I see. I actually i understand more of your personal opinion of the show now that you have implied it more formally and much more detailed in the comment, I only wish you have done the same with the actual review. I did not mean to say that your opinion is wrong in anyway, I just thought that in your review, there are some parts that other viewers might misinterpret since you did not include your supporting statements ( which i can see in your comment here). Nevertheless, i also thank you for you comment, I agree that we no longer need to argue about this matter so I say we end it here.

Hi, read your review on Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo and i just cant help but point out and correct a few statements that just seems so wrong to me as a fellow critic (well as i think I am one at least). I'm writing this comment as an advise to a fellow critic like you and I am not seeking any conflict whatsoever. First, I saw your review and you scored it a 1 out of 10 which is fine by me if that's what you really think the score that the show deserves, but a few statements on your review seems so misinterpreting or downright incorrect. Let's start with "it's pretty obvious this anime was produced on an extremely low budget if not none at all", i understand what you’re getting here, the show doesn't clearly have the best art, it looks pretty pale and bland and there are also a few newbie voice actors in there. But I want you to understand that producing an anime is not that easy especially for a studio, "Lay-duce", that has just been established a few years ago with only a few successful show to gain funds from. Second, "little to no story line at all. This is slice of life done wrong literally.", I don't know what your clear definition of "Storyline" is that you would want it to be visible in the very first episode but let me tell you that a "storyline" would only be visible upon viewing of the entire show. Or if you are referring to the starting point of the storyline on the show, it is clear that the show has established its premise in the first episode. Also, this show is actually not a "Slice of Life" anime, it's more of a "Drama" anime ( being a drama show, it's obvious that it won't have that fast of a pacing to show a lot of the storyline just in the first episode). Not all Drama(s) are SoL and not all SoL also have Drama elements present in it. Sure, there might be SoL elements present in the show but doesn't mean that the show absolutely caters itself as a SoL rather then the Drama anime that the creators intends it to be. This would also be clear if you looked at the genre of the show present in the page of the anime here at MAL but it seems you did not bother checking it out before writing your review. Third, "Almost zero character development", just like you "storyline" statement, it is just not right to look for character development at the start of the show, in a 1st episode that only spans 20mins. That's why it is called "character development", it takes time and if what you’re looking for is an instantaneous character development, just so you know that would be a very bad example of a "character development". Fourth, "There are five characters in this anime and while i don't expect all to have fantastic background stories in just one episode, there isn't one to begin with.", the anime explores adolescence and growth, so clearly it gives more importance on future development rather than past events or "background stories". The flashback at the first episode serves only to establish the conflict between the main female character and the main male character in the story. Lastly, "Went on to try to read the manga and found that much of the manga's story had been omitted in this first episode.". I've also read a few chapters of the manga before the 1st episode aired and as far as i know , there wasn't really any part of the manga that has been omitted. If there is, well it has been a common practice to omit unnecessary part of a manga when adopting it to an anime. Though it is frustrating, you just can't expect that a source material will be adopted into an anime with pinpoint precision scene per scene and page per page. Again, i just want to express my outlook as a fellow critic. Please look at this comment as a piece of advice. I just really think that your review is kind of misinterpreting and a lot of people might look at it thinking it is a shitty show and they might possibly miss on a good show. Clearly i liked the show and i tend to watch these underrated shows rather than already famous manga / light novel adoptions which already has a massive fanbase and will clearly catch attention of a lot of viewers. I just want other people to check out other shows like this.
