They both have a very similar vibe to them, there are characters that are slightly sadistic and the humor is quite similar. Both MCs slowly open up to each other alot more and are able to be honest with each other The music in both are quite good!

I'm so surprised that no one has made a link between these two. -Both of MCs have fantastic chemistry -One is music themed and one is sports themed but both MCs have a dynamic of one teaching the other the craft -Both anime have AMAZING music (unskippable OP and EDs LITERALLY not kidding) -similar side character/group dynamics of slightly older characters (in their 20s) looking out for the younger characters and guiding and supporting them in crucial moments -colours and animation in both are spectacular -funny and feelsy just the right amount -both also touch on deeper themes of love and loss and gaining passion for life

I can't believe how no one actually have mentioned this yet. Both anime centres around music, love and healing. Both MCs find their voice and find out more about themselves and meaning in continue to smile and live through music. Both anime will probably make you ball your eyes out.

Eizouken ni wa Te wo Dasu na!

Both anime focuses on main characters trying to follow their passion in the arts where Eizouken is trying to make anime and Bakuman is trying to make manga. Both anime delves into the details of the trials and challenges of making their passion become a reality. Eizouken is a bit more dreamworld-like with a stronger focus on friendship and growing up while Bakuman has a stronger focus on romance and inter-personal relationships. Bakuman has pretty cool storyline-ceptions, it makes you want to read the mangas that the main characters come up with while Eizouken is very kind to show you the finished product at the end of each arc (thank goodness).

Both anime focuses on main characters trying to follow their passions where Eizouken is trying to make anime and Sakura-sou are about individuals living in an apartment each trying to strive for their dreams. Both anime delves into the details of the trials and challenges of making their passion become a reality. Sakura-sou is a bit more feelsy and for an older audience compared to Eizouken which is more dreamworld-like with a stronger focus on friendship and growing up. Animation style is incredible in both and is quite different, Eizouken is more concept-art and almost Dreamworks-like while Sakura-sou is more No game no life like with a stronger emphasis on purple, blue and pink hues.

Artstyles are both cute and adorable but both covering dark and gritty themes and storylines with many turns and twists. Both anime are morally grey Made in Abyss has more world-building story-based traits while Madoka★Magica focuses on characterisation and their motivations. Both have incredible and unique artstyles. (you may or may not shed a tear in a few episodes)

1. The main character practically looks the same, they are like twins in alternate universes but one is more socially awkward than the other. 2. Both contain a really cute and bubbly girl that has beautiful eyes, and makes the main male character more excited about life. 3. The main character secretly likes the main girl but feels slightly tortured under her brightness or liveliness.

1. They have very similar art style and extremely similar crispy and smooth transitions. 2. They both unfold the plot in the same sort of way (although they have very different plots they are both evolved with some sort of mystery), in some episodes it is extremely chilled, but at the end of each arc, it will mind-blow you with all the details of the previous episodes together in some sort of intelligent way.

1. Both heroines start off with a love interest that betrays them deeply which causes them to resent that person and act on revenge, vengeance. 2. Both heroines start off weak and slightly annoying and then by the end of the series, they are both BAD-ASS and awesome! 3. Not a whole lot of romance in both, but just enough to keep you watching the next ep. 4. Second love interest is disliked at first, but then the main character grows to like them. Skip beat is about showbiz while Aka no Yona is slightly historical and more action-packed. BOTH AMAZING!!!
