjoyment 10/10
Loved the suspense and build up. Worth the wait definitely! Broke my heart in the end but totally loved every second of it all.
Overall 10/10
I love this anime with a passion and I consider it very underrated.
