Both shiki and kakegurui had certain parts that were filled with so much tension that sent chills down my spine but at the same time made me think just how beautifully thought out the pieces were. I really recommend shiki to anyone who likes tension, dramatic scenes and a bunch of cliffhangers so you'll have to finish it in one night (halloween eve would be the best option!)

Both shows are based around the deaths of supporting characters in the eyes of how the protagonist experiences it. Both gave me chills and an identity crisis for a week. Not to mention, both shows have a pink hair girl getting hit by multiple wheels in an episode LOL

Both Shiki and Attack on Titan portray the creatures feeding on humans as evil but later on show that they have their own reasons to do things that they do and make us kinda understand the other side and that there's no such thing as pure evil

Shiki and Ghouls both have to take the lives of humans to survive. Is it really wrong to want to live?

Both Shiki and Tokyo Ghoul display creatures whose life means our death. Both have simular characteristics and looks as well. However later on the show humanizes them so much that we begin to empathize with them. Are the creatures who have to kill us to survive really evil or just trying to survive?

Both shows are creepy and show that there's no true villain. Sometimes we're even worse than the villain we are trying to kill.

Mirai Nikki and Shiki aside from both having a pink haired yandere character obsessing over a guy named Yuki, shows us that no one is truly good or truly evil. We all have our reasons and we are all human after all.

Both Shiki and Elfen Lied show us that even the "monsters" have their reasons for doing something, not out of pure evilness but rather the feeling of loneliness and isolation while also trying to survive.
