This series started extremely promising with the first few episodes, with a completely different approach and story-line that is radically different from previous Godzilla works.

There are a mixture of both mystery, suspense and plenty of scientific jargon that will make sci-fi fans very happy.

Animation is pretty good also using a pretty retro and abstract style to give the series a more retro feel.

The first 6 to 7 episodes are pretty good, slowly building up the suspense with many technical elements mixed into the story. The plot also seemed pretty good and deep for the first half of the anime series.

However things started to ... nosedive though the later part of the series. The thing that is very turn off for me is that how godzilla came to be is extremely similar to Shin Godzilla the movie. It just felt to me that the writers felt lazy for the second half of the series.

The story was getting too complicated with so many technical jargon that one have to re-watch many conversation scenes just to understand what they are talking about.

The major disappointment was that the anime title was titled "Godzilla Sp" but Godzilla only appeared for pretty brief moments in the entire anime towards the final few episodes.

And the ending is obviously extremely rushed and just destroyed whatever satisfaction there is and the point of watching the entire anime.

Overall I find that this anime's potential is terribly wasted because they tried to squeeze in too much stuff over 13 episodes. An extremely disappointing ending ruined the entire series.

Just completed watching this series. The story is pretty standard sports anime fare, girl with some talent enter a high school sports club, proceed to train then enter the national competition. No surprises there.

However, the pacing is kinda all over the place and also character development is next to non existent. Only the protagonist and her team mates got some sort of back story, the rest of the characters have little to no back story at all.

While the first few episodes was pretty fun and engaging to watch with a pretty up beat soundtrack, introducing and explaining the various rules, techniques and other ... sports climbing terms . The later half of the series kinda lost the plot. With weak premise for rivalry between the protagonist and the top climber of another team.

This anime have the potential to be great but was put down totally by the rushed production to conclude the series within 12 episodes. The last two episodes was horrible. Totally no impact at all.

What could had been a great anime became a forgettable one which is very unfortunate.

This is one of the very under ratted animes this season. Looks boring at first, but actually it's pretty interesting and also calming to watch.

While there is nothing special on the story or character designs, it's the feel good factor of watching friends enjoying each other's company that made this Anime really enjoyable to watch.

Artwork is pretty good for this Anime series with decent graphics and good art style.

The Anime also goes into detail on various fishing techniques which is very cool. Beginners might find this Anime informative to a certain extent.

End of the day it's for those who want to ... feel good, nice and hungry after watching each episode.

After completing the anime, overall I feel that the anime was a very bad letdown to the light novel.

Positives for this anime will be for the decently good artwork and graphics. The magic circles are pretty detailed and fight scenes are pretty clear and concise.

The character designs are decent with interesting back stories for the main characters.

negatives for this anime will be the apparent rush to complete the anime in 13 episodes, which totally destroyed the story line. Too many details are cut from the light novel.

There are certain insert songs in the later part of the series which sounds totally nonsensical and ... obviously composed by total amateurs.

The songs, lyrics and all are so horrible and cheesy that it totally spoiled the mood of that particular scene. Can't imagine a fight going on with some para para type of girl group music playing.

What could had been an intriguing anime turned into another OP demon lord harem anime which is very sad.

Won't recommend this anime to anyone really.

This will probably be the most refreshing anime i had watched in a long while.

For an original anime series, can see they really put in a lot of effort into this series.

Artwork is excellent, with very detailed scenes and yes, the musical instruments as well. Character design was also pretty good, and this is not only for the two main characters but also for the entire cast.

Story was fantastic and incredibly interesting. With a sci-fi setting, the anime portrays how music will be produced in the future with human vs AI in terms of producing music. Two talented musicians who produce their ... own music VS a model turned Singer who have a talented producer using AI.

Music and BGM is fantastic. It ties in well with the scene and really sets the mood. Whether it's during the funny, quirky, sad or touching scenes, it's definitely spot on.

Now that the anime is at the mid point, can't wait to see what will happen for the following episodes and what new songs will be out!

Definitely one of the best music anime i had ever watched.

Just finished the second season, and i had to say, JC staff did not do a good job this time.

While the artwork was comparable, it's the pacing, story and more importantly fight scenes that disappoint.

The pacing of the story in the second season overall seems to be very rushed. i was initially excited to finally meet more characters from the hero association, but whenever each character appeared, it seems very rushed with little back story to their abilities.

While i believe the story follows the manga quite accurately, there were points in the anime were it's pretty boring to watch There is totally ... no anticipation whatsoever.

However, the worst part are the fight scenes. The reason why Season one was so successful was because the fight scenes was extremely dramatic and captured the raw emotions, strength and struggles of the characters. For example, when ever Saitama punches some monsters, it's always pretty dramatic in the first season, however in the second season it seems the animators got lazy and the result is very meh. So much so Saitama look like a supporting character instead of the main character.

Garo's fight scenes are also kinda wasted. While Garo have a very cool theme song, the fight scenes don't match with his song. Extremely underwhelming i have to say.

The only fight scene i kinda enjoyed was Metal Bat's fight scene.

Madhouse did a terrific job animating and choreographing the fight sequences. And i feel they set the bay too high for Jc Staff to match.

Overall i find the second season to be uninspiring and underwhelming. It seems to me the director forgot that it's a story about Saitama and not the Hero association.

I hope the second season don't sink the entire franchise and prevent season three from happening. As the follow up story is simply amazing.

Just completed watching this anime. While it's suppose to emphasise on the struggles of a stereotypical Japanese salary office worker, the story, premises and other day to day per episode situations all are heavily recycled, which makes the anime almost boring to watch.

For the cuteness part, every episode is all about the male protagonist getting a hard on for the fox girl's tail. First few episodes it's ok, anything more then that it gets dreary.

Artwork is horrible. it really exposes the cheap budgeted nature of the anime.

There is zero character development literally. Almost every episode is all about guy coming back from work, ... fox girl either cooks, washes or do some other form of grooming.

Overall it's a forgettable anime with zero re-watch value.

This is such an under ratted anime. The artwork is pretty good, story and plot is not new, but certainly made more interesting with pretty good characters and their back stories.

The pacing of the anime was also pretty balanced with humor and emotional scenes well mixed in for every episode so far.

The main draw of this anime is the music. It's so refreshing to listen to traditional koto music and further more it was made interesting to watch with explanations on various type of kotos, techniques and playing styles etc.

And so far, the anime is following the manga quite closely with very few ... scenes cut.

Definitely a must watch!
